The changes of mean weight, protein and DNA contents of corpus luteum were investigated on day 6, 9, 10, 12 and 13 of pseudopregnancy. And in order to determine the effects of tamoxifen and estradiol-17β, rabbits were injected subcutaneously with 500ug of tamoxifen on day 9, and with 50ug of estradiol-17β on day 12 after priming of 3mg of indomethacin twice a day from day 10 to 11 of pseudopregnancy, respectively. Mean weight of corpus luteum was significantly(P$lt;0.01) increased from 10.46±0.59mg on day 6 to 16.30±0.47mg on day 9, and then maintained constantly till day 13 of pseudopregnancy. It was significantly(P$lt;0.01) decreased from 6hr. after tamoxifen injection, but significantly(P$lt;0.01) increased from 6hr. after estradiol-17β injection. Cytoplasmic protein contents of corpus luteum was significantly(P$lt;0.01) increased from 4.25 0.02mg on day 6 to 6.07±0.04mg/ml of cytoplasmic diluent on day 9, and then significantly(P$lt;0. Ol) decreased from day 12 of pseudopregnancy. It was significantly(P$lt;0.01) decreased from 6hr. after tamoxifen injection, but significantly(P$lt;0.01) increased from 3hr. after estradiol-17β injection. Nuclear DNA contents of corpus luteum was not changed during pseudopregnancy, and not affected by tamoxifen or estradiol-17β injection.

In order to investigate the changes of the volume and concentration of electrolytes of the fetal fluid during gestation in Korean native goats, nineteen pregnant goats of 2 to 3 year-old were necropsied. Although the total fetal fluid volume was increased through gestation, the proportion of amniotic fluid to allantoic fluid shifted through the stages of gestation. Allantoic fluid volume was significantly more from 30 to 60 days of pregnancy, thereafter from 80 to 120 days of pregnancy there was no significant difference between the amniotic and allantoic fluid volume, but at parturition allantoic fluid volume was significantly more once again. The consistency of allantoie fluid was watery throughout gestation. However, amniotic fluid was watery until 120 days of pregnancy but became more mucoid and gelatinous at parturition. The sodium concentration of amniotic fluid was not significantly changed during gestation, however, that of allantoic fluid was significantly decreased at parturition. And the sodium concentration of amniotic fluid was significantly higher than that of aliantoic fluid from 90 days of pregnancy to parturition. The potassium concentration of amniotic fluid was not significantly changes during gestation, however, that of allantoic fluid was significantly increased from 30 days of pregnancy to parturition. And the potassium concentration of allantoic fluid was significantly higher than that of amniotic fluid throughout gestation except for 60 days of pregnancy. The calcium concentration of amniotic fluid was significantly increased at parturition, however, that of allantoic fluid was significantly decreased at 90 days of pregnancy but was significantly increased from 120 days of pregnancy to parturition. And the calcium concertraticn of allantoic fluid was significantly higher than that of amniotic fluid throughout gestation. The magnesium concentration of amniotic fluid was not significantly changed during gestation, however, that of allantoic fluid was significantly increased from 120 days of pregnancy to parturition. And the magnesium concentration of allantoic fluid was significantly higher than that of amniotic fluid from 120 days of pregnancy to parturition.
