This study aims to evaluate the subjective image on the 4 bridges that are girder and cable-stayed bridge across the Han River, by questionnaire surveys. Questionnaire surveys were conducted by 135 subjects and were statistically analyzed with SPSS package. The results of the study are as follows; ① It was proved that the evaluation of adjectives on the cable-stayed bridges`` illuminating was higher than it on the girder bridge by the profiles. ② It is analyzed that the night time images of the Gayang and Wonhyo Grand Bridge has been improved by illuminating. ③ The common factors that are related to the impression on illuminating of the girder and cable-stayed bridge across the Han River are ``Evaluation``, ``Potency``, and ``Activity``. ④ It was construed that the impression of illuminating was influenced by four independent variables which were ‘structure of bridges’, ‘daytime images’, ‘color of light sources’ and ‘brightness of light sources’, and the explanation value were 61-79%.
열적으로 활성화된 광선반 시스템의 냉방 효과 시뮬레이션 연구

A light shelf is commonly used to mitigate glare discomfort and overheating by preventing solar radiation from penetrating the indoor space. If the light shelf can be thermally activated, it can also be used for space cooling, particularly for the perimeter zone in buildings. In this study, a thermally activated light shelf (TALS) system was proposed, where the light shelf was integrated with a radiant cooling panel system. To examine the applicability of the TALS system, heat transfer simulations were conducted using the Physibel software. Based on the simulation results, the layer of TALS was determined to maximize cooling capacity at the lower panel surface while minimizing the lower surface temperature. Transient simulations were also conducted to evaluate the cooling effect of the TALS system during the summer season. Simulation results showed that the TALS system could reduce the average perimeter and interior zone temperature by 2.23°C and 2.19°C, respectively. With the TALS system, the maximum temperature was reduced by 3.2°C in both the perimeter and interior zones. It was found that the TALS system could effectively reduce the room air temperature, which could lead to cooling energy savings. The impact of the TALS system on cooling energy consumption needs to be investigated in future studies.

The results of the study are as follows; ① It was proved that the evaluation of adjectives of truss bridges`` illuminating was higher than it of arch bridge by the profiles. ② It is analyzed that the night time images of the Banghwa, Dongho and Dongjak Grand Bridge has been improved by illuminating. ③ The common factors that are related to the impression on illuminating of truss and arch bridges across the Han River are as follows; ``Evaluation``, ``Potency``, ``Activity`` ④ It was construed that the impression of illuminating was Influenced by four independent variables which were ‘structure of bridges’, ‘daytime images’, ‘color of light sources’ and ‘brightness of light sources’, and the explanation value were 70-82%.

This study aims to find out how much energy can be saved when an exterior shading is installed on a building. The results were proved by comparing with the average values of solar radiation transmittance such as the annual solar radiation, the monthly solar radiation and seasonal solar radiation through the distribution images of solar radiation in building. The results showed that the building energy could be saved per unit area of building. For the numerical analysis, `Design Builder` was used as a computer simulation program. As a result, the optimal design for an exterior shading could be suggested to the louver with an angle of 30° and a width of 300mm. Based on these results, it was verified that the energy saving effect was above 3.75% by an exterior shading when this system was applied to Gwangju District Family Court that was the on of public office building.
역사적 건축물의 야간경관조명 색채 이미지에 관한 평가 - 장안문과 팔달문을 중심으로 -

This study aims to evaluate the subjective responses on images of historic buildings' exterior lighting by questionnaire surveys. For the purposes, two historic buildings which are Janganmoon and Paldalmoon were selected by field surveys, and exterior lighting images were photographed to show respondents. 82 responses out of a hundred and twenty, were selected from questionnaire surveys which were conducted to the students of the Department of Architectural Engineering at K. University, and collected papers were statistically analyzed by SPSS 8.0. The results of this study are as follows : ① Pre-perceived of historic buildings doesn't have a huge influences on the general impression of exterior lighting. ② Major variables which related to the general impression of exterior lighting for historic buildings has been 'elegance', 'beauty', 'match', 'dignity' in the order. ③ According to regression, variable of 'dignity' was analyzed to the highest R²value by 0.583 in Janganmoon and variable of 'match' was analyzed to the highest R²value by 0.441 in Paldalmoon.
조명환경관리구역 설정을 위한 광주광역시 빛공해 사례조사

This study aims to suggest the basic data for making enactments of the anti-light pollution by Gwangju Metropolitan City. For this purpose, four target areas which were classified such as natural, residential and commercial areas according to ``Light Pollution Prevention Act by night lighting`` were selected, and the field surveys were performed by measuring luminance. As a result, approximately 82% among the measuring points were over illuminated as compared with the criteria of light pollution and some solutions were necessary to prevent from light pollution in night time especially residential and commercial areas in Gwangju.
