The HRM Revolution Driven by Information Technology in China

As the most important and strategic resources in the era of knowledge economy, human resources have been more remarkable than ever before in todays society. After joining the WTO in the year of 2001. Chinese companies had faced the challenge of economy globalization. To meet the requirements of international business environment, human resource management (HRM) is experiencing a deep revolution in theory, methodology and tools in China. In this paper, the authors give an outline on current situation of Chinas human resources, discuss the challenges on HRM while China strides towards the economy globalization, and analyze how information technologies are driving the emerging HRM renovation in China.
Customer Behavior Pattern Discovery by Adaptive Clustering Based on Swarm Intelligence

Customer behavior pattern discovery is the fundament for conducting customer oriented services and the services management. But, the composition, need, interest and experience of customers may be continuously changing, thereof lead to the difficulty in refining a stable description of their consistent behavior pattern. This paper presented a new method for the behavior pattern discovery from a changing collection of customers. It was originally inspired from the swarm intelligence of ant colony. By the adaptive clustering, some typical behavior patterns which reflect the characteristics of related customer clusters can extracted dynamically and adaptively.
Emergency Management on Internet Spread of Social Events

The rapid development and widespread application of Internet has provided a platform for people to participate and discuss social hotspot events. In the meantime, social events may be spread throughout the Internet more quickly and widely than they did ever before, and possibly lead to serious social problems due to opinion violence or seditious rumour. This paper analyzed the Internet spread of social events, and presented a five-stage model to describe the evolution process of that spread. Furthermore, the improved IBF algorithm was applied to extract a pruned connected graph aiming to find the key nodes and the shortest spread path for the control of that spread. After analyzing the different factors that may cause the netizens' attention, this paper concluded BBS type, the visit quantity and the opinion leader are key factors which affect the Internet spread. Based on those researches, a life-cycle emergency management methodology and the related strategies were proposed for the achievement of healthy spreading environment on Internet.

Ubiquitous learning has aroused great interest and is becoming a new way for foreign language education in today’s society. However, how to increase the learners’ initiative and their community cohesion is still an issue that deserves more profound research and studies. Emotional intelligence can help to detect the learner’s emotional reactions online, and therefore stimulate his interest and the willingness to participate by adjusting teaching skills and creating fun experiences in learning. This is, actually the new concept of smart education. Based on the previous research, this paper concluded a neural mechanism model for analyzing the learners’ emotional characteristics in ubiquitous environment, and discussed the intelligent monitoring and automatic recognition of emotions from the learners’ speech signals as well as their behavior data by multi-agent system. Finally, a framework of emotional intelligence system was proposed concerning the smart foreign language education in ubiquitous learning.

Big Data Analysis of Weather Condition and Air Quality on Cosmetics Marketing

Demands of cosmetics are affected not only by the well-known elements such as brand, price, and customer's consumption capacity, but also by some latent factors, for example, weather and air environment. Due to complexity and dynamic changes of the above factors, their influences can hardly be estimated in an accurate way by the traditional approaches such as survey and questionnaires. Through modeling and statistical analysis of big data, this article studied the impacts of weather condition and air quality on customer flow and sales of the cosmetics distributors in China, and found several hidden influencing factors. It provided a big-data based method for the analysis of unconventional factors on cosmetics marketing in the changing weather condition and air environment.
