Unipolar Resistance Switching Characteristics in a Thick ZnO/Cu/ZnO Multilayer Structure

The resistance switching mechanism and the electrical conduction of thick Cu/ZnO/Cu/ZnO/Cu structures were investigated for various ZnO thicknesses (40, 80, 160, and 320 nm) when the thickness of the middle Cu layer was 2 nm. The ZnO films had a microstructure with columnar grains normal to the substrate. The switching voltages (VSET and VRESET) varied with the thickness of the ZnO layer. A symmetric electrode structure exhibited a unipolar resistance switching. The electrical transport of both high-resistance state (HRS) and low-resistance state (LRS) was Ohmic conduction, and the resistance switching mechanism was driven by the formation and the rupture of Cu conducting paths.

<P>The new species Dregea taynguyenensis from Vietnam is described, illustrated and compared with the other Dregea species occurring in Vietnam and neighbouring countries D. cuneifolia, D. sinensis, D. volubilis and D. yunnanensis. Dregea taynguyenensis differs from these species by the leaf blade secondary veins number, calyx lobes shape, and corolla lobes size.</P>
A Study of Neutronics Effects of the Spacer Grids in a Typical PWR via Monte Carlo Calculation

Spacer grids play an important role in maintaining the proper form of the fuel assembly structure and ensuring the safety of reactor core design. This study applies the Monte Carlo method to the analysis of the neutronics effects of spacer grids in a typical pressurized water reactor (PWR). The core problem used to analyze the neutronics effects of spacer grids is a modified version of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology benchmark problem 1B, based on an Advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) core model. The spacer grids are modeled and added to this test problem in various ways. Then, by running MCNP5 for all cases of spacer grid modeling, some important numerical results, such as the effective multiplication factor, the spatial distributions of neutron flux, and its energy spectrum are obtained. The numerical results of each case of spacer grid modeling are analyzed and compared to assess which type has more advantages in accuracy of numerical results and effectiveness in terms of geometry building. The conclusion is that the most realistic modeling for Monte Carlo calculation is the "volume-preserving" streamlined heterogeneous spacer grids, but the "banded" dissolution spacer grids modeling is a more practical yet accurate model for routine (deterministic) analysis.

Transformational leadership styles are seen as key to inspiring employees to embrace change, as well as to build a sense of responsibility and autonomy at work. This study aims to examine the impact of managers' emotional capacity on transformational leadership behavior in enterprises in Vietnam. Using quantitative research methodology, through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and linear structure model (SEM), with survey data of 632 samples who are managers of different levels in the enterprise. Research results show that the emotional capacity of managers has both a direct and indirect impact on transformational leadership behavior through the intermediary factors of knowledge sharing at work and corporate social responsibility for employees. Based on that, the study proposes a number of recommendations to promote transformational leadership behavior in enterprises. The findings of this study have demonstrated the importance and impact of managers' emotional capabilities across multiple dimensions of transformational leadership behavior. These are both theoretical and practical contributions that provide managers with greater insight into their emotional capabilities and the need for transformational leadership behaviors. At the same time, the results of this study will also be an important foundation for further research.

Agriculture and the rural sector play a crucial part in Vietnam’s socio-economic growth. The study’s goal is to see how technology transfer from young intellectual research activities affects the economic evolution of Vietnam’s agriculture and rural sector in the 4.0 technology era. The research has used a quantitative method through analysis of linear structural model SEM, with a survey scale including 480 samples that are managers in departments and branches in agriculture and rural sector in the provinces in Vietnam. Research results show that technology transfer from research activities of the young intellectual has a direct and positive impact on economic development in agriculture and rural sector. This level of impact will increase with the participation of the intermediary factors such as awareness of managers, trust, and mechanisms in the mobilization and use of resources. These results contribute to both theoretical and practical aspects when proving the impact of technology transfer from the research activity of the young intellectual to the economic development in the field of agriculture and rural sector in the 4.0 era and the mediating role of awareness of managers, trust and mechanisms in the mobilization and use of resources.
The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Employee Management: A Case Study in Vietnam

Corporate social responsibility for employees is associated with employees’ requirements related to the work and the organization’s ability to meet such needs. The study aims to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility for workers on employee management effectiveness amongst businesses in Vietnam. Using the quantitative method, through SEM linear structural model analysis, the research surveys 619 samples of employees at businesses in Vietnam. The study results show that corporate social responsibility for workers has both a direct and indirect impact on the effectiveness of employee management through intermediary factors such as organizational identity, organizational commitment, and knowledge sharing of employees. In addition, the study also demonstrates that commitment has a positive correlation with both organizational identification and knowledge sharing of employees in the businesses. On that basis, the study proposes several recommendations to improve employee administration efficiency. This study’s findings have shown the importance and impact of corporate social responsibility in many respects on employee administration efficiency. These are meaningful contributions in theoretical and practical aspects that help businesses get a more in-depth insight into employee administration and the need to care and promote corporate social responsibility for employees, which is an important basis for further research.
Argyreia gyrobracteata Traiperm & Chitchak (Convolvulaceae): A new record to the flora of Vietnam

Argyreia gyrobracteata Traiperm & Chitchak (Convolvulaceae) is newly recorded in Vietnam. It is similar to A. mekongensis Gagnep & Courch in having a white campanulate corolla but differs from that species by having whitish surface of the abaxial leaf, narrowly lanceolate or linear-oblong, curly, rolled up the bract with a longer length of the petiole and a shorter pedicel. It was previously known only in Thailand, but was recently found in Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, for the first time. The present study provides a detailed description, colorful photos and the distribution of the species. Furthermore, a comparison of the diagnostic characters between this species and a related species in Vietnam, A. mekongensis Gagnep & Courch, is provided.

Clerodendrum ervatamioides C. Y. Wu was described in 1977 with its type locality in Yunnan, China. During our floristic investigation in the Muong Nhe Nature Reserve of Vietnam of Dien Bien province and in the Muong Te district of the Lai Chau province, we collected several specimens of Clerodendrum ervatamioides, marking the first record of its occurrence in Vietnam. In this paper, details of the morphological features, distribution, ecology, photo plates, and a table comparing the morphological features with its ally Clerodendrum garrettianum Craib are provided.
