화행 분석이란 대화 속에서의 문장의 화행을 알아내는 과정이다. 이러한 화행 분석 과정은 대화에 대한 분석을 필요로 하는 여러 응용에서 요구되는 부분이다. 기존의 일반적인 대화처리 과정에서 사용되었던 계획 기법을 이용한 화행 분석은 담화 지식이 복잡한 영역 지식과 혼합되어 있어서 확장성이 떨어진다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 통역에 있어서의 대화 모델은 일반적인 모델과는 달리 대화를 완전히 이해 할 필요가 없고, 그 응용의 특성상 견고성이 요구되므로 이를 위한 확장성이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 통역에 사용될 수 있는 화행 분석 모델을 제안한다. 이러한 화행 분석 과정에서 담화 지식을 재귀적 대화 전이망으로 표현하여 담화 처리를 단순화하여 확장성이 높은 화행 분석 모델을 제안하였다. Korean speech act analysis is a process of finding the speech act of a Korean sentence in a dialogue. It is an essential part for various applications related to dialogue analysis. Previous plan-based approaches on speech act analysis use lots of domain knowledge combined with discourse knowledge. Although such approaches can make relatively correct analysis in the process of understanding dialogues, they are difficult to be scaled-up. Since a dialogue machine translation system should be robust, we propose a different speech act analysis model that can be more easily scaled-up with the expense of losing complete understanding of dialogues. This kind of trade-off is quite reasonable since machine translation usually does not require complete understanding of an utterance for translation. The proposed model separates discourse knowledge from domain plan and represents discourse knowledge in a form of Recursive Dialogue Transition Network (RDTN). By ignoring domain plans, it becomes more robust and easy to be scaled-up.
ICT 산업에서 기술 혁신에 영향을 미치는 제도적 요인 분석 연구 : OECD 국가의 실증분석을 중심으로

The growth of information and communication technology (ICT) has led to a rapid of business paradigm shift incurred in the creation of new social/market value, changes of a value chain and elements producing a value creation, and enlargement of the scope of market competition. It leads to the change and evolution of industrial structure, requiring innovations of policy and institution. However, most studies that have focused on the effect of policy and institution on innovation are based on thick description and qualitative evidence, while paying little attention to these linkages in an empirical way. Hence this study has attempted to empirically analyze policy and institutional factors affecting innovation performance, particularly attention to ICT industry in OECD countries. The findings derived from the empirical analysis provide important implications for catch-up countries in relation to the innovations of policy and institution for effective innovation system and start-up ecosystem.
프로스포츠 승부조작 사건에 대한 처벌규정 검토 및 양형 분석

A case of match fixing took place in the professional sports of South Korea in the early 2010s, and it became a huge issue. Since the case, various methods have prevented such a case from happening again, but the risk of match fixing still lingers on. A professional basketball player, for instance, reported that some broker contacted him for match fixing in December, 2014. Match fixing can happen any time with brokers still in action. This study thus set out to make it clear that acts of match fixing were crimes with no doubt, reinforce punishments for match fixing, and make it sure that no more cases of match fixing would happen. The major content of the study was as follows: First, the investigator reviewed the rulings of match fixing cases in soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball and examined their major content and sentenced penalties. Secondly, the study also reviewed the punishment provisions for match fixing cases, investigating whether they would violate not only the National Sports Promotion Act but also criminal code. Finally, the study confirmed that the sentenced penalties of the old cases were lower than the determination criteria of punishment by the Supreme Court applicable to cases of match fixing and stressed a need to strengthen the punishment.
Analysis of low-marbled Hanwoo cow meat aged with different dry-aging methods

Objective: Different dry-aging methods [traditional dry-aging (TD), simplified dry-aging (SD), and SD in an aging bag (SDB)] were compared to investigate the possible use of SD and/or SDB in practical situations. Methods: Sirloins from 48 Hanwoo cows were frozen (Control, 2 days postmortem) or dry-aged for 28 days using the different aging methods and analyzed for chemical composition, total aerobic bacterial count, shear force, inosine 5′-monophosphate (IMP) and free amino acid content, and sensory properties. Results: The difference in chemical composition, total aerobic bacterial count, shear force, IMP, and total free amino acid content were negligible among the 3 dry-aged groups. The SD and SDB showed statistically similar tenderness, flavor, and overall acceptability relative to TD. However, SDB had a relatively higher saleable yield. Conclusion: Both SD and SDB can successfully substitute for TD. However, SDB would be the best option for simplified dry-aging of low-marbled beef with a relatively high saleable yield.
암 예방 연구에서 Comet Assay를 이용한 DNA Repair 분석법의 활용

DNA repair plays important roles in maintaining a low steady state level of DNA damage and protecting us from genetic mutation and cancer development. The comet assay, a fast, simple, and sensitive technique for the analysis of DNA damage and repair on cells, has applications in testing novel chemicals for genotoxicity, monitoring environmental contamination with genotoxins, and population monitoring. Alkaline comet assay is a method used to measure single strand breaks and alkali-site. The sensitivity and specificity of the comet assay are greatly enhanced if the nucleoids are incubated with lesion-specific enzymes that recognize specific lesion in the DNA. In addition, the repair activity in a cell extract can be measured by incubating it with nucleoids containing specific damage. The comet assay can be modified to measure DNA incision activity reflecting base excision repair and nucleotide excision repair. Currently,only a few studies have investigated the influence of nutritional factor diseases such as cancer, metabolic disease on DNA repair. In this review we addressed the application of comet assay to detect DNA repair capacity, focusing on the methodology and recent research trends. (Cancer Prev Res 16, 1-12, 2011)
