은희경의 「내가 살았던 집」에 나타나는 영화적 기법

        김예니(Kim Ye-Nie) 돈암어문학회 2005 돈암어문학 Vol.- No.18

The strategy of the narrative in the novel of Eun Hi-Kyoung is verified. First, in her text whose character has “the cynical smile” and “the feigned wickedness”, which has the peculiarity that a “focalizer” and “voice” in the text is divided and overlaped. When a focalizer and voice is certainly divided, a focalizer secures the distance with the objectivity and just get a view of the world and the object as well as a character in the text with a view of “the cynical smile” and “the feigned wickedness”. But in the story about the past which is located in the interval of the present time, a focalizer and voice is unjustly divided, or overlaped almost. And throughout this story about the past, A event of the precent which looks meaningless acquires the meaning. At this time, we can realize that the writer is hiding away a restrained desire and thought behind the “the cynical smile”.<br/> Second, the Hard-cut of Montage which appears in the 「The House that I had been」 shows the transformed space made in the memory which looks the object. The arrangement that the past and the present, or difficult stories, or the object and the space stand in a line gives a reader the construable space. At the same time, the meaningless event that happens now has the meaning throughout the memory about the past and a reader can see and feel the space closer than others. Those peculiarities are the modern novel's and film-art's. Eun Hi-Kyoung makes the effect throughout the strategy of the narrative which evokes “the cynical smile” and "the feigned wickedness" that it is made in that a focalizer and voice is divided and overlaped, or situations and shots stand in a line.

      • Anti-Diabetic Medications Do Not Influence Risk of Lung Cancer in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Nie, Shu-Ping,Chen, Hui,Zhuang, Mao-Qiang,Lu, Ming Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.16

Objectives: Several preclinical and observational studies have shown that anti-diabetic medications (ADMs) may modify the risk of lung cancer. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis evaluating the effect of metformin, sulfonylureas (SUs), thiazolidinediones (TZDs), and insulin on the risk of lung cancer in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Materials and Methods: We conducted a systematic search of Pubmed and Web of Science, up to August 20, 2013. We also searched the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) for abstracts from major meetings. Fixed or random effect pooled measures were selected based on heterogeneity among studies, which was evaluated using Q test and the I2 of Higgins and Thompson. Meta-regression was used to explore the sources of between-study heterogeneity. Publication bias was analyzed by Begg's funnel plot and Egger's regression test. Associations were assessed by odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results: A total of 15 studies (11 cohort, 4 case-control) were included in this meta-analysis. In observational studies no significant association between metformin (n=11 studies; adjusted OR=0.99, 95%CI: 0.87-1.12), SUs (n=5 studies; adjusted OR=0.98, 95%CI: 0.79-1.22), or TZDs (n=7 studies; adjusted OR=0.92, 95%CI: 0.75-1.13), insulin (n=6 studies; adjusted OR=1.13, 95%CI: 0.79-1.62) use and risk of developing lung cancer was noted. There was considerable inherent heterogeneity between studies not explained by study design, setting, or location. Conclusions: Meta-analysis of existing studies does not support a protective or harmful association between ADMs use and risk of lung cancer in patients with DM. There was considerable heterogeneity across studies, and future, well-designed, prospective studies would be required for better understanding of any association.

Effect of Age on Energy Requirement for Maintenance and Growth of Dorper and Hu Crossbred F1 Ewes Weighing 20 to 50 kg

        Nie, H.T.,Wan, Y.J.,You, J.H.,Wang, Z.Y.,Lan, S.,Fan, Y.X.,Wang, F. Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2015 Animal Bioscience Vol.28 No.8

This research aimed to define the energy requirement of Dorper and Hu Hybrid $F_1$ ewes 20 to 50 kg of body weight, furthermore to study energy requirement changes with age and evaluate the effect of age on energy requirement parameters. In comparative slaughter trial, thirty animals were divided into three dry matter intake treatments (ad libitum, n = 18; low restricted, n = 6; high restricted, n = 6), and were all slaughtered as baseline, intermediate, and final slaughter groups, to calculate body chemical components and energy retained. In digestibility trial, twelve ewes were housed in individual metabolic cages and randomly assigned to three feeding treatments in accordance with the design of a comparative slaughter trial, to evaluate dietary energetic values at different feed intake levels. The combined data indicated that, with increasing age, the net energy requirement for maintenance ($NE_m$) decreased from $260.62{\pm}13.21$ to $250.61{\pm}11.79kJ/kg^{0.75}$ of shrunk body weight (SBW)/d, and metabolizable energy requirement for maintenance (MEm) decreased from $401.99{\pm}20.31$ to $371.23{\pm}17.47kJ/kg^{0.75}$ of SBW/d. Partial efficiency of ME utilization for maintenance ($k_m$, 0.65 vs 0.68) and growth ($k_g$, 0.42 vs 0.41) did not differ (p>0.05) due to age; At the similar condition of average daily gain, net energy requirements for growth ($NE_g$) and metabolizable energy requirements for growth ($ME_g$) for ewes during late fattening period were 23% and 25% greater than corresponding values of ewes during early fattening period. In conclusion, the effect of age upon energy requirement parameters in the present study were similar in tendency with previous recommendations, values of energy requirement for growth ($NE_g$ and $ME_g$) for Dorper and Hu crossbred female lambs ranged between the NRC (2007) recommendation for early and later maturating growing sheep.

      • Coupling of Lever Arm Swing and Biased Brownian Motion in Actomyosin

        Nie, Qing-Miao,Togashi, Akio,Sasaki, Takeshi N.,Takano, Mitsunori,Sasai, Masaki,Terada, Tomoki P. Public Library of Science 2014 PLoS computational biology Vol.10 No.4

<▼1><P>An important unresolved problem associated with actomyosin motors is the role of Brownian motion in the process of force generation. On the basis of structural observations of myosins and actins, the widely held lever-arm hypothesis has been proposed, in which proteins are assumed to show sequential structural changes among observed and hypothesized structures to exert mechanical force. An alternative hypothesis, the Brownian motion hypothesis, has been supported by single-molecule experiments and emphasizes more on the roles of fluctuating protein movement. In this study, we address the long-standing controversy between the lever-arm hypothesis and the Brownian motion hypothesis through <I>in silico</I> observations of an actomyosin system. We study a system composed of myosin II and actin filament by calculating free-energy landscapes of actin-myosin interactions using the molecular dynamics method and by simulating transitions among dynamically changing free-energy landscapes using the Monte Carlo method. The results obtained by this combined multi-scale calculation show that myosin with inorganic phosphate (Pi) and ADP weakly binds to actin and that after releasing Pi and ADP, myosin moves along the actin filament toward the strong-binding site by exhibiting the biased Brownian motion, a behavior consistent with the observed single-molecular behavior of myosin. Conformational flexibility of loops at the actin-interface of myosin and the N-terminus of actin subunit is necessary for the distinct bias in the Brownian motion. Both the 5.5–11 nm displacement due to the biased Brownian motion and the 3–5 nm displacement due to lever-arm swing contribute to the net displacement of myosin. The calculated results further suggest that the recovery stroke of the lever arm plays an important role in enhancing the displacement of myosin through multiple cycles of ATP hydrolysis, suggesting a unified movement mechanism for various members of the myosin family.</P></▼1><▼2><P><B>Author Summary</B></P><P>Myosin II is a molecular motor that is fueled by ATP hydrolysis and generates mechanical force by interacting with actin filament. Comparison among various myosin structures obtained by X-ray and electron microscope analyses has led to the hypothesis that structural change of myosin in ATP hydrolysis cycle is the driving mechanism of force generation. However, single-molecule experiments have suggested an alternative mechanism in which myosin moves stochastically in a biased direction along actin filament. Computer simulation serves as a platform for assessing these hypotheses by revealing the prominent features of the dynamically changing landscape of actin-myosin interaction. The calculated results show that myosin binds to actin at different locations of actin filament in the weak- and strong-binding states and that the free energy has a global gradient from the weak-binding site to the strong-binding site. Myosin relaxing into the strong-binding state therefore necessarily shows the biased Brownian motion toward the strong-binding site. Lever-arm swing is induced during this relaxation process; therefore, lever-arm swing and the biased Brownian motion are coupled to contribute to the net displacement of myosin. This coupling should affect the dynamical behaviors of muscle and cardiac systems.</P></▼2>

        Nie Yang,Ge Hua,Jing Li-li 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.5

The design of high-speed sampling rate converter in multi-rate system is a very complicated problem. The traditional development flow is not simply low efficiency, and but also is difficult to implementation. This paper presents a development flow by model-based design to simplify the design process, to improve work efficiency. Sampling rate converter is designed by a hybrid scheme using polyphase filter and Farrow filter structure. Through the development flow of model-based design, circuit modeling is very easy to do, and the RTL code and test code are automatically generated. The simulation results show that this method can greatly reduce the system consumption and promote the performance of the system.

      • Model-Based Design Methodology for Digital Up and Down Conversion of Software Defined Radio

        Nie Yang,Ge Hua,Jing Li-li,Zhao Peng-yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.4

This paper proposes an efficient implementation of digital up and down conversion for Software Defined Radio (SDR) using Model-Based Design (MBD). In particular, a novel flow for designing digital up and down conversion is detailed. Using MBD, a system model is at the center of the development process, from requirement development, through design, implementation, and testing. Using MBD, code can be automatically generated for system and create test benches for system verification, which is saving time and avoiding the introduction of manually coded errors. Design example shows that the proposed method can greatly reduce the complexity of digital up and down conversion while providing the efficient and reliability of design flow.

      • Measurement Matrix Construction Algorithm for Compressed Sensing based on QC-LDPC Matrix

NIE Yang,JING Li-li 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.2

The measurement matrix of compressed sensing has a significant impact for sampling and reconstruction algorithm of the original signal. At present, the majority of the measurement matrix is randomly constructed, and it is difficulty for hardware implementation in the practical applications. In this paper, we use the sparse characteristic of parity- check matrix of LDPC codes, construct measurement matrix based on QC-LDPC (Quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check) matrix, which is a structural and sparse deterministic measurement matrix. The simulation results show that, the measurement matrix is proposed in this paper not only can obtain a better reconstructed image quality, but also it can reduce the complexity of hardware implementation for quasi-cyclic.

      • Research on Nonlinear Vibration Characteristics of Spiral Bevel Gear

        Nie Junfeng,Yu Guangbin,Song Ye,Qu Zhigang,Zheng Minli,Zhao Xingfu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.2

Based on the concentrated parameters theory, a 7-freedom coupled vibration dynamic model of the spiral bevel gear transmission system is established, which includes transmission error, time-varying mesh stiffness and the tooth backlash clearance. In the model, the axial vibration, the torsion oscillation of the gear pair aroused by tooth meshing force and the lateral oscillations resulting from flexional deformation of the gear shaft are taken into account. The mesh stiffness fluctuation is developed as 5-order Fourier series and the tooth backlash clearance is fitted by 7-order polynomial function. Through the Gear method, the dynamic response of the system is obtained, and the vibration characteristics are analyzed.

      • Algorithm for Registering Point Cloud Data with Quadratic Surfaces

Nie Jianhui 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.10

Data registration is a common operation in object digitalization. This paper proposes an algorithm for registering point cloud data with such quadratic surfaces as planes and cylinders. In the proposed algorithm, the variation of neighboring points’ normal vectors are utilized to detect data that is located at the intersection of different quadratic surfaces, which is then deleted from the point clouds. Next, region segmentation is done on remaining point clouds through the growth algorithm, and feature descriptors are created for each detected quadratic surface. Finally, rough registration of data is achieved via matching of feature descriptors, and then fine registration is achieved by optimizing rough registration results through the ICP algorithm. Experimental results show that the algorithm is insensitive to outliers, has low requirements on the original poses of data and that its registration success rate is higher than that of the original ICP algorithm.

        Nie, Chengrong,Yang, Xing,Niazi, Nabeel Khan,Xu, Xiaoya,Wen, Yuhui,Rinklebe, Jö,rg,Ok, Yong Sik,Xu, Song,Wang, Hailong Elsevier 2018 CHEMOSPHERE - Vol.200 No.-

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In the current study, we conducted a field experiment using the test plant, <I>Brassica chinesis</I> L. (pak choi), to investigate the effect of sugarcane bagasse-derived biochar on the bioavailability of cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) and lead (Pb), and the health of soil microbiota in a contaminated soil. Biochar application significantly (<I>P</I> < 0.05) increased pak choi yield. Bioavailability of heavy metals to plant shoots and roots decreased with increasing biochar application rates (at 0, 1.5, 2.25 and 3.0 t ha−1). Sequential extraction of the biochar-treated and -untreated soil revealed that exchangeable Cd reduced whereas organically-bound fraction increased with increasing biochar rate. The labile fractions of Cu and Pb decreased, but the residual fraction increased in biochar-treated soils compared to the control. Urease, catalase and invertase activities, and the populations of bacteria and actinomycetes were significantly enhanced, whereas fungi population declined in biochar-treated soils. This study highlights that sugarcane bagasse biochar has the potential to support the remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals, and as such can improve the yield and quality of agricultural crops.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Sugarcane bagasse biochar amendment reduced availability of Cd, Cu and Pb in soils. </LI> <LI> Heavy metals were less labile in the biochar-treated soils. </LI> <LI> Biochar amendment induced an increase in soil enzyme and microbial activity. </LI> <LI> Edible part of pak choi was safer for human consumption after biochar amendment. </LI> </UL> </P>
