        석남 이경성(石南 李慶成, 1919-2009)의 뮤지엄 인식과 실천

        The intention of this essay is to give light on Lee Kyung-Sung(1919-2009)’s museum related activities. He was born in Incheon in 1919 when the March First Independence Movement occurred. He had been grown up under the Japanese Imperialism in his youth, and since the age of 26 when he had become the director of Incheon Municipal Museum after gaining independence from Japan, he was solely in the field of museum establishment until his death in 2009. Lee particularly contributed much in establishing the National Museum of Contemporary Art Korea and its process of settlement. What motivated him to be involved in the activities for the museum in Korea where the field was so barren and alien? What was the value he was seeking for while concentrating on the task of museum establishment throughout his whole life? How do his activities in the field associate with the national development of museum system, formation of nation-state and the worldwide development of museum system after the Second World War? These questions are the starting points of this writing. His activities in the field began amid the flow of the Western invasion on the East and Japanese colonization of Korea. Being immersed in ‘the fine art’ was his way of transcending the unfortunate reality of the nation, and therefore working on the issue of museum system became his place of act. As soon as gaining liberation from the Japanese regime, he served as a director of Incheon Municipal Musuem, which is recorded as the nation’s first public museum that was both established and managed by him. After that, Lee worked as a staff in museums of Ehwa Woman’s University and a director of Hongik University respectively. And subsequent to the April 19 Revolution, he derived a conclusion for establishing the National Museum of Contemporary Art Korea ? in 1986, he directed and developed schemes for the settlement of the museum as a director, pioneering a public realm for the fine art in Korean society for the first time. As he set an objective for going beyond the ill-fated Korean historic reality during the modern period, his perception and practice regarding the museum in the field of fine art was first designed to focus on forming ‘subjectivity’ within the formation of nation-state, which was foundered during the colonial era. So the concept of ‘rationalization’, ‘modernization’ and ‘globalization’ were taken into account, paving the road for a public realm in the fine art by the establishment of National Museum of Contemporary Art. In that respect, Lee’s vision and practice for museum establishment was anchored in reality of the time, and his lifelong commitment in the activities were closely related to the task of forming a nation-state. It is doubtlessly the fact that the field he strived for was no one ever stepped into before him during the postwar years in Korea. His task of objective was that of Louvre Museum signifies the symbol of the French Revolution in one hand; and since then the museum contributed to the internalization of the revolutionary spirit, modern museum system in the West function as a project in order to form a nation-state or to overcome the difficulty it faces in other hand. Given that points, Lee’s activities in the field of museum establishment provide interesting comparisons to be explored with the cases. However, what kind of ‘modern fine art’ he actually sought for with the application of ‘rationalization’, ‘modernization’ and ‘globalization’ is still remained as an issue.

        이승택의 ‘비(非)-조각’에 대하여: 기록 사진과 ‘포토-픽쳐’의 틈

        1956년 인체 조각으로 데뷔한 이래 이승택은 조각뿐만 아니라, 드로잉, 회화, 대지예술, 설치, 퍼포먼스, 사진 등 다양한 장르에서 실험적인 활동을 펼쳤다. 그리고 그 실험성은 ‘비조각’ 개념으로 언급되어 왔다. 이승택의 청장년기 작업은 서구 근대 ‘조각’ 개념을 대상으로 한 예술적 실험이라는 점에서 ‘비조각’으로 다루어질 만하다. 그런데 1980년대 이후 그의 실험들은 조각 개념과 무관한 문화인류학적 오브제나 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 삶의 영역들에까지 확장되고 있다. 그런 점에서 후기 작업들까지 아울러 ‘비조각’ 개념 아래 거론할 수 있는지는 의문이다. 조각-비조각 같은 이분법적 접근으로는 재료, 기법 등 매체적 문제나 장르, 제작 연도 같은 기초적인 정보 확정도 어려운 경우가 적지 않다. 예컨대, 설치나 퍼포먼스로 취급된 작품들 중 적지 않은 것들은 재료로 그 기록 사진들을 활용하였을 뿐, 엄밀한 의미에서 기록 사진이 아니라 다만 그 위에 덧칠되거나 콜라주, 몽타주하여 재구성된 이미지들인 경우가 허다한 ‘포토-픽쳐’이다. 따라서 ‘비조각’이라는 단정 아래 논의 해온 이승택의 예술 세계를 그 발생사적 전후 관계, 작품 형식이나 기록에 대한 면밀한 검토를 바탕으로 새롭게 해석해야 할 여지가 적지 않다 Seung-Taek Lee has attracted attention in the Korean art world with experimental artworks, since he made his debut through a sculptural work in 1956. The experimental nature of his work has been referred to as a concept, ‘non-sculpture’ after he contributed his essay, “The origin of my non-sculpture” to a art magazine in 1980. However, the considerable errors are found in the relevant records of his works of art. Sometimes there are so many problematic errors in basic records of his works, especially documentary photography or the records of artwork such as the names, year of production, materials, techniques, size and etc. These errors not only make it difficult to identify the historical context between each works and his interaction with other artists, but also caused great confusion the understanding of his artworks. His performances and installations, which have been active since the 1980s, have been discussed through the photographic images. By the way many of them are not just records of objects or events but have been painted or collaged on photographies. Therefore taking it as an index that dictated actual works and characterizing them as an extension of the concept of ‘sculpture’ or its symmetrical concept ‘non-sculpture’. These Seung-Taek Lee’s photography works should be called his own ‘Photo-Picture’.

        디지털 영상인식 방법을 통한 자세평가 및 운동가동범위 측정시스템 개발

The purpose of this study is development of posture evaluation and Range of Motion(ROM) system by using digital vision analysis method. The results of this study are as follows. First, Scoliosis evaluation through this research measurement system represent 3mm error in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point, 0.7mm error in other point. This mean this research measurement system have a reliability for scoliosis evaluation. Second, for spine line evaluation on high fat subject, we need reconstrection spine line after mesurement for fat thickness in 7 cervical point and deepest lumbar point. Third, In pedioscope error test, it present 0.01848cm in X axis and 0.01757cm in Y axis. This results mean pedioscope have a reliability foot evaluation. Forth, Posture evaluation and Range of Motion measurement system by using digital vision analysis method can fast measure in range of motion and foot evaluation and posture. therefore we can expect this system application in young people posture clinic center and hospital and so on.

        판상형 충전제의 함량과 배향에 따른 PP복합체의 영률 변화 연구

        이 논문은 판상형 충전제의 함량과 배향에 따라 폴리프로필렌 복합체의 영률 변화에 미치는 영향을 연구 하였다. 이론적인 예측은 Lee와 그의 연구자들에 의해 제안된 두 개의 종횡비, ρα=a1/a3과 ρβ=a1/a2 를 이용하여 3차원 타원체의 형상을 계산하였고 실험값과 비교 분석하였다. 판상형 충전제로 운모와 탈크를 사용하였다. 충전제의 형태는 SEM을 이용해 관찰하였고, 종횡비는 고분자의 흐름을 기준으로 좌표축을 설정하여 통계적 방법으로 계 산하였다. 충전제가 운모인 경우에 ρα=13.5와 ρβ=1.8이었고, 탈크의 경우는 ρα=3.8과 ρβ=1.4이었다. 또한 충전제 의 2개의 종횡비와 함량이 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 운모의 경우 30 wt% 함량일 때 E11이 약 2.7배 향상되었다. 탈크의 경우는 E11이 약 2.3배 향상하였다. This paper studied the effects of the content and the orientation of the disk shape fillers on the modulus of PP composites. The experimental results were compared with the theoretical calculations which included the three dimensional ellipsoids and analyzed by two aspect ratios, ρα=a1/a3 and ρβ=a1/a2 proposed by Lee and his researchers. Mica and talc were used as disk shape fillers in the composites. The shapes of mica and talc were observed by SEM and aspect ratios were statistically calculated. For the case of mica, the average aspect ratios were ρα=13.5 and ρβ=1.8, and for the case of talc, they were ρα=3.8 and ρβ=1.4. Also, the effects of two aspect ratios and the content of filler on the mechanical properties were studied: For 30 wt% of mica, E11 increased up to about 2.7 times, and for the other case of talc, E11 increased up to about 2.3 times, respectively.

      • 정지가동상태에서 자동차에 의한 오염물질 배출에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to evaluate the levels of exhaust emission of vehicles from Yesan Gun area. During 1995 through 1996, 360 vehicles were sampled randomly and analyzed by vehicle owner's characteristics, owner's vehicle manufacturing companies, owner's vehicle purchase types(new or used), owner's vehicle residence, owner's vehicle types, vehicle fuels used, vehicle mileages, and vehicle model years, also vehicle exhaust emissions on idling condition were measured. To evaluate the exhaust emissions of the diesel engine vehicles(n=140) by particulate, those of the gasoline engine vehicles (n=220) were examined by CO and HC. The results were as follows; 1. The frequency of vehicle owner's gender was 287 persons in male and 18 persons in female, whereas that of vehicle purchase types(new or used) was 306 persons in new vehicles and 53 person in used vehicles. The frequency of owner's vehicle residence was 214 persons in town area and 144 persons in rural area, whereas that of owner's vehicle manufacturing companies was 141 persons in A company vehicles, 141 person in B company, 42 persons in C company, and 35 persons in D company. 2. The mean value of vehicle model years was 3.2±2.9 years in gasoline engine vehicles and 3.1±1.8 years in diesel engine vehicles, whereas that of vehicle mileage was 5.6±4.3(10,000Km) in gasoline engine vehicles and 6.1±6.5(10,000Km) in diesel engine vehicles. But no significant difference in vehicle model years and vehicle mileages between the diesel engine vehicles and the gasoline engine vehicles was observed The mean value of vehicle exhaust emission of CO or HC was 0.70 ± 1.75 ppm (CO) and 93.29 ± 127.96 ppm (HC) in gasoline engine vehicles, respectively, whereas that of vehicle exhaust emission of particulate was 34.31 ± 12.02 in diesel engine vehicles. 3. In pearson's correlation analysis of gasoline engine vehicles, HC was correlated with CO(r=0.64, p=0.0001), vehicle mileage(r=0.25, p=0.0002), vehicle model year(r=0.23, p=0.0006), and remnant period of regular exhaust emission examination(r=0.09, p=0.1925). In pearson's correlation analysis of diesel engine vehicles, particulate was correlated with remnant period of regular exhaust emission examination(r=0.16, p=0.0599), vehicle model year(r=0.09, p=0.2745), and vehicle mileage(r=0.01, p=0.8297). 4. Multiple linear regression analysis using CO as dependent variable and selected variables(owner's gender, owner's age, vehicle manufacturing company, vehicle purchase type, remnant period of regular exhaust emission examination, vehicle mileage, and vehicle model year) as independent variables, revealed that none of them was significant to the dependent variable. Multiple linear regression analysis using HC as dependent variable and selected variables as independent variables, revealed that owner's gender was significant(p=0.012) to the dependent variable, and vehicle model year was marginally significant(p=0.063). Multiple linear regression analysis using particulate as dependent variable and selected variables as independent variables, revealed that vehicle model year was significant(p=0.015) to the dependent variable, and vehicle mileage was marginally significant(p=0.096). 5. Logistic analysis of the excess of exhaust emission criteria of CO with selected independent variables(owner's gender, owner's age, vehicle manufacturing company, vehicle purchase type, remnant period of regular exhaust emission examination, vehicle mileage, and vehicle model year) indicated that only vehicle model year was significant to the dependent variable(odds ration=1.233, 95% confidence interval : 1.094- 1.389). Logistic analysis of the excess of exhaust emission criteria of HC or particulate with selected independent variables indicated that none was significant to the dependent variable, respectively.

      • 1. 06㎛ Nd : YAG Laser를 이용한 요추간판탈출증의 경피적 수핵감압술

        The 1.06㎛ Neodymium-YAG Laser(800 micron hemisherical) is revealed a useful tool for percutaneous laser disc decompression(PLDD). Especially PLDD would be applied to the management of lumbar disc herniation with minimal intervention. Total irradiated energy to one level of disc space was bout 1000 to 2000 joules. We performed this method at 10 levels, in 7 cases of patients, consisting of 4 males and 3 females with an average age of 37.7 years. Five cases showed excellent and good results, were observed. In two cases, open surgery was required because of unsatisfactory results. The best results were obtained in the protrusion type of disc herniation. We have summarized some advantages of PLDD: a) safe and simple procedure in an outpatient setting, b) avoiding general anesthesia, late spinal instability, c) possibility of repetitive use.

        네이티브 광고의 브랜드 및 제품 노출이 수용자의 광고 인지와 태도, 공유 의도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 60명을 대상으로 아이트래킹과 실험연구를 병행하여 네이티브 광고의 효과를 파악하기 위해 네이티브 광고에 대한 인지, 수용자 태도, 공유 의도를 검증하였다. 구체적으로 네이티브 광고를 콘텐츠와 브랜드 및 제품의 노출 형태(직접 노출/간접 노출)를 고려하여 두 유형의 네이티브 광고에 대한 시각적 주의가 피험자들의 광고 인지에 미치는 영향을 비교하였다. 또한 두 유형의 네이티브 광고에 대한 태도(콘텐츠 태도, 브랜드 태도, 공유 의도)를 측정하여 각 유형에 따른 차이를 비교하였다. 분석결과, 직접 노출 형태의 네이티브 광고의 구성 요소 중 콘텐츠 본문에 브랜드 관련 문구를 포함하였을 때 피험자들의 광고 인지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 각 노출 유형별 콘텐츠 태도의 차이는 유의미하지 않았으나, 직접 노출일 때 브랜드 태도가 더 호의적인 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 직접 노출일 때 네이티브 광고의 공유 의도는 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 종합하여 네이티브 광고 제작을 위한 실무적 제언을 담았다. This study explored the effects of native advertising on readers’ recognition, attitude, and sharing intention. This study used both quasiᐨexperiment and eyeᐨtracking for 60 participants to analyze advertising effectiveness (Attitudes toward contents/brands, and sharing intention) of two types native advertisements such as brand exposure (direct/indirect). According to the result of this study, direct exposure type ads had a high advertisement recognition that included brand wording in ad contents. In addition, there was no significant difference of attitudes toward contents among each ad types but direct exposure type ads had more favorable brand attitude than indirect type ads. Finally, this study also showed that the sharing intention of direct exposure type ads were higher than indirect type ads. Based on the findings, this study provided a practical implication for the production of native advertising.

      • 人蔘 Total Saponin, Protopanaxadiol 및 Protopanaxatriol의 消炎作用에 關한 硏究

        Abstract-In an attempt to elucidate the anti-inflammatory action of ginseng total saponin, protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol, the anti-inflammatory activity of three compounds was investigated under various acute and chronic inflammatory models. The blood vessel permeability was slightly inhibited by total saponin and protopanaxatriol treatments. Granuloma formation induced by 2% carrageenan was inhibited by total saponin and protopanaxatriol. The cotton-pellet granuloma formation was significantly inhibited by intraperitoneal injection of total saponin. Total saponin and protopanaxadiol inhibited leukocyte emigration and protein exudation in CMC-induced pouch but protopanaxatriol increased leukocyte emigration. The swelling of rat hind paw induced by 1% carrageenan was significantly inhibited by total saponin, protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol both single and 2 weeks treatments. Total saponin, protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol decreased the anti-inflammatory activity in adrenalectomized rat. Our results suggest that total saponin, protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol have potent anti-inflammatory activity, this may be mediated in part through stimulation of adrenal glands.
