HPLC를 이용한 농약코빈(thiophanate-methyl)의 측정법에 대한 연구

The best conditions were described for the measurements of kobin, which was a group of carbamate pesticide, by HPLC. The following results were obtained. 1. The eluates were detected with Dupont model 850 UV detector at 254nm. 2. Analyses were performed using Dupont model 8800, Bondapak C18 ODS column, linear gradient was increased from 10% to 100% with methanol-0.04% acetic acid at a flow rate of 1.5㎖/ min., 35℃ and a chart speed of 0.5㎖/min. 3. The relationships between the concentration and absorbance of pesticide kobin were linear 10 to 100ppm. 4. Deproteinization could be used satisfactorily in all of Folin-Wu, trichloroacetic acid and perchloric acid, and the recovery rate was found to 100% for perchloric acid and Folin-Wu except TCA.

The temporoparietal fascia is an ideal tissue source as an arterialized transposition flap as well as for free transfer to distant sites where ultrathin coverage is either desirable or mandatory. Microvascular transfer is facilitated by means of its large vessels, ample pedicle and ability to be grafted on either side. It cam be transfered alone as an isolated tissue, or it can simultaneously transport periosteum and bone from below or hair-bearing skin from above, and its donor scar is hidden in the hair. The flap is useful in covering exposed bone and tendon without adding unwanted bulk, in providing thin flap coverage in facial reconstruction, in covering vital structures, in providing neovascularity, and in establishing gliding-tendon mechanism. The authors have experienced reconstruction of the deformities of the auricle, face, and hand with this flap. Technique and clinical application are discussed in detail.
하악골에 발생한 Desmoplastic Fibroma의 치험례 : -A Case Report-

Desmoplastic fibroma is a rare, benign, fibroblastic intraosseous tumor originating in connective tissue. A case in a 21 year-old female is described. A tumor, situated between the root of the right mandibular incisor(medial) and condylar neck. Morphologically, the characteristics of the tumor conformed well to those of a desmoplastic fibroma. The surgical procedures of the mandibular reconstruction by using of a vascularized iliac bone graft and the differential diagnosis of the desmoplastic fibroma with reference to the histopathological and ultrastructural appearance of the tumor are discussed.

Ear lobe cleft can be divided into congenital and traumatic type. Congenital type can be classified according to embriology ; Superior, inferior, and mixed type. Traumatic earlobe cleft is usually the result of heavy ear rings having progressively stretched the lobule. We experienced 3 cases of congenital ear lobe cleft and managed them by modified Joseph method. Passow-Claus method and retroauricular transposition flap with conchal cartilage graft. The operative method was selected by amount of skin and soft tissue of the affected lobule. The result was satisfactory without complications.
Influence of Signal-to-Noise Ratio on Eddy Current Signals of Cracks in Steam Generator Tubes

This work presents the influence of noise originating from the tube itself on the detectability and sizing accuracy forlaboratory-induced outer diameter axial cracks in nuclear steam generator tubes. The variations of signal amplitude andphase angle of the same cracks were analyzed when increasing the signal-to-noise ratio of the tube itself from 9 to 18. Itwas experimentally verified that the detectability for small cracks was enhanced by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio. The phase angle also rotated to a value representing the actual position and depth of a crack when increasing the signalto-noise ratio.

This retrospective study comprised 2,081 patients with maxillofacial trauma sustained in various accidents and treated in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Soon Chun Hyand University Hospital between July 1978 and June 1987. Although the etiology of facial injuries varies from one geographical area another according to the development and type of the prevalent transportation system, car accidents probably cause more facial injuries than any other modality in most modern countries. Frequently, the patient with a face injury has concomitant injuries of several organ system. The timely diagnosis and initial treatment of these associated injuries, combined with the need for careful sequential planning, may require a highly sophisticated consideration of the total medical situation in the patient. The following results were obtained. 1) An increase of facial injuries of 23% per year was noted. September and July(13.3%, 12.5%) were associated with the highest incidence rates between 6:00 p.m. and midnight. 2) The extremes of age in the study range from 1 year to 66 years with a mean 31.5 years. Predictably, most of the injuries occured in young males with the highest incidence in the 20 to 30 year age group. Male pedominanted more than female, 2.8:1. 3) The moving vehicle accidents (49.5%0 were responsible for the majority of trauma; the interpersonal violence (21.4%) was the next most common cause. 4) Types of maxillofacial trauma were facial bone fractures (28.4%) and facial soft tissue injuries(71.6%) 5) A total of 912 classified facial fractures were diagnosed in the 592 patients. In our patients, the most common fractures were found in the mandible followed by nose, zygoma, maxilla, and orbital rim. 6) The most common facial soft tissue injuries were facial laceration(60.5%) followed by facial contusion, facial abrasion and soft tissue loss. 7) The most common site of facial laceration was forehead followed periorbital area, cheek, lips, and oral mucosa. 8) Closed reduction was used for 36% of the patients of facial fractures, while 43% of parients were required open reduction and 18.8 % were needed both closed and open reduction. 9) The infection on the operative sites and Post-traumatic psychosis associated with complications were occured in the highest rates (20.4%, 15.1%).

Water solubility of conjugated polymers may offer many applications. Potential applications of water-soluble conjugated polymers include the polymer light-emitting diode and new materials for nano and micro hollow-capsules, and bio- or chemo-sensors. We synthesized neutral polyfluorenes containing bromo-alkyl groups by the palladium catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction. Bromo-alkyl side groups in neutral polyfluorenes were quaternized by tri-methyl amine solution. The electrochemical and optical properties of water-soluble conjugated polymers are discussed. This novel synthesized water-soluble conjugated polymers were used as a interfacial dipole layer between active layer and metal cathode in polymer solar cell for enhancement of open-circuit voltage (Voc), which is one of the most critical factors in determining device characteristics. We also investigated the device performance of polymer solar cell with different metal cathode such as Al, Ag, Au and Cu. In polymer solar cell, novel cationic water-soluble conjugated polymers were inserted between active layer and high-work function cathode (Al, Ag, Au and Cu).
