認知機能障碍를 보인 機能性精神障碍 老人患者들의 臨床的 考察 : 器質性精神障碍群과의 對比를 目的으로

In order to compare the differences of the changes of the cognitive function between functional mental disorders with reversible cognitive impairment and organic mental disorders, Mini Mental State Examination and Brief Cognitive Rating Scale were administered in 14 patients with functional mental disorders and 16 patients with organic mental disorders. Their ages were 51 or more in years. The diagnoses of functional mental disorders were as follow ; Affective disorder(10), Schizophrenia(3), Alcohol dependence(1). Patients with functional mental disorders showed less cognitive dysfunction, but more depressive symptoms than patients with organic mental disorders. As the mental symptoms of the patients improved, the cognitive functions improved concomitantly. And patients with functional mental disorders showed more cognitive dysfunctions in concentration, orientation, recall, and recent memory than in remote memory and registration. Orientation and concentratior: scores were important in differentiating between functional mental disorders and organic mental disorders.(Key Words, Functional Mental Disorder, Cognitive Dysfunction, Orientation, Concentration)

N/A The authors measured changes in thyroid stimulating antibody (TSAb) and thyrotropin binding inhibitor immunoglobulin (TBII) in 15 patients with Graves' disease treated with subtotal thyroidectomy. Before surgery all 15 had detectable TBII actvities, and 11 had TSAb activities. During the 12 month postoperative follow-up, TBII disappeared in 7 out of 15, and TSAb disappeared in 6 out of 11. Twelve months after surgery, 10 patients with negative TSAb (including 4 patients whose TSAb activities were negative before surgery) remained in remission, Of 5 patients whose TSAb remained persistently positivie during the 12 month observation period, one remained in remission, two experienced relapse, and two became hypothyroid. In the persistently positive TSAb and TBII group, their activities did not change after surgery. There was no difference in clinical and laboratory findings save for the higher TSAb and TBII activity preoperatively between the persistently positive group and disappearing group. In summary, after subtotal thyroidectomy, TSAb and TBII disappeared in some of the patients. Disappearance of TSAb is associated with remission but persistence of TSAb has no prognostic implication. The production sites of thyrotropin reccptor antibody are thought to be intrathyroidal, but in some patients extrathyroidal production might contribute significantly, due to the pattern of postoperative changes in thyrotropin receptor antibody activities.
수소 연료전지 자동차용 초음파-광섬유 수소감지센서 및 모니터링 시스템 개발

We recently developed a hydrogen detecting sensor based on ultrasonic wave using optical-fiber detecting the hydrogen and monitoring system. This sensor is composed of an optical-fiber and an piezoelectric. Piezoelectric generates and receives ultrasonic wave. And an optical-fiber coated with palladium and platinum. In hydrogen environment, the volume of palladium is expanded because hydrogen were adsorbed in palladium. And the volume of palladium changes the propagation behavior of the ultrasonic wave. And now, we find the changed output signal in comparison with input signal. Furthermore we develop the monitoring system of hydrogen detecting sensor. The hydrogen monitoring system is composed of three part that is ultrasonic optical hydrogen sensor part, data acquisition server part and client part. The monitoring program is provide the concentration of hydrogen gas monitoring and database management, the remote monitoring by the ethernet(TCP/IP) network. As a result of this study, it is confirmed a hydrogen monitoring system based on utrasonic-optical fber is suitable for monitoring the hydrogen gas.

We have developed an aluminum thin plate based hydrogen sensor to detect hydrogen leakage of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle using ultrasonic wave. This sensor consists of a piezoelectric sensor which generates and receive ultrasonic wave, and an aluminum plate coated with palladium and platinum. Ultrasonic wave is guided and propagated through aluminum plate coated with palladium and platinum. In situation of hydrogen leakage, the density of the palladium layer is changed because hydrogen molecules were adsorbed and inflated in palladium. Futhermore, the changed density of the palladium layer causes the change of the propagation behavior of the ultrasonic wave. As a result, the amplitute of output voltage corresponding to that of wave has gradually damped by increased concentration of hydrogen gas. According to this study, it is confirmed the aluminum thin plate based hydrogen sensor is suitable to detect the hydrogen leakage of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.
