일반적인 AC/DC변환 장치는 안정화된 직류 전원을 얻기 위해 대용량의 커패시터와 고속의 전력용 반도체 스위칭 소자를 사용한다. 하지만, 이러한 소자의 사용으로 인해 입력측의 고조파 손실 및 역률 저하의 문제점을 갖게 되고 고속 스위칭에 따른 스위칭 손실에 의한 효율이 저하되는 문제점을 갖게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 역률개선이 가능하고 스위칭 손실이 저감되는 ZVS 방식을 이용한 새로운 형태의 역률개선용 소프트 스위칭 방식의 부스트 컨버터를 제안한다.

Conventional drum washing machine is divided by amount of laundry on 3 step. Because that, this method is arisen in case of washing smaller amount of laundry than each weight during same time. In other words, power is wasted by unnecessary washing time. In this paper, exact quantity of laundry is obtained by using inertia estimator considering features of drum washing machine, unnecessary washing time is decreased by selection proper washing time, thus the algorithm that increase efficiency by reducing power consumption is proposed.

The output voltage of a synchronous generator is regulated constantly by field current control of excitation system. Synchronous generator exciter has two type, first one is Drop control type by thyristor and second one is exciter current control type through power output by PWM control. Control method of the second one prevails, but when the power devices have a breakdown, output voltage of the generator rises rapidly. This exciter must have a protection circuit and system is complicated, so reliability is poor. Excitation control type which is drop control type control only 10% of the power, so it can be improved precision. When a trouble come to the controller, output voltage of a generator don't rise excessively and the voltage rise about 10%, so it has a excellent reliability. This paper prove stability of the digital AVR.

Generally, because of the cost and the restricted manufacture standard, the motor control for home appliance have been used the method using hall sensors or the sensorless method. In the conventional sensorless method using home appliance, the resistor and the back-EMF coefficient are varied by the motor speed and the load torque. Therefore, these variations cause the position error when the sensorless control is operated. This paper proposes the compensation method for sensorless position error using 2-hall sensor pulse signals.

This paper is simulated overall composition of permanent magnet synchronous motor using Simulink in Matlab. In general permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system, SVPWM method is usually adopted. The simulation results in this paper show the speed and torque characteristics of PMSM with motor drive which is modulated by SVPWM. Through this simulation, it can be possible to verify the component which affects the torque and speed control causing the SVPWM.
