        황명자(Myung Ja Hwang) 한국여성체육학회 2001 한국여성체육학회지 Vol.15 No.2

A new dancesport being these days in the sportlight of the public at large seems not to be that performed so far for no more than social intercourse and entertainment at the so-called uniquely koreanized social-dance institute and social-dance hall in korea. these two sorts of dances ; the one, a new sportdance and the other, so-called social-dance are recognized to apAarently be different fmm each other especially in the aspects of public society. For all that, the new dancesport is treated as to be included in the coverage of business of social-dance institute and soaal-dance hall by public administration. Such treatment like that is so excessive and unreasonable regulation to substantially be improved by. For the purpose of deregulation on and settlement of dancesport in korea a few alternatives can be suggested as followings; first, current legal system in force focusing on administrative regulation has to be changed toward the administrative promotion and encouragement of sportdance; second, sportdance has to make its own space in legal conception so that it could be treated as a independent business; thii, Teaming opportunity of sportdance for children and young ages has to be guaranteed; forth, business circumstances of sportdance have to be improved through the rationalization of use-control system of buildings and land zoning system; fifth, administrative regulation has to be improved to guarantee citizens including young ages sufficient opportunity of learning dancesport and make preparations for forthcoming International Olympic Games and Asian Games.

        무용영재성의 요인 탐색

        황명자 ( Myung Ja Hwang ) 한국리듬운동학회 2012 한국리듬운동학회지 Vol.5 No.1

The purpose of this research is to find sources that help elementary school teachers to identify a dance-gifted elementary school student. Through surveys and personal interviews, information on the time when the teachers should select a dance-gifted student, a group of students from which a dance-gifted student is selected, and the traits that distinguish a dance-gifted student is obtained, and the following conclusions are drawn. First, a dance-gifted student is identified most frequently at the age of 9 and 10. Secondly, most participants in the survey have responded that the opportunity to have education that reveals the potential for being dance-gifted should be provided to a broad range of elementary school students. Lastly, the determinants of being dance-gifted are a student`s attitude towards dance, dance intelligence, physical intelligence, and the environment surrounding a student. These findings provide elementary school teachers a guideline for discovering a child talented in dance at an early age. They suggest not only the most appropriate time when a dance-gifted child can be found and the group of students among whom such child is chosen, but also the major criteria for distinguishing children with the gift in an ordinary elementary school setup.
