최근 일본에서 독개미류(Solenopsis geminata, S. invicta)의 항구지역에 대한 집중 조사 및 방제를 실시하고 있다.한국에서는 남쪽 지방의 항구가 발생 가능 지역에 포함되어 있어 국내 침입여부를 확인하기 위한 조사를 실시하였다.부산항 지역을 대상으로 조사한 결과 3아과 10종의 분포를 확인하였다. 그 중 1종은 국내 미분포종인 Paratrechinalongicornis 였으며, 발견 즉시 발생지를 포함여 주변에 대한 약제살포 등의 방제작업을 실시하였고, 추후 발생여부를 계속 모니터링하고 있다. 현재까지 추가 발견이 없어 박멸에 성공한 것으로 판단된다.
한우(韓牛)의 폐충증(肺蟲症)에 관(關)한 병리조직학적(病理組織學的) 연구(硏究)

Pathological studies, on the lung of 27 cases of bovine parasitic bronchitis which were secured from abattoirs in Korea, were performed and discussed. The chief pathological findings were as follows. Grossly, the lungs were shown various degree of lobular consolidation, collapse and alveolar emphysema around the bronchi in which nematodes of Dictyocaulus viviparus were present. Emphysema and edema were observed in the interlobular septa. The lesions were encountered mostly in the caudal and ventral borders of the diaphragmatic lobes. In all the cased of parasitic bronchitis in which thickening of the visceral pleura and fibrinous deposition on the pleural surfaces were not seemed to be entirely due to the lungworm infection. Microscopically, bronchopneumonia, peribronchial and peribronchiolar lymphoid hyperplasia, lympho-reticular broncho-occlusive legion, and bleakthrough lesion were examined in the affected lungs.
한국재래산양 췌장의 insulin, glucagon, somatostatin 및 pancreatic polypeptide 분비세포에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

Ultrastructures of pancreatic endocrine cells containing glucagon, insulin, somatosratin and pancreatic polypeptide were studied in the pancreas of the Korean native goat by immunohistochemical and elecron microscopy. Glucagon immunoreatctive cells were round or fusiform in shape and contained secretory granules of 200-260 nm in diameter. The secretory granules were high in electron density and had a halo between the limiting membrane and the central granule core. Insulin immunoreactive cells were round or oval in shape, and contained various sizes of secretory granules from 135 to 300 nm in diameter. The secretory granules were low or moderate electron density and had a variform halo. Somatostatin immunoreactive cells were elliptical or fusiform shape with cytoplasmic processes. They contained the secretory granules of 140-320 nm with moderate electron densities. Pancreatic polypeptide immunoreactive cells were elliptical or fusiform and contained small secretory granules with high electron densities. The secretory granules were 120-230 nm in diameter and the least in number.

Pancreatic endocrine cells containing glucagon, insulin, somatostatin and pancreatic polypeptide were identified in the pancreas of the Korean native goat by using immunohistochemical method. Glucagon immunoreative cells were oval or fusiform in shape and located at the periphery of the pancreatic islets. Insulin immunoreactive cells were round or oval in shape and occupied throughout the pancreatic islets except the small area of the periphery. Somatostatin immunoreative cells were oval and elliptical, and mainly located at the periphery of the pancreatic islets. Some of these cells had a cytoplasmic process. Pancreatic polypeptide immunoreactive cells were elliptical or polyhedral and located at the periphery of the pancratic islets where two or more cells formed a cell cluster. The distribution rates of glucagon, insulin, somatostatin and pancreatic polypeptide immunoreactive cells were 24.4%, 44.3%, 13.2% and 18.1% respectively.

Magnetostrictive actuator is fabricated with powder nano bonding method instead of sputtering method. Fabrication process and experimental measurement method for magneto-mechanical characteristics is proposed. For the design of highly flexible magnetostrictive actuator, TbDyFe nano powder bonding with Teflon substrate is adopted. The fabrication process for Teflon substrate and nano powder bonding is suggested and magnetostrictive behaviors are investigated. Variable magnetic field is applied to measure the magnetostrictive characteristics and magnetostriction is measured with different waves and different magnitude of magnetic field.
급성 CO 중독회복기에 있어서 생쥐 신장 Alkaline phosphatase 활성 변화에 관한 조직화학적 연구

The present investigation was to find out the changes of renal alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity during recovery periods after carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. For this purpose, the mice, were poisoned with 1 % CO for 1 hour and 0.5% CO for 8 hours. After acute CO-poisoning the experimental animal was exposed to fresh air for 1 to 24 hours. The changes of alkaline phosphatase activity was examined histochemically after exposure to fresh air by modified Gomori method. The following results were obtained; 1. Renal ALP activity was recovered after 18 hours exposure to fresh air in the case of 1% COpoisoning. 2. Renal ALP activity was recoverd after 24 hours exposure to fresh air in the case of 0.5% COpoisoning. 3. Renal ALP activity is changed remarkedly to brush border of proximal convoluted tubules.

In this research, a capacitance pressure sensor with graphene membrane and titanium substrate have been developed and studied as a potential robust substrate and a sensitive membrane material for micromachined devices. Mechanical lamination process combined with micromachining processes have been selected for the fabrication of the pressure sensor. Prior to the fabrication, capacitive pressure sensors based on a graphene diaphragm and titanium substrate have been designed. The fabricated pressure sensor uses a titanium substrate, a graphene film laminated with a floating movable plate, and a fixed surface micromachined back electrode of electroplated nickel. Finite element method is adopted to investigate the residual stresses formed in the process.Also, the out-of-plane strain is calculated under the pressure of the diaphragm. The sensitivity of devices manufactured using these techniques is 7.5 to 4 kPa-1, and the net capacitance change in the range of 0 to 180 kPa is 013 pF.
