        WHEEL SLIP CONTROL WITH MOVING SLIDING SURFACE FOR TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM

        This paper describes a robust and fast wheel slip tracking control using a moving sliding surface technique. A traction control system (TCS) is the active safety system used to prevent the wheel slipping and thus improve acceleration performance, stability and steerability on slippery roads through the engine torque and/or brake torque control. This paper presents a wheel slip control for TCS through the engine torque control. The proposed controller can track a reference input wheel slip in a predetermined time. The design strategy investigated is based on a moving sliding surface that only contains the error between the reference input wheel slip and the actual wheel slip. The used moving sliding mode was originally designed to ensure that the states remain on a sliding surface, thereby achieving robustness and eliminating chattering. The improved robustness in driving is important due to changes, such as from dry road to wet road or vice versa which always happen in working conditions. Simulations are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed moving sliding mode controller.

      • 隨筆 "窓"과 "나무"의 構文的 比較考察

        The traditional literary criticism was confined to the substantial theory, but nowadays it requires to need the scientific method to testify the theory into a form. As there is no essay considered in scientific method and no research based on a form now in our country, the writer tried to do the study based on a form. As for its method, by making clear the form of a long sentence-construction by the capability of on empty word in the view of a syntactic situaton, and throngh analysing the kind of sentences, clauses and sentence-components in the view of a structural (grammatical) situation, the writer wanted to consider the structural features of the two essays. And the following results was obtains. 1.the capability of the empty words is equal to the unity which is making progress the context. 2.When the empty words are classified, they are pronouns, unconjugating adjectives and adverbs. Besides, judging from their functions, is certain that there must he only two kinds : one is an indicators empty-word, the other is a relative one. 3.As the essay "Chang" has many empty-words and variety, it is composed of complicated sentence forms. On the contrary the essay "Namu" has little relative-adverbs, so we are sure that it is composed of simple sentence forms. 4.A common feature of the essays "Chang" and "Namu" is in the fact that they contain more than 50-to% of modifiers and many modificative clauses, with the results that both of them are composed of sentences which contain many 抱有文. This seems apparantly to specify the formal characteristic as literary works of the essays. 5.We can know that the contrast-clauses and the subordordinate clauses are only minimum in the fact that the simple sentence "B" in whieh the predicative is sepeated forms the half of the whole sentences in the essay "Namu", and 抱有文 forms more than the half of the whole sentences in the essay "Chang". That's a structural form of non-critical, non-editorial sentences. 6.As the essay "Chang" contains mamy main-sententences and unconjugating adjective clauses, it is a structural form to make a situation set up a subject as compared with the essay "Namu" has simple subjects ahetorical predicatives. 7.As the simbols like "Trees posses virture" are extended all over the sentences, the essay "Namu" has a phenomenon in which the subject appears simple.

        This study was to compare and analyze the bonus point of difficulty and connection skill of the various parallel bars and horizontal bar on north and south Korean gymnasts who participated the 2001 Peking Universiade gymnastic competitions(the 1st event: team competition). From those results, the following conclusions were drawn. 1.Parallel bars On the bonus point, north korean gymnasts showed 28 points, but south korean gymnasts showed 18 points. And on connection skill point, north korean showed 0,7 points but south korean gymnasts showed 0.6 points. Therefore gymnasts should develop and master the skill in motion on bar for obtaining the high bonus point. Especially it should be considered that the acquirement of Giant Swing should be improved the skill in connection to high difficulty. 2.Horizontal bar On the bonus point, north korean gymnasts showed 22 points, but south korean gymnasts showed 24 points. And on connection skill point, north korean showed 0,8 points but south korean gymnasts showed 0.3 points. Therefore gymnasts should develop and master El-grip skill by turn skill and improve the connection skill of various release portions.

        본 연구에서는 노후교량 바닥판 대체용으로 단품(Modular) GFRP 바닥판 구조에 대한 거동분석을 실험을 통행 실시하였다. 그 바닥판의 성능평가로서 축소모형(1/5)의 시험편 3개에 대한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 시험편은 박스튜브를 갖는 샌드위치 판이다. 교량바닥판의 구성재료는 유리섬유와 에폭시 레진이다. 모든 시험편에 대한 실험결과로서 최대강도, 강성 및 변형능력으로 나타내었다. 실험적 결과의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 유한요소해석을 하여 비교하였다. The behaviour of Modular GFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers) decks for use in deteriorated bridge decks replacement are investigated experimentally in this study. As for the performance evaluation of bridge decks, experimental studies on the 3 test specimens with 1/5 scale of full size were carried out. Three specimens were sandwich plates with box tube cores. The constituents of bridge decks were glass fiber preforms and epoxy resin. The experimental results of all the specimens were summarized for maximum strength, stiffness and deformation capacity. A finite element analyses were compared to verify validity of experimental results.

        안드로이드 시스템에 zRAM 적용에 대한 성능 분석

        안드로이드 시스템은 NAND플래시 메모리를 저장매체로 사용하기 때문에 스왑(Swap)기능을 지원하지 않는다. NAND 플래시 메모리는 낮은 삭제 성능과 덮어쓰기 기능의 부재로 인해 빈번한 데이터 교환에 취약하다. 또한, 잦은 삭제와 쓰기 연산은, NAND 플래시 메모리의 수명을 단축시킨다. 스왑은 사용 가능한 메모리 양의 증가를 위해 빈번한 스왑-인/아웃을 발생시키기 때문에 NAND 플래시 메모리에 적합하지 않다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 시스템에서의 스왑 기능 제공을 위해 NAND 플래시와 같은 외부 저장매체의 사용 없이 RAM의 일정부분을 스왑 저장소로 사용하는 zRAM을 구현한다. 또한, 단일 및 멀티 테스킹 환경에서 기존 안드로이드 시스템의 non-Swap 방식과 비교 실험한다. 이를 통해, 각 프로세스 당 가용 메모리양의 증가와 메모리 부족으로 인한 프로세스의 Kill count의 감소를 보인다. Android for embedded systems does not support a swap mechanism because Android systems use NAND flash memory for a storage. The NAND flash memory has low performance of erase operation and the absence of rewrite operation so that it is not suitable for frequent data replacement, such as swap. In addition, frequent write and erase operations reduce the life time of the NAND flash memory. Thus, swap is inappropriate for NAND flash memory because it causes frequent swap-in/out when the system memory is shortage. Therefore, this paper implements zRAM for the Android system that uses main memory (RAM) for a swap storage without an external storage such as NAND flash memory. Moreover, this paper presents the available memory size of each process and the number of killed processes, through comparison with the non-swap mechanism of the previous Android.
