소염진통제 약물에 대한 In vitro 피부자극 시험연구

In vitro skin iritation of anti-inflammatory drugs was investigated in terms of the cytotoxicity method to human skin fibroblast cells. Five anti-inflammatory drugs (Diclofenac, Naproxen, Meclofenamic acid, Ibuprofen and Fnoprofen) which are commercially available as oral preparations or injections were tested. The cytotoxicity of 5 chemicals was evaluated by using MTT[tetrazolium salt 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide] assay. NRU (neutral red uptake) assay and Alamar Blue assay after fibroblast cells had been exposed to the chemicals for 24 hours or 489 hours. The $IC_{50}$ values of the chemicals showed the comparative strength of cytotoxicity as following order of Meclofenamic acid>Diclofenac>Fenoprofen>Ibuprofen>Naproxen. The values of $IC_{50}$ determined by Alamar Blue assay were lower than those of MTT and NRU assay. These data suggest Alamar Blue assay can be useful method for assessing in vitro skin irritation potential of anti-inflammatory drugs.

고온에서 Si-O-C-N계의 반응에 대한 열역학적인 연구

Silicon-based ceramics such as silicon carbide(SiC) and silicon nitride(Si₃N₄) are the leading candidate materials for high temperature engineering applications such as heat engines, heat exchangers, and power generating turbine blades. In this study, the solgasmix-pv computer program was employed to calculate the thermodynamical equilibria at high temperatures in Si-O-C-N system. The effect of operating variables including temperature, amount of air, composition of SiC was investigated in detail. Temperature and amount of C had little effect on the produced species and quantity, but amount of Si(s) and air as reactant greatly affected equilibrium solid phases. SiO₂(s) were produced in the presence of sufficient oxygen. However, Si₃N₄(s) were produced after oxygen was completely consumed.

태양전지에 소모되는 비용중의 30% 이상이 silicon 기판의 가공 및 silicon자체의 비용이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 비용을 절감하기 위해 silicon기판대신 STS 304를 사용하고자 한다. STS 304를 태양전지용 기판으로 사용하기 위해서는 고도로 연마된 표면을 필수조건으로 하기 때문에 STS 304에 전해연마를 실시하여 AFM으로 표변의 거칠기를 살펴보았다. 또한, 표면 조도의 향상을 위해 최적의 연마조건에서 leveller를 첨가하였다. 인산(H₃PO₄)을 기본으로 한 전해연마액에 2A의 전류와 극간거리 0.7 ㎝의 조건하에서 STS 304의 최적 전해연마조건을 찾기 위해 전해액의 온도는 80℃~120℃, 연마시간은 3~20분간 천해연마를 실시하였다. 그 결과 2N㎠, 80℃, 10분에서 27.9 ㎚의 표변조도를 보였으며, leveller로 사용된 glycerine, ethylene glycol, propylcne glycol의 영향을 연구하였다. Leveller 중에서는 ethylene glycol을 0.4 g/l 첨가하였을 때 표면조도가 약 l5㎚로서 그 효과가 가장 좋았다. The cost of material and slicing of silicon wafer occupied more than 30% of solar cell manufacturing cost. The substitution of silicon wafer into STS 304 stainless steel could be the promising solution to decrease the material cost Moreover the stainless steel solar cell could have the advantage of low weight and durability. However, the highly polished surface is required to meet the characteristic of solar cell. The electropolishing process in phosphoric acid based solution was used to get the surface quality. The obtained result was 28 ㎚ obtained in current density of 2 Amp/㎠ at 80℃. The leveller effect of glycerine, ethylene glycol and propylen glycol was studied, When the 0.4 g/l of ethylene glycol was added to the electrolyte, the surface roughness was best, 15 ㎚.
