        The attitude and knowledge toward family planning and induced abortion of 387 students of 2 colleges in Andong area were investigated from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5, 1990 with following results. The correct concept of family planning as controlling the number and the interval between children was recognized by 84.2 % of subjects. 91.5 % of subjects approved family planning. The most ideal age of their marriage was 29.98. The most desired age difference between a couple was 3-4 yrs. (51.2 %), the bride being younger than the bridegroom. 82.1 % of subjects wanted to have more than two children after marriage. 61.0 % of subjects expressed that life without children would be incomplete. Rhythm method and basal body temperature were the most desired contraceptive method (37.7 %), followed by oral pill (14.5 %) and condom (12.7 %). As for attitude of induced abortions 43.2 % of subjects answered that abortion can be permitted if there is a proper reason, on the other hand 29.7 % of subjects answered that abortion must be prohibited in any case. 93.5 % of subjects expressed that induced abortion would be harmful to the mother's health. The number of those who agreed that the pregnancy of the poor and single and the unwanted pregnancy might be aborted is 50.4 %, 33.9 % and 40.5 % respectively.

        신체 활동은 유아들에게 의사소통의 수단인 동시에 환경을 탐색하고 자기의 신체를 발견하는 방법이기도 하다. 또한 유아기의 신체활동은 운동 기능을 발달시킬 뿐만 아니라 외부로부터의 감각 정보들을 감각 기관을 통하여 지각하고 저장하는 지각 능력 촉진한다. 이렇게 유아들은 신체를 움직이는 활동을 통해 기쁨을 느끼고,긍정적 자아 개념을 형성 시키며,기초 학습 능력을 기르게 된다. 즉 우리가 들은 것은 잊어버리지만 본 것은 기억하고 행동한 것은 아는 것과 같이 신체활동을 통해 알게 된 것은 지속적으로 살아 있을 것이다.

        통일 후 사회통합을 위한 중국 출생 북한이탈주민 자녀의 이중언어사용 활용 방향

        This study examines the diversity of North Korean Defectors Children Born in China and analyzes current settlement assistance policies and programs available to them. The youths can be classified into four groups First, children born in North Korea. The second, unaccompanied children born in North Korea. The third, children born in the 3rd countries such as China. The fourth children born in South Korea. Legal protections are differently applied for the children according to their place of birth. The characteristics of the Chinese birth children can have potential bilingual possibilities and three identities: China, North Korea, and South Korea. The four types choose between are entitled as North Korean Defectors Children Born in China and analyzes settlement assistance Ministry of Unification policies programs and Korea Hana Foundation 2016D in order to suggest more effective assistance for utilzing bilingual language Use of North Korean defectors children born in China for social Integration in post-Reunification Korea. These are the most basic problem to be solved for the social integration in the future postreunification Korea. These findings suggest that bilingual language use of North Korean Defectors Children Born in China backgrounds seemed to be on theincrease; further research is needed in terms of both quality and quantity bilingual language use of North Korean Defectors Children Born in China. 본 연구는 북한이탈주민 자녀 유형의 다양성을 검토하고 그에 따른 현재의 정착지원 정책과 프로그램을 살펴보았다. 탈북배경청소년들은 대체로 4유형으로 구분되며, 북한출생 탈북청소년, 무연고 탈북청소년, 중국 등 제3국 출생청소년, 북한이탈주민의 남한출생 자녀이다. 법적 지원은 이들이 어디서 출생했는가에 따라 다르게 적용된다. 중국 출생 자녀의 특성에서 잠재적 이중언어사용 가능성과 중국, 북한, 남한의 세 가지 정체성을 지닐 수 있다는 것이다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 이 4가지 유형의 청소년 중 가장 많은 수를 차지하는 중국 출생 북한이탈주민자녀의 문제 상황을 살펴보고, 이들에 대한 통일부의 지원정책 및 서비스를 분석하여 향후 통일 후 사회통합을 위한 중국출생 북한이탈주민자녀에 대한 이중언어사용 활용 방향의 효과적 지원방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이러한 중국 출생 자녀의 이중언어사용 활용 방안은 통일 후 한국의 사회통합을 위해 반드시 해결해야 할 가장 기본적인 논의이다. 이에 따라 중국 출생 자녀의 이중언어사용에 대한 연구가 양적 및 질적인 측면에서 추후 이루어져야 할 것이다.

        미국의 소수자우대정책(Affirmative Action)에 기초한 다문화사회 상호간 역차별 정책 대응 다각화 방안 연구

        This paper purposes to indicate that the affirmative action adopted to increase multicultural socity rates in Korean labor market has lost the original meaning of its own, through examining the examples of other countries which had employed affirmative action before Korea did and reviewing scholarly debates about instrumentalizing affirmative action. Affirmative Action is more controversial or more divisive than any other issues in America. Recently the Supreme Court of the United States sent Fisher v. Texas At Austin back to the lower court for additional review. The Court held that because the Fifth Circuit did not hold the University to the demanding burden of strict scrutiny articulated in Grutter and Bakke, its decision affirming the District Court’s grant of summary judgment to University was incorrect. Affirmative action is originally enacted to reward people who suffered inequality that had been historically reproduced by the discrimination in the past; however, this meaning of compensatory justice has tended to disappear in the process of adopting and applying it in Korean society. Especially, in the America. where the strong effect of neoliberalism on politics, economy and society has existed, affirmative action has been replaced by the instrumental affirmative action or the emphasis on diversity. Affirmative action in Korea has been through similar changes. Also, the primary focus of this paper is on government affirmative action efforts.

        한 아세안 교류 증가에 따른 국제친화형 다문화 인재 양성 특성화 방안

        The success or failure of the Korean multiculture society is a key issue for the creation competent and talented human resources for the productiion contents. The purpose of this study is to elucidate how to characterize and the specialized marriage immigrant womenpower training system for global-friendly multicultural tallent of Korea-ASEAN on exchange increase with global competitiveness. The success of multi-disciplinary education will be maximized when cooperation with the responsible ministry, the active will of the ministry, the exchange increase vision of the university, and real-time and active administration are supported. In this study, based on the analysis of demand and supply of the human resources in the multiculture society, we found out that the multiculture society requires Specialized marriage immigrant womenpower training system for Global-friendly multicultural tallent of Korea-ASEAN on exchange increase who has the creativity, practical applicption ability, and the international competency. 한국 다문화사회에서 다문화 인재 양성 전략의 성공 여부는 교육적인 비전공유 및 적극적인 교육 행정지원이 함께 이루어질 때 효과성은 극대화될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 한⋅아세안 교류 증가에 따른 결혼이민자들을 활용한 국제친화형 다문화 인재 양성 특성화 방안을 지역 기관과 교육 연계성의 중요성을 제시하였다. 한국사회에서 아세안 국가 출신 결혼이민자들에 대한 국제친화형 다문화 인재로서의 양성 교육 방법의 성패 여부는 한국 정부의 다문화정책과 결혼이민자들의 적극적인 의지가 관건이다. 아울러 지자체 및 민간단체의 비전 공유와 지역 대학기관의 교육서비스가 실시간적으로 지원되는지, 그 여부에 의해 결정될 것이다.

        농촌 노인의 안녕에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Factors Influencing the Well-being of the Aged in Rural Areas Hwang, Mi-Hye Purpose: This study was to investigate factors influencing the well-being of the aged in rural areas. Method: The subjects consisted of 250 elders living in rural areas of Kyungsangbuk-do. Data were collected by questionnaire surveys using convenience sampling. The instruments used in this study were the Well-being Scale by Chang (1999), the perceived health status developed by Speake, Cowart, and Pellet (1989), and the Social Support Scale developed by Song (1991). Data were analyzed using the SPSS program through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's multiplerange test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The most powerful predictor of well-being was social support, and then religion, health status, living expenses, and habitation accounted for 42.95% of variance in the well-being of the aged in rural areas. Conclusion: These results suggest that perceived health status and social support can be potential risk factors in the well-being of the aged. The findings of this study provide the basis of program development to improve the well-being of the aged in rural areas.

        임상간호사의 전문직 자아개념과 직무만족도

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the professional self-concept and job satisfaction of clinical nurses. The subjects consisted of 569 nurses who work at a university hospital and 6 general hospitals in Daegu, Kyungpook and Kyungnam. The findings are as follows : The average item score of professional self concept was 2.68. The mean item scores of professional self-concept in each dimension were as follows: 2.77 for professional practice: 2.33 for satisfaction: 2.91 for communication. The average item score of job satisfaction was 2.79. The mean item scores of job satisfaction in each dimension were as follows: 3.39 for interaction : 3.27 for professional status; 3.19 for autonomy : 2.90 for doctor-nurse relationship: 2.57 for administration: 2.41 for task requirements: 2.16 for pay. The stronger a subject's professional self-concept, the stronger the job satisfaction. The relationship between general characteristics and professional self-concept shows a significant difference with regard to age, religion, marital status, period of nursing career, and position. The relationship between general characteristics and job satisfaction shows a significant difference with regard to age, religion, educational level, work setting, period of nursing career, position, and region. In conclusion, this study suggests that we need to develop a program for improving professional self-concept of clinical nurses through nursing education.
