A topic of this study is focused on the electrical properties by utilizing thermally stimulated current and the time-of-flight method for conducting polymers such as PCPA and PPS. The mobility of carriers between electrodes inserted polymer was measured by Scher-Montroll plot. As a summary, it is shown that the conductivity of the polymer was strongly dependent on high affinity I₂or TCNQ addivities. The reason for increasing of conductivity is believed that the carrier density and mobility of polymer by adding I₂for PCPA were increased.

A topic of this study is focused on the magnetic properties of Ni-Zn ferrite dependent on heat treat-ments(60, 80, 95℃) and frequency. Ni-Zn ferrite powders were synthesized by wet-direct method using FeCl₂·6H₂O, NiCl₂·6H₂O and ZnCl₂ as starting raw materials. As a summary, the initial permeability, loss factor and magnetic reluctance in the frequencies of 10 KHz∼10MHz for the specimens by prepared on the 60(℃) heat treatment and sintering condition at 1100(℃) for 3 hours were 7, 1∼5×10?? and 14.7(AT/wb), respectively. The highest highest figure of merit (??×Q) at the 400(KHz) was 1,050.
Flux법에 의해 제조된 압전 세라믹(PZT)의 첨가물 효과

The electrical resistitivty and piezoelectric properties have been studied for Lead Zirconate-Titanate (PZT) with Nb₂O?? dopant, fabricated from conventional mixed-oxide powders and molten salt synthesis. The resistivity and electromechanical coupling factor(K??) were increased with increasing Nb contents. The reason for increasing of the electrical resistivity below the Curie Temperature(Tc). It is believed that the p-type electrical conduction in PZT is caused by the lead vacancies. The electromechanical coupling factor(K??) and piezoelectric constant d?? were improved by Nb?? additives. This behavior can be explained as a compensation effect and Nb?? can serve as a donar and contribute electrons to the conduction process. As a result, the optimized Nb₂O?? dopants on the PZT specimens were 0.75wt%.

The Lead Zirconate-Titanate (PZT) ceramic elements are used for piedzoelectric material. In this paper, I studied the dependence of frequency and temperature on the relative dielectic constant, electromechanical coupling coefficient, mechanical quality factor of PZT ceramic which is maded by hot-pressing method and investigated the electron micrographs of the etched surface of PZT ceramics prepard by various sintering condition.

In this study, 3-D underwater object recognition using the self-made 3-3 type composite ultrasonic transducer and modified SOFM(Self Organizing Feature Map) neural network are investigated. Properties of the self-made 3-3 type composite specimens are satisfied considerably with requirements as an underwater ultrasonic transducer's materials. 3-D underwater all objects recognition rates obtained from both the training data and testing data in different objects, such as a rectangular block, regular triangular block, square block and cylinderical block, were 100% and 94.0%, respectively. All objects recognition rates are obtained by utilizing the self-made 3-3 type composite transducer and SOFM neural network. From the object recognition rates, it could be seen that an ultrasonic transducer fabricated with the self-made 3-3 type composite resonator will be able to have application for the underwater object recognition.
導電性 高分子의 電氣化學的 DOPING에 의한 電氣的 特性

Aromatic compounds such as Polyparaphenylene(PPP) and Polyparaphenylenvinylene(PPV) were polymerized by chemical and electrochemical synthesis. The electrical properties with various dopants and concentrations for the PPV and PPP were studied. The results are as follows: 1) The conductivities of PPV with BF₄dopants and I₂doped PPP were much incresed(i.e., 10 adn 6 orders, respectively) than those of without dopants. 2) The conductivities of PPV and PPP with NH₃gas were much increased(i.e., 2 and 10 orders, respectively) than those of without NH₃ gas. 3) The variations of ESR line width and spin density were in good agreement with those of polaron and bi-polaron models. As a summary, PPV and PPP were made by chemical and electrochemical synthesis could be appropriate for the gas sensors.
광대역형 Ferrite/Rubber 복합형 전파흡수체의 제작 및 특성

In this paper, the microwave absorption properties of two layered absorber were evaluated. The two layer absorber were composed of Ni-Zn ferrite/rubber and Ferroxplana/rubber absorber. The excellent absorption properties of the two layered absorber were shown that the transforming layer was Ferroxplana/rubber absorber and the absorbing layer was Ni-Zn ferrite/ rubber absorber and that the optimal thickness of transforming and absorbing layer were 4 and 1(mm), respectively.
