유기용제 대사산물인 요중 마뇨산, 페놀, 만델릭산, 페닐글리옥실릭산, 2,5-헥사디온 및 트리클로로아세트산에 대하여 건강한 성인(남자:40명, 여자:40명)의 정상치를 산정 파악함으로써 추후 이들 분야의 기초자료로 활용되게 할 뿐이라 유기용제를 취급하는 근로자들의 건강관리에 일조가 되게 하기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. For the purpose of preparing the fundamental data for health promotion by assessing normal level of urinary metabolites to several organic solvents, the author determined the concentration of hippuric acid, phenol, mandelic acid, phenylglyoxylic acid, 2,5-hexanedione and trichloroacetic acid in urine of none exposed normal man(male 40. female 40) by highperformance liquid chromatography and spectrophotometer. The results were as follows ; 1.The geometric mean concentration and standard deviation of urinary metabolites to total subjects were 0.85±1.63g/ℓ for hippuric acid, 27.75±1.71㎍/ml for phenol, 30.86±2.87㎍/ml for mandelic acid, 2.24 ±3.49㎍/ml for phenylglyoxylic acid, 4.64 ±2.08㎍/ml for 2.5-hexanedione and 2.00 ± 1.60㎍/ml for trichloroacetic acid, respectively. 2.Positive correlation of total subjects were observed between age and concentration of urinary phenylglyoxylic acid & mandelic acid, phenylglyoxylic acid and mandelic acid & hippuric acid and negative correlation of those were observed between phenol and age, phenylglyoxylic acid & mandelic acid(P<0.05).
