The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among trunk muscle, knee, and ankle strengths using Cybex770, the isokinetic muscle functioning measurement device. 41 K and Y University soccer players who did not have any experience about back pain or spine surgery were recruited as subjects. The results of the study were as follows. 1. Trunk extension was significantly higher than trunk flexion and muscle strength was diminished with increasing load speed. 2. Trunk flexion/extension ratio was well balanced at 30。/sec but this balance was broken with increasing load speed. 3. At 60。/sec of load speed, the knee extension and flexion of the left side were higher than those of the right side. 4. At 60。/sec of load speed, the ipsilateral muscle strengths of the left knee were well balanced but those of the right side were imbalanced. 5. At 60。/sec of load spped, the ratio of bilateral muscle strength of knee was -18.5±32.3% and this implies the possibility of knee injury. 6. Plantalflexion and dorsiflexion of the right ankle were higher than those of the left side, and dorsiflexion/plantalflexion ratio of the left side was higher than that of the right side. 7. The ratio of bilateral muscle strength of ankle at 60。/sec of load speed represented a balanced muscle development but this balance was broken with increasing load speed.8. There were partially significant relationships between trunk muscle and knee strengths. and between knee and ankle strengths. In conclusion, the trunk muscle strength of soccer player might be a very important factor to improve performance. In addition. a training technique which considering strength and speed is needed to develop not static but dynamic strength. This training not only develops well balanced muscle strength but also protects sport injury. Thus, the isokinetic training of trunk could improve the trunk muscle strength. and increase the ability of flexion/extension of knee and ankle.

Objective : Our retrospective study aimed to determine whether 16-slice computerized tomography (CT) angiography optimized sharp kernel is suitable for the evaluation of visibility, luminal patency and re-stenosis of intracranial stents in comparison with conventional angiography. Methods : Fifteen patients with symptomatic intracranial stenotic lesions underwent balloon expandable stent deployment of these lesions (10 middle cerebral arteries, 2 intracranial vertebral arteries, and 3 intracranial internal carotid arteries). CT angiography follow-up ranged from 6 to 15 months (mean follow-up, 8 months) after implantation of intracranial stents and conventional angiography was confirmed within 2 days. Curved multiplanar reformations with maximal intensity projection (MIP) with optimal window settings for assessment of lumen of intracranial stents were evaluated for visible lumen diameter, stent patency (contrast distal to the stent as an indirect sign), and re-stenosis by two experienced radiologists who blinded to the reports from the conventional angiography. Results : All of stents deployed into symptomatic stenotic lesions. All stents were classified as patent and no re-stenosis, which was correlated with results of conventional angiography. Parts of the stent lumen could be visualized in all cases. On average, 57% of the stent lumen diameter was visible using optimized sharp kernel. Significant improvement of lumen visualization (22%, p<0.01) was observed using the optimized sharp kernel compared with the standard sharp kernel. Inter-observer agreements on the measurement of lumen diameter and density were judged as good, respectively (p<0.05). Conclusion : Sixteen-slice CT using the optimized sharp kernel may provide a useful information for evaluation of lumen diameter patency, and re-stenosis of intracranial stents.
16열 CT angiography를 이용한 뇌내동맥 stent의 개통성 및 재협착 평가

목적: 16열 CT를 이용한 CT angiography 가 뇌내동맥내 스텐트의 개통성가 재협착 여부를 평가하는데 유용한지를 평가하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 7개의 뇌내동맥내에 스텐트를 설치한 총 7명의 환자에서 16열 CT를 스텐트를 설치한 후 6개월 후에 시행하였으며, MIP를 이용한 curved MPR기법을 최적의 window setting를 이용하여 재구성하였다. 두 명의 방사선과 의사가 CT촬영 후 이틀 후 시행한 고식적 혈관촬영술의 결과를 모른 채 stent의 개통성과 재협착여부를 평가하였다. 결과: CT의 결과는 모든 스텐트에 개통성이 있고, 재협착이 없는 것이었으며, 이것은 고식적 혈관촬영술에서 확인되었다. 또한 스텐트 내부는 최적의 kernel 값을 적용했을 때 잘 평가할 수 있었다. 결론: 최적의 kernel 값으로 측정 한 16열 CT angiography는 뇌내 동맥내 스텐트의 개통성과 재협착 여부를 평가하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. CT was performed on a 16-slice scanner (Simens Medical Solutions, Forchheim, Germany, detector collimation 16x0.75 mm; table feed 2.8 mm/rotation, 370 mAs; 120 kVp; reconstruction with standard and optimized sharp kernel), following implantation of intracranial stents at least in 6 months and conventional angiography was performed in 2 days as a standard reference. Curved multiplanar reformations with maximal intensity projection (MIP) with optimal window settings for assessment of lumen of intracranial stents were evaluated for stent patency (contrast distal to the stent as an indirect sign) and visible lumen diameter by two experienced radiologists who blinded to the reports from the conventional angiography. Results: All stents were correctly classified as patent and no in-stent stenosis, which was correctly correlated with results of conventional angiography. Parts of the stent lumen could be visualized in all cases. On average, 57% of the stent lumen diameter was visible using optimized sharp kernel. Significant improvement of lumen visualization (22%, P<0.01) was observed using the optimized sharp kernel compared with the standard sharp kernel. Conclusion: 16-slice CT using the dedicated sharp kernel might provide the useful information for evaluation of patency and lumen diameter of intracranial stents.

Foreign body injections into breasts may produce foreign body reactions, fibrosis, and local swelling of involved lymph nodes, which can be misdiagnosed as metastasis or malignancy. Here, the authors report MR imaging, PET-CT imaging, and pathologic findings of contralateral internal mammary lymphadenopathy suspicious of breast cancer metastasis in a 58-year-old woman with history of left breast cancer, and previous interstitial mammoplasty by paraffin injection in both breasts.

Ni/YSZ $(Y_2O_3-stabilized\;ZrO_2)$ composite as an electrode component for High Temperature Electrolysis (HTE) was fabricated by mechanical alloying method using Ni and YSZ powders. Characterization of the synthesized composite was investigated with various analysis tools, including XRD, SEM and PSA, and a self-supporting planar unit cell prepared with the Ni/YSZ composite was prepared to study the electrochemical reactions for the production of hydrogen. The Ni/YSZ cermet is composed of crystalline Ni and YSZ, in a sub-micro scale, and has an even distribution without aggregated particles. In addition, under an electrochemical reaction, the unit cell showed an $H_2$ evolution rate from steam of 14 Nml/min and $600mA/cm^2$ of current density at the electrode.
