      • E. coli에 의한 1세 미만 요로 감염의 치료에 방광요관역류가 미치는 영향

        Background : Vesicoureteral reflux(VUR) is the major cause of urinary tract infection(UTI) in children. The study was done to confirm the influence of vesicoureteral reflux on treatment of urinary tract infection. Methods : One hundred seventy one patients below 1 year old diagnosed with UTI by Escherichia. coli (E. coli) in the Department of Pediatrics, Dae-Dong Hospital from January, 2001 to December, 2005 were retrospectively enrolled to analyze relevant information obtained from medical record, including hematologic and urine analysis, renal ultrasonography, 99mTc-DMSA renal scan, antimicrobial susceptibilities and response of treatment, comparing two group of absence and presence of VUR. Results: Leukocytosis and decreased Hemoglobin level was predominent and the rate of bacteriuria and nitrite positivity were 84.1% and 40.4% respectively. Renal ultrasonography didn't contribute to the prognostication of VUR. Presentation of photopenic area in 99mTc-DMSA renal scan was related to VUR and the severity of VUR was significantly correlated with renal scar formation(P<0.05). Average count of administrated intravenous cefotaxime for treatment of UTI was 2.4 times until afebril state, 9.6 times until loss of pyuria and 2.2 times until no growth of Escherichia. coli in urine. Conclusion : There was no differentiations in WBC count, Hb level, urine analysis and response of treatment estimated by count of administrated intravenous cefotaxime until afebrile state, loss of pyuria and no growth of E. coli in urine between the group of absence and presence of VUR.

      • Drosophila busckii의 韓國集團에서 있어서 同位酵素 多形現象

        Genetic structure and variability were investigated in four Korean populations of Drosophila busckii. Eight allozyme loci were analysed by means of starch gel electrophoresis. The proportions of polymorphic loci and loci heterozygous per individual were estimated to be 0.25 and 0.051, respectively. The average genetic similarity between four populations was found to be S―=0.977. This value is similar to the other Drosophila populations reported. However, the gene variation of D. busckii in this study appeared to be the least variable among 28 Drosophila species reported. It is suggested that the low gene variation in D. busckii might be due to adaptation of this species to a narrow niche, but the possibility of occurrence of the random drift cannot be excluded.

      • 휠체어농구선수의 심리기술과 자기관리 특성 분석

        본 연구는 휠체어농구선수와 장애가 없이 휠체어농구를 하는 선수 간 심리기술 및 자기관리의 수준과 심리기술이 자기관리에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2008년 현재 대한장애인농구협회에 등록된 모든 선수를 대상으로 실시하였으며, 응답이 부실한 설문지를 제외한 총 106명의 설문지를 대상으로 자료를 분석하였다. 설문에 응답한 106명 중 휠체어농구선수 집단은 59명, 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수 집단은 47명이었다. 본 연구의 조사도구는 유진(1996)의 운동선수 심리기술 검사지와 허정훈(2003)의 운동선수 자기관리 검사지를 사용하였다. 조사도구에 대한 타당성 검증은 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고 신뢰도 검증은 Cronbach's α를 실시하였다. 조사한 자료의 분석은 two-way ANOVA, Multiple Regression analysis를 실시하였으며, 유의수준은 α<.05로 설정하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 첫째, 장애유무와 포지션에 따른 심리기술에서는, 휠체어농구선수집단이 집중력과 불안조절에서 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수 집단보다 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 둘째, 장애유무와 경력에 따른 심리기술 중 목표설정과 심상에서 경력이 짧은 집단은 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수집단이 높은 수준을 나타냈고, 그와 반대로 경력이 오래된 집단에서는 휠체어농구선수집단이 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 또한, 경력 4-6년 집단이 목표설정과 심상에서 제일 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 셋째, 선수들의 심리기술이 자기관리에 미치는 영향에서는 몸관리에서 목표설정과 팀조화가 영향을 미쳤고, 대인관리에서는 팀조화, 심상, 의지력이 영향을 미쳤으며, 훈련관리에서는 의지력, 심상, 목표설정, 팀조화가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라, 경기력 향상을 위해서는 휠체어농구 선수들에게 체력훈련과 기술훈련 외에 심리훈련을 병행 실시해야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to examine the level and relative influence of the psychological skills and self-management of wheelchair basketball athletes and able-bodied wheelchair basketball athletes. The subjects in this study were carried with every athlete who registered with the Korea Wheelchair Basketball Federation. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 106 participants were analyzed except for incomplete ones. Out of the 106 respondents, 59 persons were WA group, and 47 persons were AWA group. The instruments used in this study were Yu Jin's Athlete Psychological Skills Inventory and Heo Jeong-hun (2002)'s Athlete Self-Management Inventory. To verify the validity of the instruments, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out, and Cronbach alpha coefficient was utilized to test their reliability. For data analysis, two-way ANOVA, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were employed, and the level of significance was set at α<.05. As a result of data analysis, First, as for the relationship of the presence or absence of disabilities and position to psychological skills, the WA group was ahead of the AWA group in concentration and anxiety-control. Second, concerning the relationship of disabilities and career to psychological skills, the less-experienced athletes of the AWA group excelled their counterparts of the WA group at goal-setting and imagery, which were two of psychological skills. In the event of the experienced athletes, however, the WA group surpassed the AWA group in those regards. The athletes who had served as athletes for four to six years were most excellent in goal-setting and imagery. Third, the grade of skills made no difference to their level of psychological skills and self-management. Fourth, as to the impact of psychological skills on self-management, their healthcare was under the influence of goal-setting and teamwork; and teamwork, imagery and will-power had an impact on interpersonal skills. Training-management was affected by will-power, imagery, goal-setting and teamwork. Consequently, in aim to advance the athletic performance, it should co-apply psychological practice for the wheelchair basketball players in accordance with physical training and technical skill.

      • 齒科用 Ag-Pd-Cu 3元合金 및 Au添加合金의 時效硬化特性

        The Ag-Pd-Cu alloys containing a small amount of Au is commonly used for dental purposes, because this alloy is cheaper than Au-base alloys for clinical use. However, the most important characteristic of this alloy is age-hardenability, which is not exhibited by other Ag-base dental alloys. The specimens used were Ag-Pd-Cu ternary alloys and Au addition alloy. These alloys were melted and casted by induction electric furnace and centrifugal casting machine in Ar atmosphere. These specimens were solution treated for 2hr at 800% and were then quenched into iced water, and aged at 350~550℃. Age-hardening characteristics of the small Au-containing Ag-Pd-Cu dental alloys were investigated by means of metallurgical microstructures, X-ray diffraction and electron microscope observations, energy dispersed spectra and electron probe microanalysis. Principal results are as follows : The case of hardening in stage Ⅰ was due to the formation of the L1o type face-centered tetragonal PdCu-ordered phase in the grain interior and hardening in stage I was affected by the Cu concentration. In stage Ⅱ, decomposition of the αsolid solution to a PdCu ordered phase(L1o type) and an Ag-rich α₂ phase occurred and a discontinuous precipitation occurred at the grain boundary. From the electron microscope study, it was concluded that the cause of age-hardening in this alloy is the precipitation of the PdCu ordered phase, which has AuCu Ⅰ type face-centered tetragonal structure. Precipitation procedure was α→α+α₂+PdCu→α₁+α₂+PdCu at Pd/Cu =1. Ag-Pd-Cu alloy is more effective dental alloy as ageing treatment and is suitable to isothermal ageing at 450℃.

        In this study, by using the polynomials by Gram-Schmidt process of several orthogonal polynomials as characteristic function, the defects of general orthogonal functions, for example, beam functions induced the complex analysis and orthogonal polynomials applied to limited boundary conditions, and so on, were overcome. Especially, as consequence of compare with the results by general beam functions and orthogonal polynomials, the results of this paper accord very well with those results. Thus, this paper the application possibility of very useful, new characteristic function, and the basic data in dynamic problems were repared for all possible boundary coditions of plates.

      • 低濃度 Al-Ag合金의 時效擧動에 미치는 電氣抵抗의 變化

        It is confirmed by measuring electric resistance of the dilute Al-0.3wt%Ag alloy to form G.P. zones at relatively high temperatures in the nucleation and growth mechanism. Increase of as-quenched resistivity due to the concentration fluctuation at the quenching temperature is found when quenched at lower temperatures. Ageing behaviours in the alloys having remarkable fluctuation variously change with the vacancy concentration. These behaviours are interpreted in terms of the difference in the growth rate of G.P. zones nucleated in the region of higher and lower solute concentration induced by the fluctuation and in terms of the changes of this difference with vacancy concentration.

      • 低濃度 Al-Si系合金에 있어서의 Si 析出物의 粗大化 現象

        The coarsening behaviours of Si precipitates in dilute Al-Si alloys havs been investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy and also determined the number density of Si precipitates and activation energy for the growth of precipitates. The mean radius of Si precipitates in dilute Al-Si alloys was proportional to (time)^(1/3) and this results agree with Lifshitz-Wagner theory for the diffusion controlled mechanism. The number density of Si precipitates was decreased monotonously with increasing of ageing time. Activation energies for the coarsening of Si precipitates in Al-0.8wt% Si alloy and Al-1.2wt%Si alloy were 33.44 Kcal/mol and 32.9 Kcal/mol respectively, which agreed with that of inter-diffusion.

      • Al-Zn-Mg合金의 加工熱處理에 미치는 遷移元素의 影響

        An investigation for influence of a small additions of transition metals (Mn, Zr, Cr) on the thermomechanical treatment (TMT) in Al-Zn-Mg alloys has been carried out by means of the measurements of tensile strength and micro-vickers hardness. The results obtained from this experiment are summarized as follows; 1) Hardness and strength of Al-Zn-Mg alloys are increased remarkable by a small additions of transition metals (Mn, Zr, Cr) at as-quenched state. 2) Influence of a small additions of transition metals like Mn, Zr and Cr added to Al-Zn-Mg alloys on ageing phenomena was retarding the ageing character. 3) The mechanical properties (hardness and strength) of Al-Zn-Mg alloys which were processed by TMT are increased when the deformation rate is lower than 30%, on the other hand those of Al-Zn-Mg alloys added transition metals were decreased with increasing deformation rate.
