s-diphenylcarbazide와 계면활성제를 사용한 크롬(VI)의 농축

Abstract The enrichment of Cr(VI) was investigated by column operation using Diaion HP-20 gel beads which were impregnated with diphenylcarbazide (DPC) and cationic surface active agent, cetylpyridinium chloride(CPC). In this column operation, optimum extraction pH range of Cr(VI) was from 0.7 to 1.7. For gel column impregnated with 9.23×10-2m mot DPC and CPC, break through point(BTP) was increased as increasing CPC content when 10 ppm Cr(VI) in 0.1M sulfuric acid was eluted in 1 ml min-1 rate. For example, using Diaion HP-20 gel impregnated with 9.23×10-2m mol DPC and 7.26×10-lm mol CPC (DPC-CPC gel), BTP was showed 2100 ml, about 18 times that of the absence CPC. This result suggested that inter correlation on ion pair distribution, ion exchange and ion interaction occured in the micelle phase formed by CPC. In the presence of KNO3(0.01M) as supporting electrolyte on the DPC-CPC gel column, enrichment of Cr(VI) was increased up to 2420 ml, about 20 times that of the DPC gel column which is absence of CPC. This result suggested that micelle aggregation number and facilated diffusion rate were increased in the presence supporting electrolyte. The extraction of Cr(VI) were not affected by the presence of 20 colds excess of Fe(III). 30 folds excess of Co(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) and 150 folds excess of Cu(II) in the solution containing 10 ppm Cr(VI). This method was successfully applied to the enrichment of Cr(VI) in industrial waste effluents. DPC-CPC gel in the operating column could be regenerated with water first and then with methanol followed by chloroform, so that they were able to he used repeatedly.
