Fingerprint patterns of 333 schizophreniacs who met with the diagnostic criterias of International Pilot Study of Schizophrenia except items associated with chronicity in exclusion criteria were studied, and the following results were obtained. 1. The frequency distribution of the fingerprint patterns in the 333 schizophreniacs was ulnar loop, whorl, twinned loop, arch, radial loop in order in both control and schizophrenia groups. 2. Finger ridge counts of both sexes were decreased significantly in schizophrenia group. 3. Dissociation of fingerprint pattern in the schizophrenia group was 51.1%, which was far greater than 6.25% of control group. Number of dissociation was greatest in the thumb, followed by index, middle, ring, and little finger in order. According to the above results, it is considered that both the number of finger ridges and degree of dissociation of fingerprint patterns were closely related with schizophrenia. Analysis of fingerprints and palmprints with the aid of chromosomal analysis would contribute the early diagnosis and prevention of schizophrenia.
토끼에서 Etofenprox와 Spinosad 합제의 국소자극성 시험

This study was performed to evaluation the skin and eye irritation of etofenprox 8% and spinosad 4% combination in male New Zealand White rabbits. In skin irritation test, the combination of etofenprox and spinosad did not showed any change of body weight but caused slight skin irritation with the P.I.I. (primary irritation index) value 0.25. The etofenprox and spinosad combination showed severe eye irritation 1 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h after ocular treatment, having the A.O.I. (acute ocular irritation) value of 37.3. Therefore, these result indicated that the combination of etofenprox and spinosad might be irritant formulation on eye and skin.

The lab-scale anaerobic continuous reactor which was filled with the sludge of anaerobic digestion from Suyoung wastewater treatment plant was operated by feeding of various concentrations and flow rates. This experiment indicated that more than 6,870 ㎎COD/L of substrate concentration was required to promote good metabolism and growth of anaerobic biomass. And increasing loading rate slowly was also required in order to treat substrate of higher concentration and higher loading rate. The substrate concentration of about 10,000 ㎎COD/L was adequate to generate biogas efficiently. The pH was sharply decreased at the onset of higher loading rate, but the pH was restabilized soon at 8. During the experiment, the amount of the attached biomass was kept constant.
Out-of-plane spin polarization and antiferromagnetic spin Hall effect

The discovery of the spin Hall effect (SHE) enabled the efficient generation and manipulation of the spin current. The magnetic spin Hall effect provides a unique opportunity to control the spin current and relevant device performance with controllable magnetization. In this talk, we report the magnetic spin Hall effect both in non-collinear antiferromagnet Mn<sub>3</sub>Pt and a collinear antiferromagnet Mn<sub>2</sub>Au. We generate tiny out-of-plane polarized spin current (σZ) when the charge current is applied along the axis perpendicular to the magnetic mirror plane of Mn<sub>3</sub>Pt/permalloy bilayers, but robust when the current is parallel to the magnetic mirror plane in all of the Mn<sub>3</sub>Pt films with different orientations. In Mn<sub>2</sub>Au, the spin currents are generated at two spin sublattices with broken spatial symmetry, and the antiparallel antiferromagnetic moments play an important role. Therefore, we term the Néel vector-dependent spin Hal effect the ‘antiferromagnetic spin Hall effect’ (AFM-SHE). The out-of-plane spins from the antiferromagnetic spin Hall effect are favorable for the efficient switching of perpendicular magnetized devices, which is required for high-density applications. The antiferromagnetic spin Hall effect adds another twist to the atomic-level control of spin currents via the antiferromagnetic spin structure.
Research on Identity-based Batch Anonymous Authentication Scheme for VANET

To slove the security and efficiency problem of anonymous authentication in vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET), we adopt the bilinear pairing theory to propose an identity-based batch anonymous authentication scheme for VANET. The tamper-proof device in the on-board unit and the trusted authority jointly realize the anonymity of vehicle identity and the signature of messages, which further enhances the security of this scheme, as well as reduces the overhead of trusted authority. Batch authentication can improve the efficiency of anonymous authentication for VANET. Security and efficiency analyses demonstrate that this scheme not only satisfies such security properties as anonymity, non-forgeability and non-repudiation, but also has advantage in time and space complexity. Simulation results show that this scheme can achieve good performance in real-time VANET communication.
A Trajectory Substitution Privacy Protection Scheme in location-based services

Aimed at the disclosure risk of mobile terminal user’s location privacy in location-based services, a location-privacy protection scheme based on similar trajectory substitution is proposed. On the basis of the anonymized identities of users and candidates who request LBS, this scheme adopts trajectory similarity function to select the candidate whose trajectory is the most similar to user’s at certain time intervals, then the selected candidate substitutes user to send LBS request, so as to protect user’s privacy like identity, query and trajectory. Security analyses prove that this scheme is able to guarantee such security features as anonymity, non-forgeability, resistance to continuous query tracing attack and wiretapping attack. And the results of simulation experiment demonstrate that this scheme remarkably improve the optimal candidate’ trajectory similarity and selection efficiency.

Tylenchulus semipenetrans is an important and widespread plant-parasitic nematode of citrus worldwide and can cause citrus slow decline disease leading to significant reduction in tree growth and yield. Rapid and accurate detection of T. semipenetrans in soil is important for the disease forecasting and management. In this study, a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay was developed to detect T. semipenetrans using DNA extracted from soil. A set of five primers was designed from the internal transcribed spacer region (ITS1) of rDNA, and was highly specific to T. semipenetrans. The LAMP reaction was performed at $63^{\circ}C$ for 60 min. The LAMP product was visualized directly in one reaction tube by adding SYBR Green I. The detection limit of the LAMP assay was $10^{-2}J2/0.5g$ of soil, which was 10 times more sensitive than conventional PCR ($10^{-1}J2/0.5g$ of soil). Examination of 24 field soil samples revealed that the LAMP assay was applicable to a range of soils infested naturally with T. semipenetrans, and the total assay time was less than 2.5 h. These results indicated that the developed LAMP assay is a simple, rapid, sensitive, specific and accurate technique for detection of T. semipenetrans in field soil, and contributes to the effective management of citrus slow decline disease.

<P>The development of n-type polymers and composites to pair with their p-type counterparts in current flexible thermoelectric (TE) generators is crucial to reach the full potential of these devices. However, this development has lagged behind because of difficulties associated with n-type doping of organic semiconductors. Our study focused on the doping characteristics of directly spun carbon nanotube (CNT) webs using various n-type dopants in combination with thermal desorption of oxygen from the CNT web surface for more effective n-type doping. Annealing of the CNT web followed by treatment with 2 mg mL<SUP>−1</SUP>benzyl viologen (BV) resulted in a maximum power factor of 3103 μW m<SUP>−1</SUP>K<SUP>−2</SUP>, which was superior to that of a BV-treated pristine CNT web without thermal annealing (1901 μW m<SUP>−1</SUP>K<SUP>−2</SUP>). This value is the highest among organic TE materials and similar to that of the most promising inorganic material, Bi2Te3at room temperature. In addition to the effect of BV dopants on the electrical properties, the thermal diffusion property of the BV-doped CNT web was analyzed using the finite element method. The dopant coating on the CNT bundle efficiently suppressed the phonon transfer along the CNT web direction, which led to a reduction of the thermal conductivity of the CNT web. As a counterpart for the n-type CNT web, p-type TE materials with a thermal power of 2252 μW m<SUP>−1</SUP>K<SUP>−2</SUP>were also prepared using molecular dopants of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane. Finally, a p-n junction-type TE module with an unprecedented power density of 1.18 mW cm<SUP>−2</SUP>was fabricated based on the development of these competitive n-type TE materials.</P>
A New Dithienopyridine-Based Polymer for an Organic Electronics

<P>A new dithienopyridine-based copolymer (PDT-TBT) was designed and synthesized. The copolymer showed good solubility in chloroform, chlorobenzene, and dichlorobenzene. The thermogravimetric analysis curve showed that the copolymer had good thermal stability with weight loss of less than 5% at 341 degrees C. The UV absorption maximum of the polymer appeared at 550 nm in solution and 600 nm in the film. The HOMO and LUMO of the copolymer were -5.50 eV and -3.63 eV, respectively. The copolymer exhibited the best performance when the PC61BM ratio was 1: 2 (w/w %), with a J(SC) of 3.56 mA/cm(2), a VOC of 0.45 V, an FF of 0.27%, and a PCE of 0.43%. A thin film transistor with PDT-TBT as the active layer showed mobility of 5.02x10(-3) cm(2)/Vs, an on/off ratio of 1.19x10(5) and a threshold voltage of -22.75 V.</P>
