In order for recent manufacturing to meet customer demand in the complex production environments, many conditions need to be satisfied. In such environments of the increased order requirements of the production, the frequent change of the production process may occur. With current production technology, it is difficult to prepare an exact process plan due to the uncertain customer demand. In this paper, we develop a method to prepare a production process by utilizing artificial neural network (ANN) to classify the process into a cluster group considering the various requirements. As a result, we expect that it can contribute to improving the efficiency of real steel manufacturing company, of which we will show a case study.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effective lumbar area exercise program to prevent falls of the elderly by dividing 14 female elders over 65 living in Daegu into two groups such as resistance exercise group and resistance & stabilization exercise group, and applying a 60 minute exercise program three times a week for 12 weeks. The followings are the results. First, both of resistance exercise and resistance & stabilization exercise brought improvement of lumbar strength and there was no significant difference between two groups. Second, there was no significant difference in lower limb strength in resistance exercise group but resistance & stabilization exercise group showed significant increase in lower limb flexor strength. To make a summary of the above results, it can be said that 12 weeks’ resistance & stabilization exercise is effective to the lumbar strength and lower limb strength of the elderly. Accordingly, if combining resistance exercise and stabilization exercise appropriately, we can build a successful preventive program which even the elderly who cannot perform resistance exercise easily can follow.
면봉산 일대의 산림군집분류 및 임분구조 특성 -경북대학교 청송학술림을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 경북대학교 청송학술림이 속한 면봉산 일대 임분구조의 특성을 분석하여 학술림의 효과적인 산림경영 및 보전을 위한 생태적 데이터베이스를 마련하기 위하여 실시하였다. 클러스터분석 결과 총 6개의 군집으로 분류되었다(신갈나무-소나무 군집, 소나무 군집, 까치박달 군집, 물푸레나무-고로쇠나무-당단풍나무 군집, 신갈나무-굴참나무 군집, 신갈나무 군집). 중요치 분석결과 소나무군락은 능선부에, 신갈나무군락은 사면부, 물푸레나무, 당단풍나무, 고로쇠나무, 까치박달 등은 계곡부에 주로 우점하고 있다. 종풍부도 분석결과 까치박달 군집, 물푸레나무-고로쇠나무-당단풍나무 군집, 북사면, 계곡부가 높은 수치를 기록하였으며, 해발고도가 높을수록, 경사가 급할수록 종풍부도가 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. NMS분석 결과, 상층과 중층, 관목층과 초본층 모두 종풍부도의 영향을 받은 것으로 분석되었다. This study was conducted to set up ecological database for effective forest management and conservation of KNU Research Forest in Mt. Myeonbong with the characteristic analysis of stand structures. Following the results of clustering analysis, they were classified under 6 communities (Quercus mongolica-Pinus densiflora, Pinus densiflora, Carpinus cordata, Fraxinus rhynchophylla-Acer pseudosieboldianum-Acer pictum subsp. Mono, Quercus mongolica-Quercus variabilis, Quercus mongolica). Importance value tests were estimated that on ridge; Pinus densiflora, valley; Carpinus cordata, Fraxinus rhynchophylla-Acer pseudosieboldianum-Acer pictum subsp. Mono were recorded dominant species. Carpinus cordata and Fraxinus rhynchophylla-Acer pseudosieboldianum- Acer pictum subsp. Mono community, north aspect and valley were investigated high species richness value. It was showed decreasing tendency as altitude and degree of slope were high. Results of NMS, upper & middle layers and shrub & herbal layers were influenced by species richness and the case of species association.

This study was conducted to analyze community structure and species composition of Abies koreana forest. Field survey was carried out from June, 2019 to 2020, September. 121 plots (20×20 m) were set up, 5 herb layer plots (3×3 m) were constructed for each plot, and there, Diameter at Breast Height(DBH), height, environmental factor were measured. It was analyzed that water stress did not have a significant effect on the factors affecting the growth of A. koreana in Mt. Halla-san, and in the case of Mt. Deokyu-san, the more forest stands located at the ridge, the higher the tree density. It was found that the factors affecting the distribution of Abies koreana were not consistent according to the environment of study site.
Electrocaloric effect of K(Ta,Nb)O3/BaTiO3 multilayer thin films prepared by sol-gel method

KTN/BT multilayer films were fabricated using the sol-gel method and the spin coating method. The average thickness of thesingle-coated film was about 62 to 67 nm and the average grain size was about 92 to 95 nm. TEM analysis made it possibleto observe a clear image difference between the KTN layer and BT layer due to the difference in composition and crystalstructure. As the number of coatings increased, the dielectric constant increased and the Curie temperature increased. The6-layer KTN/BT multilayer film exhibited the highest dielectric constant of about 2530 at a transition temperature of 26 °C. The 6-layer KTN/BT multilayer films showed a remanent polarization and a coercive field of 9.2 μC/cm2 and 91 kV/cm,respectively, at around room temperature. The ΔT and ΔT/ΔE of the 5-layer KTN/BT multilayer film with an applied electricfield of 150 kV/cm were 0.72 K and 4.8 mK·cm/kV, respectively, at around room temperature.

Heterolayered potassium tantalate niobate(KTN(70/30)/KTN(30/70)) thin films on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates prepared by the solgelprocess and spin coating method. When sintered at 700 oC or higher, the X-ray diffraction intensities of the perovskitephase were greatly increased, and it was observed as the main phase of the KTN heterolayered thin film. As the sinteringtemperature increased from 650 oC to 800 oC, the average grain size increased from 146nm to 380 nm, and the averagethickness of the KTN films coated six times was about 394-441 nm. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the KTN filmsintered at 750 oC and room temperature showed good properties of about 2850 and 0.573, respectively, and all films exhibitedthe typical dielectric relaxation characteristics. The phase transition temperature of KTN thin film was around 12-13 oC. Remanent polarization and the coercive field of KTN film sintered at 750 oC showed excellent properties of 23.98 μC/cm2 and35.41 kV/cm, respectively. Adiabatic temperature changes (ΔT) and electrocaloric strength of the KTN films sintered at 750 oCat 60 oC were 2.67 oC and 0.012 KcmkV-1, respectively.
Jerk-Limited Time-Optimal Reference Trajectory Generation for Robot Actuators

Smooth trajectory generation is crucial for high performance control of actuators in industrial robots. In this article, we implement a simple jerk-limited time-optimal point-to-point reference trajectories for position control of electric motor based actuators. First, we briefly review the jerk-limited reference trajectory generation schemes. Then we simplify an existing result under the assumption that the initial and the final speeds of each reference trajectory are zero. Experimental results are provided to show the validity of the simplified algorithm.
