        The study was carried out to analyze the motive of the migration of rural youths to urban area by reviewing references related to migration from rural area to urban area. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Rural people of 15∼29 age among the migrators of rural population to urban area migrated most many as compared with other age rural people, and female migrates more to urban area than male. 2. The number of rural youth migrators to urban area every year was about twenty myriad in inclusion of single and household outmigration and the number of single migrators was within and without some ten myriad. 3. The motives of the migration were largely acted upon by the economic factors such as more opportunities of job hunting in urban area, disliking farming as a job and low economic level of their familes as well as the psychological factors such as being for no particular reason, their family troubles and yearning for city, The socio-cultural factors such as more opportunities for higher education in urban area and living convenience in urban area, also effected the motives of their migration but those factors influenced relatively them less than the economic and the psychological factors. 4. The motives of the migration were largely caused by interaction between push factors in rural area and pull factors in urban area. The influencing degree of the push factors on the migration was much the same with the pull factors. The low economic level of their families effected the motives mostly as compared with other push factors and the more opportunities of job hunting in urban area did them mostly as compared with other pull factors. 5. The rural youth migrators to urban area who adapted successfully themselves to new city living environments migrated relatively more due to economic factors than those who did not successfully, but those who did not successfully migrated relatively more due to psychological factors such as their family troubles and being for no particular reason than those who did successfully. 6. There were more sons and daughters of broken families among the rural youths who migrated to urban area than among the rural youths who are residing in rural area. The family factors also had a great effect on the motives of the migration.

        오징어 염지공정에서 물질전달의 수학적 모델링

        Todarodes pacificus is an important marine resource commercialized in South Korea, Japan, and China. The objective of this work is to investigate the effectiveness of different mathematical models (diffusive model, Newton's model, Henderson-pabis's model, Page's model, and Weibull's model) in precisely explaining the moisture gain/loss and salt gain of the squid slices immersed in saline solutions. Brine concentrations of immersion used were 2.5, 5, 10, and 15% (w/w) for various durations (0-360 min). The effective diffusion coefficients of salt ranged from 0.549×10−9 to 0.841×10−9 m2/s, while the moisture values ranged from -0.077×10−9 to 0.374×10−9 m2/s. The experimental results of moisture and salt transfer fitted well into the Henderson-Pabis and Page models, respectively. The results presented in this study support the potential to predict the mass transfer of squid using mathematical modeling.

      • 의료 영상 검색을 위한 아이콘 기반의 스케치 질의 작성 방안

        본 논문은 질병이 있는 뇌종양 MRI 이미지 검색을 위해 아이콘 기반의 스케치 질의 방안을 제시한다. 기존의 이미지 검색 시스템은 이미지가 갖는 속성 중 일부의 속성 값만을 가지고 사용자가 직접 질의 이미지를 작성한다. 그러나 이런 방법으로는 여러 복잡한 속성값을 갖는 뇌종양 MRI 이미지의 내용을 표현하기는 어렵다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 질병이 있는 뇌 MRI 이미지 검색을 위해 아이콘을 사용한 템플릿 형식의 메디컬 스케치 질의 방법을 제시한다. 뇌에서 발생하는 뇌질환을 질병별로 분류하였고, 분류된 질병들이 가지고 있는 색상이나 질감, 모양과 같은 속성 값들을 아이콘화하여 템플릿 이미지로 제공되는 정상인의 이미지에 정의된 질병 아이콘의 크기와 위치를 설정함으로써 사용자가 검색하고자 하는 질의 이미지를 쉽게 작성할 수 있는 스케치 형식의 질의방법을 제안한다.

        Public awareness about the specialty of anesthesiology and the role of anesthesiologists: a national survey

        Background: The aims of this national survey were to determine the views of Korean people regarding the specialty of anesthesiology and the role of anesthesiologists and to consider the ways in which individual anesthesiologists and the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists inform the public. Methods: This off-line national survey was conducted by a professional research organization to obtain exact and reliable data. The questionnaire included structured questions to identify perceptions of the specialty of anesthesiology and the role of anesthesiologists inside and outside the operating room, people’s desire for explanation of anesthesia by anesthesiologists, and their opinion about the best way to raise awareness about anesthesia and anesthesiologists. Results: Of the respondents, 25.2% did not know that anesthesiologists are in charge of anesthesia during surgery. Furthermore, even respondents who knew that had very little knowledge of anesthesiologists’ actual roles inside and outside the operating room. Respondents wanted their anesthesiologist to inform them about their anesthesia. Conclusions: The public’s awareness regarding the role of anesthesiologists seems to be inadequate. To improve this awareness, in hospitals, each anesthesiologist should provide patients with more exact and detailed information. Simultaneously, the National Society of Anesthesiology should provide systematic information reflecting the public’s thoughts.

        돼지고기 등심의 염지공정에서 소금농도의 영향: 물질전달 동역학을 중심으로

        The impregnation of solid foods into the surrounding hypotonic or hypertonic solution was explored as a method to infuse NaCl in pork loin cube without altering its matrix. Mass transfer kinetics using a diffusive model as the mathematical model for moisture gain/loss and salt gain and the resulting textural properties were studied for the surrounding solutions of NaCl 2.5, 5.0, 10.0 and 15% (w/w). It was possible to access the effects of brine concentration on the direction of the resulting water flow, quantify water and salt transfer, and confirm tenderization effect by salt infusion. For brine concentrations up to 10% it was verified that meat samples gained water, while for processes with 15% concentration, pork loin cubes lost water. The effective diffusion coefficients of salt ranged from 2.43×10-9 to 3.53×10-9 m2/s, while for the values of water ranged from 1.22×10-9 to 1.88×10-9 m2/s. The diffusive model was able to represent well salt gain rates using a single parameter, i.e. an effective diffusion coefficient of salt through the meat. However, it was not possible to find a characteristic effective diffusion coefficient for water transfer. Within the range of experimental conditions studied, salt-impregnated samples by 5% (w/w) brine were shown with minimum hardness, chewiness and shear force.

        국립등산학교 교육프로그램개발 및 운영방안 연구

        연구는 강원도 속초에 설립 예정인 국립등산학교 교육프로그램을 체계적으로 개발하고 효과적인 운영방안을 마련하고자 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 국내외 등산학교 교육프로그램과 관련 문헌의 조사 · 분석, 등산교육전문가를 대상으로 한 델파이 설문조사와 일반 등산인을 대상으로 한 인터넷 설문조사가 실시되었다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 국립등산학교 교육이념은 ‘미래의 산림복지 사회를 선도하는 등산 활동과 등산문화를 겸비한 창의적 등산인 양성’으로 구명되었다, 둘째, 등산교육의 영역은 등산 환경과 안전, 등산기술, 등산 장비, 등산문화, 등산교육학의 5대 영역으로 구분되어 각 영역별로 필수 교과목이 도출되었다, 셋째, 이러한 결과를 종합적으로 반영하여 총30개의 대상별 수준별 등산교육프로그램이 안전등산기술, 산림교육, 등산문화, 등산인 양성, 등산교육연수의 5대 교육과정에 걸쳐 개발되었다, 마지막으로, 국립등산교육프로그램의 효과적 운영을 위한 유용한 방안이 제시되었다. This study was conducted to develop education programs and to come up with some successful implementation plans for the National Mountaineering School(NMS) due to be established at Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do. To achieve these purposes, the education programs of domestic and foreign mountaineering schools and relevant data were collected and analyzed, and a Delphi survey of 10 mountaineering education experts was conducted through e-mail, and an internet questionnaire survey was carried out of 1,133 mountaineers visiting mountains more than two times per year. The main results of the study were that the fundamental educational goal of NMS``s was able to be identified as ``to bring up those creative-thinking-oriented mountaineers, equipped with sound mountaineering activities and cultures, who can lead the future society of forest well-bing`` and that mountaineering education was categorized into 5 major domains such as mountaineering skills, mountaineering equipment, mountain environment and safety, mountaineering culture, and pedagogy of mountaineering, each of which was subdivided into a set of specific subject matters. The survey results revealed that ordinary mountaineers were recognizing education courses regarding mountain environment and safety as the most needed programs for the NMS.

        품종에 따른 건시의 물성적 특성과 세포벽 성분

        건시의 품질에 중요한 영향을 미치는 물성적 특성과 세포벽 구성성분과의 관계에 대하여 연구하였다. 건시의 수분함량은 30-36% 정도였으며 물성특성 중 경도는 수분함량이 낮은 둥시(상주), Hagakure 및 고종시에서 높게 나타났다. 물성특성치 중 부서짐성, 경도, 껌성, 씹힘성은 품종간 유의차가 인정되었으나 응집성, 부착성 및 탄성은 품종에 따른 통계적인 유의차가 나타나지 않았다. 조세포벽의 함량, 세포벽의 펙틴물질 및 칼슘 함량은 경도가 높은 품종에서 높게 나타났으며 펙틴물질 중 수용성 펙틴은 경도가 낮은 품종에서 그리고 산 및 알칼리가용성 펙틴은 경도가 높은 품종에서 높게 나타났다. 주사전자현미경으로 건시과육의 세포벽을 관찰한 결과 경도가 높은 품종의 세포벽이 비교적 견고하게 관찰되었다. This study is performed to investigate the relation between cell components and hardness which affect to the quality of dried persimmons. Moisture contents of dried persimmons were interrange of 30 to 36%. Enpung Junsi (EJ), Dungsi (Young dong) (DY) and Haman Susi (HS) had higher moisture contents than Dungsi (Sang Ju) (DS), Kojongsi (KS) and Hagakure (HK). Hardness was high in the varieties which has low moisture content such as DS, KS and HK. The significant differences of hardness and fracturability among varieties were appeared conspicuously but those of cohesiveness, adhesiveness and springiness were not appeared. Crude cell wall content, pectin and calcium content of cell wall were high in hard varieties. In the pectin fractions, water soluble pectin content was high in EJ, HS and DY but that of acid and alkali soluble pectin were high in DS, KS and HK. The cell wall of high hardness varieties observed thick and firm than that of low hardness varieties.

      • 農村 靑少年의 家庭生活에 관한 價値觀

        The purposes of the study were to investigate the values of the rural youth in relation to family living, and to compare changes in the values with the similar study of the reseacher of 1970 in Korea. Data were collected by undergraduate and graduate students of the Seoul National University from randomly selected 993 rural youths of 13 to 24 years of age through questionnaire method. The data were analyzed by HP 3000 Computer in the College of Agriculture, Seoul National University. Major statistical techniques used for the study were frequency, percentile, chi square test. Statistical significance was tested at 0.05 level. The major findings of the study were as follows; 1. It was revealed that values on family living were changed into modern democratic ideals from traditional Confucian values 2. The view of respondents that the first son should take care of parents has decreased from 32.8% in 1970 to 23.8% in 1984. The Respondents who think that one of sons should take care of parents has increased from 45.8% in 1970 to 60.8% in 1984. 3. The rate of respondents claiming that the head of a family should govern the family with authority and dignity has increased from 61.1%in 1970 to 68.3% in 1984. 4. The respondents claiming that the head of a family should decide the important things of family living dogmatically has decreased from 16.9% in 1970 to 8.1% in 1984. 5. The rate of respondents claiming that father should respect mother's opinion in family has increased from 78.6% in 1970 to 90.5% in 1984. 6. The rate of respondents claiming that fathers should understand the things of children with maximum degree has increased from 86.8% in 1970 to 93.8% in 1984.

        곶감표면에 생성되는 백색분말의 화학조성 및 현미경적 관찰

        국내 주요지역에서 생산되는 곶감 및 표면 백색분말의 당조성과 분말의 형태를 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 곶감과육의 당함량은 56∼59% 정도였으며 주로 glucose와 fructose로 이루어져 있었다. 백색분말은 당 84.6%, 수분 12.5% 및 불용성 물질이 2.7% 정도였으며 당조성에 있어서는 glucose가 83.3%를, fructose가 16.7%로 대부분이 glucose였다. 백색분말을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과 판, 꽃, 침 및 뿔등의 형태를 이루고 있었으며 수화후 재결정화한 glucose와 비슷한 형태를 나타내었다. 곶감 표면의 백색분말은 건조과정 중 과육내부의 당이 수분의 이동과 함께 건조표면으로 이동하여 건조가 진행됨에 따라 주로 glucose가 결정화된 것으로 보여진다. Chemical composition and microscopic observation of white powder developed in the surface of dried persimmon which produced in several region in Korea were studied. Sugar content in flesh of dried persimmon was 56∼59% and composed of glucose and fructose. White powder developed in the surface of dried persimmon was composed of sugar 84.6%, moisture 12.5% and insoluble matter 2.7%, respectively. The major sugar of white powder was glucose with 83.3% and fructose was 16.7%. With scanning electron microscopic observation, white powder was seen the shape like a plate, flower, needle and horn, and it was similiar to the shape of recrystalized glucose after hydration. White powder in surface of dried persimmon was seemed that glucose and fructose in flesh were migrated with moisture to drying surface during drying process and glucose was crystallized in the surface of dried persimmon.
