      • The Impact of University Sports to Social Development

        Purpose: The health is the basic condition of human existence. As an important part of education and sport, university sport has the vital significance for students` personal growth and social development. This study has the objective in looking at promoting healthy development of university sports and the development of society economy, politics and culture. Method: The methods used in the study are the Literature research and the qualitative analysis and the comprehensive analysis. The reason that three methods were used is to clearly interpret the influence of university sports to social development, and then discuss how to develop university sport. Result: Because sports has become a demand of modern life, so university spots can effect modern society economy, politics and culture in its own way. Firstly, university sports can not only improve people`s physical quality, but also can improve people`s psychological quality such as cultivating strong will and noble moral sentiment, coordinating interpersonal relationship and enhancing the social adaptation ability in order to providing high-quality talents for the society development. Secondly, university spots can promote the development of economy. On the one hand, the healthy body itself is a kind of economic resources that can improve the work efficiency and reduce the probability of illness at the same time, and then reduce the expense of medical expenses. On the other hand, the research achievements in the field of university spot such as the sport scientific research products and exploitation of sport equipment can be quickly converted into social productivity, create material wealth for the society. Thirdly, university spot has a strong radiation to the society culture. For example, it can enrich people`s cultural entertainment life, shape a healthy life attitude and positive life-style and then cultivate university students` positive outlook on life and world view. At the same time, the university sports can make students to promote the development of family sports in the future and make family life more colorful. In addition, university spots is a bond of emotion communication that play an important role in promoting the world peace and stability because it can reunite all university athletes to deepen the understanding of each other`s culture and enhance the friendship Conclusion: The development of university spots directly affect the global development, so it is necessary to promote the healthy development of university spots. Firstly, university spots should cultivate students` consciousness and habit of physical exercise with lifetime sports as the guiding ideology. Secondly, reforming teaching contents and teaching pattern of university sports to enhance the practicability of teaching content and improve the students` cognitive level and knowledge structure in sports. Meanwhile, increasing the interesting and entertainment of university sports, thus increasing the participation of students` sports consumption now and in the future. Thirdly, optimizing the structure and system construction of university sports from in-class to after-class and from inside of university to outside of university in order to improve the quality of university sports. Finally, increasing the funds investment to relieve the present situation about the strain on sports resources in universities and the lack of venues and equipment, then improving teaching environment of university sports.

      • Effect of transformational leadership on organizational performance : Focusing on the mediating effect of decision participation by members of IT industry in China

        Background/Objectives: This research emphasized the importance of Transformational leadership elements such as role model demonstration, vision motivation, individual consideration and charisma. Moreover, it focused on verifying the effects of these four elements on organizational performance through decision participation. In addition, the mediating role of decision participation was clearly identified as a key variable that can lead to organizational performance. Methods/Statistical analysis: To verify this, an empirical analysis was conducted on workers engaged in IT industries in China. Findings: Through empirical analysis, it was found that all four elements of Transformational leadership improve decision participation. Furthermore, decision participation was found to increase the level of organizational performance. Thus, it was found that decision participation played a partial mediating role in the relationship between the four elements of Transformational leadership and organizational performance. Applications: It has great implications for global companies that have entered China or have plans to enter the country in the future by sampling members of the IT industry in China.

        미니멀리즘 포장 디자인 연구 -MUJI 포장을 예로-

        미니멀리즘은 지난 세기에 등장한 디자인 개념으로서 스타일을 풍부하게 하고 간결하고 명확한 요소로 디자인의 주제를 표현하는데, 이는 사람들의 전반적인 미적 요구뿐만 아니라 미적 욕구도 충족시킨다. 동시에 시대의 발전 추세에 부합하고, 디자인 작품이 가져다주는 불편함을 효과적으로 피하며, 보다 편안한 방식으로 일종의 휴머니즘적 배려를 일으킨다. 소비자 시장 선점을 위해 시대의 변화와 늘어나는 복잡한 포장 방식 때문에, 소비자들은 피로감을 느낀 반면 친환경적이고 지속가능하며, 사람 중심적인 디자인을 선호하게 되었다. 단순한 선과 단순한 모양, 큰 여백이 있는 미니멀리즘 패키지 디자인을 선택해 공간감을 강조하고 있다. MUJI는 물질적 즐거움을 추구하는 현대 소비자들을 위한 새로운 소비방식을 제공한다. 사람들로 하여금 라벨을 뜯고, 불필요한 것들을 제거하며, 물건 자체를 감상하도록 자극한다. 또한 사람들이 제품 기능에 관심을 갖도록 유도한다. MUJI는 생산과 디자인 혹은 포장과 제조든 제품의 기능성을 강조하고 복잡한 생산 과정을 단순화시킨다. 무인양품의 스타일은 미니멀리즘뿐만 아니라 선(禪)과 같은 동양적 미학의 영향을 받아 혁신적이면서도 동양적 미학과 지역적 특성을 지닌 미니멀리스트 스타일이 되었다. 본 논문은 주로 미니멀리즘 이론을 바탕으로 국내외 여러 패키징 사례를 분석하고, 분류와 귀납을 비교하여 패키징 디자인에 미니멀리즘을 적용한 사례를 탐색하였다. 그리고 무인양품 패키징 적용에서 미니멀리즘 제품을 구체적으로 분석하여 사람들이 미니멀리즘의 개념에 따른 제품 포장 디자인 제작을 이해하도록 하고자 한다. Minimalism, as an emerging design concept in the last century, enriches the style and expresses the theme of design with concise and clear elements, which meets not only people’s overall aesthetic requirements but also their aesthetic needs. At the same time, it conforms to the development trend of the times, effectively avoids the discomfort brought by design works, and brings a kind of humanistic care in a more comfortable way. With the progress of the times and the increasingly complex packaging for the consumer market, consumers are growing tired and following green, sustainable, and people-oriented design. They choose the minimalist packaging design with simple lines, pure shapes, and large blank spaces, highlighting a strong sense of space. MUJI comes with a new way of consumption for contemporary consumers who pursue material enjoyment. It reminds people to tear off labels, remove redundant processing, and appreciate the material itself. It also advocates people to pay attention to product functions. Whether it is production and design, or packaging and manufacturing, MUJI highlights the functionality of products and greatly simplifies the complex production process. MUJI’s style has been influenced by not only minimalism but also oriental aesthetics such as Zen, and has become an innovative minimalist style with oriental aesthetics and regional characteristics. In this paper, based on the theory of minimalism, various domestic and foreign packaging cases were analyzed, and cases in which minimalism was applied to packaging design were explored by comparing classification and induction. In addition, in the application of MUJI packaging, minimalism products are specifically analyzed to help people understand the production of product packaging design according to the concept of minimalism.

        Structural, electrical, and optical properties of carbon nanotube-incorporated Al-doped zinc oxide thin films prepared by sol-gel method

        Aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) thin films incorporated with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have been prepared by sol-gel technique on glass substrates. The ratio of the MWCNT in sol-gel solution ranges from 0.01 to 1.0 wt.%. This study investigates the effects of MWCNT ratio on structural, electrical, and optical properties of AZO:MWCNT thin films. The XRD analysis showed a strong (0 0 2) peak along the c axis at 2θ ~ 34.4 o indicating a hexagonal wurtzite structure for the AZO:MWCNT thin films. The intensity of (0 0 2) peak decreased with the increasing MWCNT ratio, revealing that AZO were bounding with the MWCNTs. The sheet resistance of AZO:MWCNT thin films significantly decreased from 1.38 × 104 to 10.5 Ω/□ with increasing the MWCNT ratio from 0.01 to 1.0 wt.%; meanwhile, the optical transmittance in the visible wavelength region decreased from 87.9% to 12.1%, respectively. The figure of merit showed that the developed AZO:MWCNT thin film with the MWCNT ratio of 0.01 wt.% has the optimal electro-optical properties for transparent conducting electrode applications.

        Inhibition of Dextran Sodium Sulfate-Induced Experimental Colitis in Mice by Angelica Sinensis Polysaccharide

        Studies have confirmed that Angelica sinensis, which is a famous medicinal food in China, can effectively alleviate the symptoms of ulcerative colitis (UC) in rats. However, as the major water-soluble ingredient, the specific effects of A. sinensis polysaccharide (ASP) on UC and potential mechanisms were uncertain. In this study, we aimed to elucidate the protective effects of ASP on dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced UC and to further explore the mechanisms. ASP could significantly ameliorate the symptoms of weight loss, disease activity index score, and colon shortening caused by DSS. ASP treatment also significantly suppressed the myeloperoxidase activity in colon tissues. Furthermore, after ASP administration, the expression of the proinflammatory cytokines (interleukin [IL]-6, IL-1β, and tumor necrosis factor alpha) induced by DSS was remarkably suppressed, and there was a definite improvement in the expressions of tight junction proteins, such as zona occludens 1, occludin, and claudin-1. In addition, the results of apoptosis experiments showed that the apoptotic events were noticeably reduced after ASP treatment. Taken together, these results suggested that ASP may be a potential natural agent against UC.

      • A Clinical Database of Breast Cancer Patients Reveals Distinctive Clinico-pathological Characteristics: a Study From Central China

        Background: Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in females worldwide. Many differences exist in clinico-pathological characteristics of breast cancer patients between China and Western countries. This study aimed to analyze clinico-pathological characteristics of breast cancer from central China. Methods: Clinico-pathological information on breast cancer from three hospitals in central China was collected and analyzed. Results: From 1994 to 2012, 2,525 patients with a median age 50 years were included in this study. The 45-49-year age group and invasive ductal carcinoma not otherwise specified accounted for the highest proportions (19.1%, 480/2,525 and 81.0%, 1,982/2,446). Stages 0-I, II and III accounted for 28.0% (682/2,441), 48.4% (1,180/2,441), and 23.7% (578/2,441), respectively. Distribution of N stage showed that N0 accounted for 53.2% (1,344/2,525), and proportion of N0 rose from 51.1% (157/307) in 30-39-year age group to 64.3% (110/171) in ${\geq}$ 70-year age group, with an average increase of 2.1% in each age group. Modified radical mastectomy, radical mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery and simple mastectomy were performed for 71.8% (1,812/2,525), 18.0% (454/2,525), 5.2% (131/2,525) and 2.6% (66/2,525), respectively. Proportions of breast-conserving surgery in age ${\leq}$ 44-year group (68/132, 51.5%) and simple mastectomy in age ${\geq}$ 60-year group (57/89, 64.0%) were higher than in the other age groups. Breast cancers positive for estrogen receptor accounted for 53.0% (1,107/ 2,112). The comparisons among this study and other reports showed higher proportion of younger patients, lower proportion of breast-conserving surgery and positive estrogen receptor patients in China than western countries. Conclusions: Clinico-pathological characteristics in this study demonstrated clear differences between the center of China than Western countries. Additional classification systems should be developed to guide grading of early breast cancer more accurately, especially for N0 patients. Invasive ductal carcinoma is a focus for intensive research.

        Robust Adaptive Backstepping Control for an Uncertain Nonlinear System with Input Constraint based on Lyapunov Redesign

        This paper presents the control problem for a class of n-order semi-strict nonlinear system subjects tounknown parameters, uncertainty, and input constraint. The controller is designed via combining backsteppingcontrol and Lyapunov redesign. Firstly, based on the Lyapunov function, a composite adaptive law is constructedto estimate the unknown parameters. To sequel, a robust term is designed to handle the matched and unmatcheduncertainties on the basis of Lyapunov redesign technique. The “explosion of terms” problem that inherent inbackstepping control is avoided by the robust second-order filters. Thirdly, an auxiliary signal provided by theauxiliary system is employed to handle the influence of the input constraint. It is proved that the closed-loopsystem is stable in a Lyapunov framework theory and the semi-global uniformly ultimate boundedness of all signalsis achieved. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed controlstrategy. Numerical example and the application of the hypersonic vehicle (HSV) tracking control are simulated todemonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

        Near-Ultraviolet Lateral Photovoltaic Effect of Epitaxial Nb:SrTiO3 Films on Si Substrate Using TiN as a Buffer Layer

        In recent years, signifi cant attention has been directed toward exploring heterojunctions based on perovskite materials forultraviolet photodetectors. This study focuses on the fabrication of high-quality single-crystal Nb:SrTiO 3 (NSTO) fi lms onSi substrates, achieved through the utilization of a TiN thin fi lm as a buff er layer. The investigation delves into the lateralphotovoltaic effect exhibited by the fi lm. Characterization using X-ray diff raction and high-resolution transmission electronmicroscopy confi rms the exceptional quality of the NSTO fi lm. Notably, the observed position sensitivity attains an impressivevalue of 43.9 mV mm−1. Analysis of the lateral photovoltaic effect reveals response and relaxation times of approximately105.6 ns and 4.49 μs, respectively. Intriguingly, fi tting results for the relaxation time indicate minimal defects withinthe NSTO/TiN/Si heterostructures. These fi ndings underscore the signifi cant potential of NSTO/TiN/Si heterojunctions,presenting a promising avenue for their widespread application in the realm of position change technology.

      • Outcome-based Contractors Selection using the Integrated Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPISIS Method

        Based on the concept of outcome-based maintenance, the outcome-based contractor equipment support is proposed as the logistical support strategy in the military industry. The outcome-based contractor equipment support is focus on the combat efficiency rather than on the performance of the equipments. Choosing the right contractor is a very important part in the process of its implementation. In fact, the contractor selection is a multi-criteria decision-making problem, which is largely dependent on the uncertainty and ambiguity of the decision-makers. This paper presents a systematic decision-making process of the outcome-based contractor selection, which employs fuzzy AHP to determine the importance weights of each index and adopts fuzzy TOPSIS to obtain the performance ratings of the alternative contractors. Finally, the validity of this method is verified by a specific case.
