<P>We report the discovery of a planetary system from observation of the high-magnification microlensing event OGLE-2012-BLG-0026. The lensing light curve exhibits a complex central perturbation with multiple features. We find that the perturbation was produced by two planets located near the Einstein ring of the planet host star. We identify four possible solutions resulting from the well-known close/wide degeneracy. By measuring both the lens parallax and the Einstein radius, we estimate the physical parameters of the planetary system. According to the best-fit model, the two planet masses are similar to 0.11 M-J and 0.68 M-J and they are orbiting a G-type main-sequence star with a mass similar to 0.82 M-circle dot. The projected separations of the individual planets are beyond the snow line in all four solutions, being similar to 3.8 AU and 4.6 AU in the best-fit solution. The deprojected separations are both individually larger and possibly reversed in order. This is the second multi-planet system with both planets beyond the snow line discovered by microlensing. This is the only such system (other than the solar system) with measured planet masses without sin i degeneracy. The planetary system is located at a distance 4.1 kpc from the Earth toward the Galactic center. It is very likely that extra light from stars other than the lensed star comes from the lens itself. If this is correct, it will be possible to obtain detailed information about the planet host star from follow-up observation.</P>
Direct Reprogramming of Fibroblasts into Neural Stem Cells by Defined Factors

Recent studies have shown that defined sets of transcription factors can directly reprogram differentiated somatic cells to a different differentiated cell type without passing through a pluripotent state, but the restricted proliferative and lineage potential of the resulting cells limits the scope of their potential applications. Here we show that a combination of transcription factors (Brn4/Pou3f4, Sox2, Klf4, c-Myc, plus E47/Tcf3) induces mouse fibroblasts to directly acquire a neural stem cell identity-which we term as induced neural stem cells (iNSCs). Direct reprogramming of fibroblasts into iNSCs is a gradual process in which the donor transcriptional program is silenced over time. iNSCs exhibit cell morphology, gene expression, epigenetic features, differentiation potential, and self-renewing capacity, as well as in vitro and in vivo functionality similar to those of wild-type NSCs. We conclude that differentiated cells can be reprogrammed directly into specific somatic stem cell types by defined sets of specific transcription factors.
Results and Analysis of an Accident in 35-kWh SFES

<P>A 35-kWh superconductor flywheel energy storage (SFES) system using hybrid bearing sets, which is composed of a high-temperature superconductor bearing and an active magnet damper, has been developed in the Korea Electric Power Corporation Research Institute (KEPRI). To keep the flywheel system safe, backup bearings were adapted, and a ball bearing was selected through simulations. The 35-kWh SFES was tested up to 6500 r/min successfully. During rotation tests, there were few accidents. An accident occurred while decreasing speed, at around 4000 r/min. Although the backup bearing was damaged to keep the flywheel system safe, the shaft was also damaged. Contact due to the elongation of the flywheel shaft was considered as the reason for the accident. Some results of the accident are described and analyzed.</P>
TRIM72 negatively regulates myogenesis via targeting insulin receptor substrate-1

Lipid rafts have been known to be platforms to initiate cellular signal transduction of insulin-like growth factor (IGF) inducing skeletal muscle differentiation and hypertrophy. Here, tripartite motif 72 (TRIM72), with a really interesting new gene (RING)-finger domain, a B-box, two coiled-coil domains, and a SPRY (SPla and RYanodine receptor) domain, was revealed to be predominantly expressed in the sarcolemma lipid rafts of skeletal and cardiac muscles. Adenoviral TRIM72 overexpression prevented but RNAi-mediated TRIM72 silencing enhanced C2C12 myogenesis by modulating the IGF-induced insulin receptor substrate-1 (IRS-1) activation through the molecular association of TRIM72 with IRS-1. Furthermore, myogenic activity was highly enhanced with increased IGF-induced Akt activation in the satellite cells of TRIM72<SUP>−/−</SUP> mice, compared to those of TRIM72<SUP>+/+</SUP> mice. Because TRIM72 promoter analysis shows that two proximal E-boxes in TRIM72 promoter were essential for MyoD- and Akt-dependent TRIM72 transcription, we can conclude that TRIM72 is a novel antagonist of IRS-1, and is essential as a negative regulator of IGF-induced muscle differentiation.
MOA-2010-BLG-073L: AN M-DWARF WITH A SUBSTELLAR COMPANION AT THE PLANET/BROWN DWARF BOUNDARY

<P>We present an analysis of the anomalous microlensing event, MOA-2010-BLG-073, announced by the Microlensing Observations in Astrophysics survey on 2010 March 18. This event was remarkable because the source was previously known to be photometrically variable. Analyzing the pre-event source light curve, we demonstrate that it is an irregular variable over timescales >200 days. Its dereddened color, (V - I)(S),(0), is 1.221 +/- 0.051 mag, and from our lens model we derive a source radius of 14.7 +/- 1.3 R-circle dot, suggesting that it is a red giant star. We initially explored a number of purely microlensing models for the event but found a residual gradient in the data taken prior to and after the event. This is likely to be due to the variability of the source rather than part of the lensing event, so we incorporated a slope parameter in our model in order to derive the true parameters of the lensing system. We find that the lensing system has a mass ratio of q = 0.0654 +/- 0.0006. The Einstein crossing time of the event, t(E) = 44.3 +/- 0.1 days, was sufficiently long that the light curve exhibited parallax effects. In addition, the source trajectory relative to the large caustic structure allowed the orbital motion of the lens system to be detected. Combining the parallax with the Einstein radius, we were able to derive the distance to the lens, D-L = 2.8 +/- 0.4 kpc, and the masses of the lensing objects. The primary of the lens is an M-dwarf with M-L,M-1 = 0.16 +/- 0.03 M-circle dot, while the companion has M-L,M-2 = 11.0 +/- 2.0 M-J, putting it in the boundary zone between planets and brown dwarfs.</P>

In 1992, authors experienced 1 case of a 40-yearold Korean man infected with Capillaria philippinensis, who had travel history to known epidemic area, Indonesia Bali Island. He suffered from abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, loss of weight and appetite for 11/2 months. The fecal examination revealed a few elliptical eggs of 43.2 x 22.4 f.1ID in size, with a striated shell bipolar mucoid plugs. Treatment with Albendazole 800 mg per day for 30 days result in clinical and parasitological cure. Especially this case is stressed that possibility of wide distribution of C. philippinensis caused by raw fish and brackish fish eating in Korea. This report is the 2nd record~. ``i case of C. Philippinensis in Korea.

<P>Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is a major cause of the sporadic form of intractable focal epilepsies that require surgical treatment. It has recently been reported that brain somatic mutations in MTOR account for 15%-25% of FCD type II (FCDII), characterized by cortical dyslamination and dysmorphic neurons. However, the genetic etiologies of FCDII-affected individuals who lack the MTOR mutation remain unclear. Here, we performed deep hybrid capture and amplicon sequencing (read depth of 100 x-20,012 x) of five important mTOR pathway genes-PIK3CA, PIK3R2, AKT3, TSC1, and TSC2-by using paired brain and saliva samples from 40 FCDII individuals negative for MTOR mutations. We found that 5 of 40 individuals (12.5%) had brain somatic mutations in TSC1 (c.64C>T [p.Arg22Trp] and c.610C>T [p.Arg204Cys]) and TSC2 (c.4639G>A [p.Va11547I1e]), and these results were reproducible on two different sequencing platforms. All identified mutations induced hyperactivation of the mTOR pathway by disrupting the formation or function of the TSC1TSC2 complex. Furthermore, in utero CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing of Tsc1 or Tsc2 induced the development of spontaneous behavioral seizures, as well as cytomegalic neurons and cortical dyslamination. These results show that brain somatic mutations in TSC1 and TSC2 cause FCD and that in utero application of the CRISPR-Cas9 system is useful for generating neurodevelopmental disease models of somatic mutations in the brain.</P>

In this paper, the authors propose a new high performance Built-in Type spindle motor drive using vector-controlled technique at 15,000 r/min. Control method is changed by variation of motor speed in a conventional Built-in type spindle drive. In the drive system to be presented, the conventional vector control is used in the low-speed range, and the vector control without encoder IS used in the high-speed range. A Case of main pulmonary artery aneurysm in a 9-year-old boy with patent ductus arteriosus is presented. In this case presented with a huge mass density on the chest X-ray, radionuclide cardiac angiography showed a vascular lesion, which was confirmed as an aneurysm of the main pulmonary artery at roentgenologic angiogram. The aneurysm appeared following an episode of bacterial endocarditis and pulmonary hypertension. A successfu1 aneurysmectomy with multiple ligation of ductus arteriosus was performed.

The alumina nano powders synthesized by levitational gas condensation (LGC) method were applied to catalyst in manufacturing process of Hanzsch reaction for Nitrendipine. The L-tartaric acid on the surface is carried out with participation of carbonyl fragments, O-H, C-H bonds which affects stereo selectivity, yield on the reagents positively. From the analysis of the IR-spectroscopy, the carbonyl fragments, O-H, and C-H bond were created by the catalytic reaction. From the analysis of the rR-spectroscopy, the carbonyl fragments, O-H, and C-H bond were created by the catalytic reaction. The newly created bonds made a chiral center on the final product.
