Controlling cancer pain using an indwelling tunneled epidural catheter is an effective method of pain control. Although this procedure is relatively safe, caution should be exercised, as serious complications such as epidural abscesses may occur. The main causative bacterium is Staphylococcus aureus; however, the author experienced an epidural abscess caused by Serratia marcescens, a very rare causative bacterium. The number of immunosuppressed patients is increasing due to the aging population and the expansion of cancer treatment. Consequently, the possibility of epidural abscesses is also increasing. Infection by Serratia marcescens, known as an opportunistic infection, should be considered a possible causative organism in the diagnosis and treatment of epidural abscesses.

To obtain efficient organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), the degradation in the surface properties of the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode during the device fabrication should be prevented. In this study, we investigated the effect of the waiting time of ITO in the entry chamber before the transfer to the deposition chamber on the device performances of OLEDs. The current density and luminance of the OLED significantly decreased owing to the reduced hole injection with the increase in the waiting time. The origin of the reduced hole injection was estimated to be (1) the formation of trap sites at the interface between ITO and hole-transport layer and (2) decreased work function of ITO by an interface dipole. These phenomena could be attributed to the contamination of the ITO surface by the waiting under a relatively low vacuum and room light illumination.
대학 교수자의 교수역량 측정도구 개발 및 타당화 연구 : S 대학교를 중심으로

본 연구는 4년제 대학의 교육품질 제고를 위해 대학 교수자의 교수역량 및 구성요인을 도출하고 이를 측정하는 도구를 개발하여 타당화하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 첫째, 선행연구를 토대로 잠정적 교수역량과 구성요인을 개발하였으며, 2회에 걸친 델파이 조사를 통해 4개 교수역량, 18개 구성요인을 도출하였다. 둘째, 문헌 탐색을 통해 도출한 127개 초기문항에 대하여 두 번째 델파이 조사에서 내용타당도를 확보한 81개 예비문항이 확정되었다. 셋째, S대학교 전임 교원을 대상으로 예비검사를 실시하고, 우수 교육상을 수상한 교원을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 그 결과 15문항이 삭제되어 66개의 본검사 문항이 도출되었다. 넷째, S대학교 전체 교원을 대상으로 본검사를 실시하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 통해 구인타당도와 척도의 적합도가 검증되어 총 62개 문항으로 구성된 교수역량 측정도구를 확정하였다. 최종 확정된 교수역량 측정도구는 교수·학습 기본 역량이 4개 요인과 13문항, 교수·학습 설계 역량이 6개 요인과 19문항, 교수·학습 실행 역량이 6개 요인과 24문항, 교수·학습 성찰 역량이 2개 요인과 6문항으로 구성되었다. 본 측정도구는 최근 대학의 교수·학습 지원에서 강조되고 있는 역량기반 교육 실행 지원과 포스트 코로나 시대의 교수역량 개발 지원에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors constituting teaching competencies for improving the educational quality of an university, and developing and validating a scale to measure them. In order to develop the scale, first, provisional teaching competencies and costituent factors were developed by analysing literature review. Then, 4 teaching competencies and 18 factors were derived through 2-round Delphi survey. Second, after the measurement scale with 127 items was drafted by a prior study analysis, 81 items were developed through Delphi survey for preliminary. Third, a preliminary examination was conducted for full-time faculties of S University, and an interview was conducted with the teachers who received the excellent education award. As a result, 15 questions were deleted and 66 main test questions were derived. Finally, construct validity and model fit were verified through exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) from the final test with 321 faculties, and a total of 62 items were confirmed. The final teaching measurement scale included 4 competencies and 18 factors: 4 factors and 13 items of teaching-learning foundation competency, 6 factors and 19 items of teaching-learning design competency, 6 factors and 24 items of teaching-learning practice competency, and 2 factors and 6 items of teaching-learning reflection competency. This measurement tool is expected to be helpful in supporting the implementation of competency-based education, which has been emphasized in university teaching-learning support recently, and supporting the development of teaching competency in the post-COVID era.

모바일 어플리케이션 개발이 일반화 되었으나, 모바일 어플리케이션의 안정성은 메모리 사용 방식에 의해서 많은 차이가 난다. 실시간 운영체제의 웹 브라우저는 초기 구동 시 할당받은 메모리만을 활용하도록 제한되는데, 페이지에 따라 메모리를 추가 요청하게 된다. 본 논문은 메모리 활용도를 높이기 위한 단편화 메모리 활용 구조와 시스템의 안정성에 문제가 되는 메모리 추가 요청을 막기 위한 메모리 고갈 회피 구조를 제안한다. 실험결과 단편화된 상황에서도 이미지의 표현이 가능하였으며, 제한된 메모리 상태에서 안정성이 향상되었다. The development of mobile application is popular, but the stability of mobile applications is dependent upon the memory usages. Web browser of real time operating system uses the memory only allocated in the start-up operation and the memory may be additionally requested by pages. This paper proposes (1) a memory allocation structure to effectively maintain the memory resource, and (2) a memory exhaustion avoidance structure to prevent additional requests of memory that hampers system stability. The conducted experiment shows that our methodology supports the image display in a fragmented condition and decreases the additional requests for memory.
