        This paper proposes Internet-based checking scheme for machine-tools with a variant CNC. Checking points defined in this research are classified into two categories such as structured point and operational point. The formal includes the vibration of bearing, temperature of spindle unit and another periodical management. And the latter includes oil checking, clamp locking/unlocking and machining on/off status. Through this research, for the global management of variant CNC machines interspersed with CAC and OAC in manufacturing system, the suitable environment for Internet-based checking of variant CNC machines was designed and the checking methods for CAC and OAC machines were compared with each other.

      • 독성물질의 세포사 기전 및 세포사 유발물질의 검색법 개발에 관한 연구(Ⅱ) : 망간 신경독성을 이용한 파킨슨증 모델의 세포사 Studies on the Mechanism of Parkinsonism induced by Manganese

        1960년대 이후 파킨슨병의 유발물질 중 한 후보로서 망간이 주목받으면서 많은 역학적, 병러학적 연구가 수행죄브다. 그러나 망간이 파킨슨병을 직접 일으키는지, 혹은 파킨슨병과 관련된 부위의 신경세포를 파괴시쿡 파킨슨증만을 초래하는 것인지가 아직 정립되지 않은 실정이다 본 연구에서는 실험동물모델에서 행등학적 변화 측정 및 병리학적, 샐화학적 연구를 통하여 망간의 과다노출글 따른 파킨슨병 유발 여부를 확인하고자 하였다. Sprague-Datylet· 렛드에 망간을 1, 2, 5, 10 mgAg/day의 응량으로 30일 등안 복강 투여하였을 때 모든 망간투여군에서 운동성 감소가 관찰되었다. 뇌조직의 망간 함량을 ion chromatograph?로 측정한 결과 중뇌 흑질과 기저핵 선조체에서 망간 함량의 뚜렷한 증가 소견이 관찰되었으며, 니슬염색체서 선조체의 신경세포수의 유의성 있는 감소가 관찰되었다. 그러나, 흑질의 TH효소 면역염색, GFAP 면역염색, 흑질과 선조체의 T릿효소 western blot 결과는 대조군과 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과에서, 망간-파킨슨증 모델에서 파킨슨증어 유발되는 기전은 흑질 도파민성 신경 세포의 신호를 받는 선조체 씬경세포의 사멸에 의한 것으로 생각된다. 결론적으로, 망간 독성에 의한 파킨스증 모델에서는 파킨슨 병과는 달리 흑질 도파민성 신경세포의 세포사는 관여하지 않는 것으로 관찰되었다. Manganese(Mn) intoxication causes a parkinsonian syndrome. It may be difficult to distinguish Mn-induced parkinsonism from idiopathic Parkinson disease(IPD). Neuropathological descriptions on the brains with Mn intoxication showed the perferential damage in the globus pallidus and substantia nigra pars reticularis. Pathological reports on the substantia nigra pars compacta(SNpc), a mafor focus of pathologic changes in IPD, are discordant and controversial. The SNpc involvement is of critical importance for the elucidation of pathogenesis of IPD. Therefore, the neurodegeneration in SNpc was investigated in the experimental model of Mn neurotoxicity. Sprague-Dawley rats were administered with manganese chloride(1, 2, 5, 10 mg/kg/day, i.p.) for 30 days. Treated animals showed low levels of distance-traveled from locomotor activity tests. Ion chromatography revealed that Mn accumulation was significant in SN and basal ganglia in Mn-treated animals. Nissl staining showed neuronal loss of the striatum in all treated animals. The degree of neurodegeneration in SN was determined by immunohistochemical staining of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH). The numbers of TH-positive cells on nigral sections were not different from each groups(P>0.05). The densities of glial fibrillary acidic protein immunoreactivity from SN were similar between groups. TH-westen blotting showed no differences between treated animals and controls. In conclusion, the SNpc remains intact in Mn intoxication, and Mn-induced parkinsonism may be caused by damages of output pathways downstream to the nigrostriatal dopminergic system.

      • 확장 칼만 필터를 이용한 동적 전기 임피던스 단층촬영법

        In electrical impedance tomography (EIT). the resistivity(impedance) distribution of the unknown object is estimated from boundary voltages induced by different current patterns with various reconstruction algorithms. In this paper. we propose a dynamic EIT reconstruction algorithm based on the extended Kalman filter(EKF). The reconstruction problem is formulated as dynamic equation which consists of the state equation and the observation equation and the unknown state is estimated recursively with the aid of the EKF. Computer simulations for the 16-channel synthetic data are provided to illustrate the reconstruction performance of the proposed algorithm.

        Recently, in response to the demand for a increased effort in education of leader for the next generation, there has been a significant development in the planning of campus, which is the center of research and academic activities of the coming generation. Therefore, many institutions have tried expanding educational facilities both in terms of quality and quantity. But, there always should be more systematic consideration in drafting a campus master plan so that it can meet the demand of the times and future society. Thus, this research has been attempted in order to be prepared for adaptation to growth and change and to carry out the educational goals international current of studies and the characteristic of Suwon Campus, Kyung Hee University.

      • 김해시 하수종말처리장의 효율적 관리 및 시행 방안

        We examine the merits and demerits of various management methods of sewage works in Kimhae city. It is desirable to select the most efficient management method by comparing the cost-benefits of various ones. The most appropriate one can change drastically, depending on which criteria we would use to select. Even though the selection based on quantitative analysis is most desirable to employ, we can not develop any quantitative analysis of various management methods. Instead of quantitative analysis, we employ a qualitative analysis. The public financial condition of Kimhae city, the availability of technicians and the existing public utilities in Kimhae city are the most important factors that can affect the selection of the management method of sewage works in Kimhae city. We conclude that the sewage works in Kimhae city should be operated in the form of a local public corporation.

      • 밀양강 수질관리를 위한 STREAM MODEL 적용

        The Milyang River in one of the tributaries which affects the water qualify of the Nakdong river. The STREAM(Segment Travel River Ecosystem Autograph Model) was applied to estimate the purification capacity of the Milyang river. The entire study area(23 ㎞) was divided into 13 reachs. Each reach was then subdivided into uniform reaction cell of 0.1 ㎞. Field data were obtained from two field sampling surveys during Summer(Agust, 1993) and Fall (November, 1993) periods. The model was calibrated by the August survey data and verified by the Fall survey data. The computed values by the model were in good agreement with the measured values. The concentrations of BOD_(5), COD, total suspended solids(TSS), orthophosphate (PO₄-P), and ammonia nitrogen(NH₃-N) were increased by stair style at the segment of 7.0~11.0 ㎞ where input waste loads were directly coming from the downtown of Milyang City. The water quality of downstreams after this stair-style increase was not recovered as before. The increases of carboneous organic, nitrogen and phosphorus showed the limitation of purification capacity downstreams before joing to the Nakdong River.

      • 직류 서보 전동기를 대상으로한 적응퍼지속도제어기의 설계

        This paper presents a study of the performance of a DC servo motor with a model reference adaptive fuzzy speed controller (MRAFSC) in the presences of load disturbances. MRAFSC comprised inner feedback loop consisting of the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and plant, and outer loop consisting of an adaptation mechanism which is designed for tuning a control rule of the FLC. Experimental results show the good performance in the DC servo motor system with the proposed adaptive fuzzy controller.

      • 남강에 적용된 하천 수질모델의 비교 연구

        The water quality models were applied to the Nam river The Nam river is one of the major tributaries of the Nakdong river. The entire stretch of 60 ㎞ was divided into 16 reaches. The models were calibrated and verified to the field data. The predicted water qualify showed good agreements with the field measurements by two models. However, the STREAM(Segment Travel River Ecosystem Autograph Model) model was approved to be better· than QUAL 2E model for the Nam river. It may be due to that the dissolved oxygen changes in water bodies are better by STREAM than by QUAL 2E model. From the results, the water quality of the Nam river was affected by the input loadings from the Haman stream. The shortness of the distance from this point to the Nakdong river made the joining water quality to the Nakdong river limit the purification capacity.

        엎 클로스 앤드 퍼스널 : 확장연구자가 들려주는 학교연구의 이슈와 딜레마 Issuses and Dilemmas of Action Research in Korea Context

        교육현장연구에서 질적방법의 사용은 우리나라에서 최근에 시작되고 있다. 이에 이 글에서는 질적방법을 사용하여 현장의 개선을 목적으로 한 실행연구에 참여한 대학연구자 그리고 현장교사들의 경험은 어떠한 것이었는지를 이야기기법을 사용하여 소개한다. 이러한 논의를 통하여 우리나라의 학교현장연구에서 나타나는 실행연구의 이슈들은 무엇인지 그리고 실행연구를 통하여 연구자가 경험하는 딜레마들은 어떤 것이 있는지를 부각시키고자 한다. 미국을 포함한 선진국에서 학교개혁의 최선 아이디어로 부각되고 있는 실행연구를 우리의 현장에 적용하였을 때 그 이상과 비슷하게 우리의 현장연구자들도 그러한 결과를 가져왔는지 아니면 그 어떤 새로운 이슈와 딜레마들을 경험하였는지를 세 사람의 실제 이야기를 통하여 밝히고자 한다. Action research based on qualitative methods has just begun in Korean educational research. There is a scarcity of introduction and discussion of action researchers’ experiences in scholarly writings and journals. Thus, authors who have done action research for developing Performance assessment tools through collaborative research between one university professor and two classroom teachers try to introduce their lived experiences for three years. They include a variety of practical issues, dilemmas, and suggestions for more effective application and implementation of action research to Korean classrooms. For this purpose, three authors use story method to reveal and deliver their lived experiences, conflicts, and interpretations. One university professor tell readers his story about teaching action research methods to graduate students, and establishing a new community of action research among teacher researchers and graduate student researchers. Two elementary classroom teachers tell readers what they have experienced through participation in collaborative action research and how their understanding and attitudes toward action research and qualitative research method have dramatically changed.

      • 수퍼차저에 의한 가솔린 機關의 性能에 관한 硏究

        The supercharging characteristics and the combustion performance of the spark iginition engine are investigated through the experiments. The apparatuses used in the experiment are the carburetor type 1468cc Gasoline Engine and the screw type supercharger. A supercharger pulley and a water pump pulley through V-belt are connected to the engine. The diameter of supercharger pulley is 63mm. The diameter of water pump pulley used are 63mm and 135mm,repectively.A optical senser is used to measured the speed of a engine. The pressure in first cylinder is measured. The rate of pressure rise and the rate of heat release are calculated. The engine speed considered is increased by 500rpm from 1500rpm to 3500rpm. It is found that the supercharging characteristics and the combustion performance in case of the engine with supercharger are increased at low speed range. Compared the supercharged engine with the natually aspirated engine, the most effects of supercharging on the torque and the rate of maximium pressure rise are observed at 2000rpm and 1500rpm, respectively.
