        Awareness of green logistics technology, certification, and standards by logistics practitioners at Chinese e-commerce company, Jing Dong

        This study examined the awareness of the environmental and sustainability impacts of green logistics technologies, standards, and certifications by logistics practitioners at the Chinese e-commerce company, Jing Dong. 309 surveys based on questionnaires were gathered using stratified snowball sampling. They were then encoded and examined through descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and regression techniques. The outcomes indicated that roughly 33 % of the organization’s logistics professionals understand the beneficial effects of logistics operations on the environment, and an equivalent proportion comprehended the significance of sustainable development. Additionally, the classifications of logistics operations and years of industry expertise significantly have influenced various aspects of green logistics technology, standards, and certification. The research also has indicated that the acceptance of green logistics technology is contingent on the backgrounds and classifications of the company’s logistics experts. This suggests that Jing Dong should strengthen the implementation of relevant logistics policies and raise awareness among logistics practitioners regarding green logistics technology, standards, and certification.

        Advanced two-level CMFD acceleration method for the 3D whole-core high-fidelity neutron adjoint transport calculation

        In the 2D/1D method, a global adjoint CMFD based on the generalized equivalence theory is built to synthesize the 2D radial MOC adjoint and 1D axial NEM adjoint calculation and also to accelerate the iteration convergence of 3D whole-core adjoint transport calculation. Even more important, an advanced yet accurate two-level (TL) CMFD acceleration technique is proposed, in which an equivalent one-group adjoint CMFD is established to accelerate the multi-group adjoint CMFD and then to accelerate the 3D whole-core adjoint transport calculation efficiently. Based on these method, a new code is developed to perform 3D adjoint neutron flux calculation. Then a set of VERA and C5G7 benchmark problems are chosen to verify the capability of the 3D adjoint calculations and the effectiveness of TL CMFD acceleration. The numerical results demonstrate that acceptable accuracy of 2D/1D adjoint calculations and superior acceleration of TL CMFD are achievable.

        Effect of defect types in monolayer MoS2 on SO2 adsorption

        As a two-dimensional semiconductor material, molybdenum disulfde (MoS2) is extensively applied to sulfur dioxide (SO2) gas sensor. However, point defects will inevitably be produced in the preparation of MoS2, which signifcantly afect the adsorption properties of MoS2. Thus, understanding the properties of diferent point defects is essential for the successful application of MoS2. In this work, four types of point defects (VS-MoS2, VS2-MoS2, VMoS3-MoS2 and VMoS6-MoS2) of monolayers MoS2 were proposed, and the adsorption characteristics of SO2 on four typical defective MoS2 monolayers were investigated based on frst principles. The adsorption models were established to calculate the electronic properties and adsorption parameters of the adsorption systems. The results show that VMoS6-MoS2 defect has excellent adsorption properties for SO2 due to its largest adsorption energy, charge transfer and electrical response. The obtained results will contribute to the understanding of the efects on the MoS2 monolayers with diferent defects for SO2 sensing application.
