The study is to evaluate the effect of bank protection concrete block products to streams and soils. The effect on three types of bank protection concreteblocks was evaluated.. The first type was manufactured using fly ash, and the second and third type products used fine blast furnace slag powder. Thelaboratory and field Experiments test results showed the pHs of 9 or less. Also, any heavy metals were not detected in the heavy metal leaching tests. Although some iron (Fe) was partially detected, it still met the water quality standards. In addition, heavy metal was detected from all blocks by theUS drinking water evaluation standards method. An on-site water quality and soil contamination tests were performed at the places that the blocks wereimplemented in practice. The test results showed that the application of the bank protection concrete block product did not lead to the water and soilquality degradation. Therefore, it was found that the hardened bank protection concrete block product did not elute harmful substances such as heavymetals that affect water and soil quality degradation.

The A17075/CFRP multi-layered hybrid laminate material consists of the alternating A17075-T6 sheets and carbon/epoxy prepregs of M40 fade. The influence of volume fraction and fiber orientation of A17075/CFRP layer on flexural properties of A17075/CFRP laminate alternating A17075-T6 and carbon/epoxy prepreg was investigated. The results obtained from the experimental analysis are as follows: 1. In the $0^{\circ}$ fiber orientation, the mont of increase of the flexural rigidity was $20.5\%$ at the $26.5\%$ volume fraction and $38.0\%\;at\;the\;35.7\%$ volume fraction compared with the flexural rigidity level(20.0GPa) of the $10\%$ volume fraction of CFRP. 2. In the $\pm45^{\circ}$ fiber orientation the amount of decrease of the flexural rigidity was $23.5\%\;at\;the\;20.0\%$ volume fraction and $31.5\%\;at\;the\;33.3\%$ volume fraction compared with the flexural rigidity level of the $10\%$ volume fraction of CFRP. 3. In the $0^{\circ}$ fiber orientation, the flexural strength was 481.5MPa at the $10\%$ volume fraction of CFRP and 583.8MPa at the $26.5\%$ volume fraction and 653.7MPa at the $35.7\%$ volume faction. 4. In the $\pm45^{\circ}$ fiber orientation, the flexural strength was 354.0MPa at the $20.0\%$ volume fraction of CFRP and 340.5MPa at the $33.3\%$ volume fraction.

An experimental study was carried out to investigate the effects of inclined angles of channel on thermal stability of electronic components. In this study, it is focused on the natural convection heat transfer from an inclined parallel channel with discrete protruding heat sources. The material used for the inclined parallel channel was epoxy-resin, while air as the cooling fluid. Heat transfer phenomena for inclined angles of φ=15˚, 30˚, 45˚, 60˚and for the range of 9.52 × 10^5<Ra<6.25 × 10^6 were analyzed. The thermal fields in the channel were visualized by Mach-Zehnder interferometer. Also, local temperatures were measured by thermocouples along the channel wall and heat sources surface. As a result, for the range of 4.29 × 10^5<Ra_c^*<6.04 × 10^6, a useful correlation of mean Nusselt number was proposed as a function of modified channel Rayleigh number.
