        튀니지는 북아프리카국가 중에서도 가장 개방된 나라로서 시장자본주의 경제체제의 도입에 박차를 가하고 있다. 경제적으로 지역무역협력을 우선 과제로 하여, 모로코와 함께 아랍마그립 연합의 결성을 주도하여 북아프리카 아랍권 국가의 경제공동체 형성을 모색하는 동시에, EU와의 단일 시장을 추구하고 있다. 튀니지의 경제 환경과 투자 여건 및 튀니지의 경제동향 및 통상정책을 중심으로 튀니지의 산업과 경제 환경을 소개하고, AMU 내에서 지역무역협력, EU 등과의 지역간 통상협력 가능성 및 발전가능성을 분석한였다. 아울러, 튀니지 경제정책을 전체적으로 분석하고 대외경제 발전 과정에 초점을 맞추어 세계화정책을 평가하였다.

        De L`ancienne Ifriqiya a La Tunisie moderne; Rencontres avec La Coree

        Tout d`abord, je voudrais saluer Dr Lee Jang-Moo, President de l`Universite Nationale de Seoul pour l`accueil qu`il nous a reserve a notre arrivee a cet auguste Universite. Mes vifs remerciements vont au Prof. CHOI Kwon-Hang, Directeur du Centre de Recherches sur la Francophonie au Departement de Langue et Litterature francaises a l`Universite Nationale de Seoul, pour nous avoir donne l`occasion de nous reunir autour de cette table et de discuter de la cooperation entre l`Afrique et la Coree et ses perspectives de developpement. Je salue aussi l`excellente idee de la prochaine creation d`un Centre d`Etudes Africaines a l`Universite Nationale de Seoul qui ne fera que contribuer a une meilleure comprehension entre les deux partenaires et constituer un cadre de reflexions sur les voies et moyens a meme de renforcer davantage le dialogue et la cooperation entre l`Afrique et la Coree. Par cette intervention, sous le titre “De l`ancienne Ifriqiya a la Tunisie moderne; Rencontres avec la Coree” Je vais essayer de souligner quelques aspects qui caracterisent l`etat actuel des relations entre l`Afrique et la Coree dans le domaine culturel (1) avant de reflechir avec vous sur les grandes potentialites de cooperation qui existent entre l`Afrique et la Coree et l`important role que peuvent jouer les echanges culturels dans l`ancrage et la perennisation de cette cooperation.(2)

        Influence of hydraulic retention time on biogas production during leachate treatment

        The main objective of this study is to investigate the influence of hydraulic retention time (HRT) on biogas production during leachate treatment using an anaerobic reactor type Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket. For this purpose, four HRTs ranging from 12 to 48 h were experienced. The obtained results showed that higher amount of biogas could be produced during longer HRTs. However, HRTs longer than 48 h could not affect clearly the biogas generation and considered as unnecessary given the small additional amount of biogas produced during the degradation process. A volume of 0.434 L/Lleachate/d was achieved during the treatment with a HRT of 48 h. The higher biogas production, the smaller chemical oxygen demand (COD) values achieved. Besides, COD removal and biogas production positively correlate, showing that the active biomass has degraded effectively the organic load to produce biogas. Moreover, all the analyzed physicochemical parameters have experienced a decrease after 48 h except for the pH, which increased to approximately neutral value. More precisely, a decrease of 93.8%, 89.7%, 95%, 70%, 77%, and 84.4% was recorded for COD, electrical conductivity, total suspended solid, turbidity, NH₄⁺-N, and NO₃⁻-N, respectively.

        Porous metal–organic-framework nanoscale carriers as a potential platform for drug delivery and imaging

        In the domain of health, one important challenge is the efficient delivery of drugs in the body using non-toxic nanocarriers. Most of the existing carrier materials show poor drug loading (usually less than 5 wt% of the transported drug versus the carrier material) and/or rapid release of the proportion of the drug that is simply adsorbed (or anchored) at the external surface of the nanocarrier. In this context, porous hybrid solids, with the ability to tune their structures and porosities for better drug interactions and high loadings, are well suited to serve as nanocarriers for delivery and imaging applications. Here we show that specific non-toxic porous iron(III)-based metal–organic frameworks with engineered cores and surfaces, as well as imaging properties, function as superior nanocarriers for efficient controlled delivery of challenging antitumoural and retroviral drugs (that is, busulfan, azidothymidine triphosphate, doxorubicin or cidofovir) against cancer and AIDS. In addition to their high loadings, they also potentially associate therapeutics and diagnostics, thus opening the way for theranostics, or personalized patient treatments.
