Covid-19의 발발로 인해 디지털 테크놀러지의 활용은 교육에서 전방위적으로 확산되었고 이로 인해 이전부터 강조되던 ‘개인과 공동체의 연결과 참여’를 강조하는 참여적 문화는 사회.문화적 분야에서는 물론이고 교육 분야에서도 더욱 활발하게 적용되게 되었다. 이에 따라 평생교육기관이자 지역사회 구성인 박물관에도 많은 영향을 미치며, 관람객과의 소통은 물론이 고, 나아가 지역사회와의 소통과 연결을 꾀하는 참여적 박물관의 모습을 지향하고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 지역사회와의 연결과 교류를 통해 사회참여라는 확장적 경험으로 이어질 수 있는 ‘지역연계 참여적 박물관 프로 그램’을 개발하고 적용한 뒤, 결과분석을 위해 다양한 질적 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과 학습자뿐만 아니라, 프로그램에 참여한 다양한 구성원(교육 강사, 지역기관 담당자, 지역주민, 박물관 스탭)들로부터 지역에 대한 이해, 인식, 파트너십을 통한 관계 형성 등 박물관과 지역기관 간 협력을 통한 지역 참여에 유의미한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 결론적으로 디지털 테크놀러지와 접목하여 이루어지는 지역연계 참여적 박물관 프로그램은 현시대에 요구되는 참여적 박물관의 실천적인 모습 이자, 지역사회 구성원이 공동의 목표를 달성할 수 있는 협력적 참여 공동체로서의 실천 가능성을 보여주었다. With the outbreak of Covid-19, digital technology has been used more rapidly in all directions in education. As a result, the participatory culture emphasizing ‘connection and participation between individuals and communities’, which has been emphasized before, began to be applied more actively in social, cultural, and education fields. Accordingly, the museum aims to become a participatory museum that seeks to communicate and connect not only with visitors but also with the local communities. In this context, this study developed a community-connected participatory museum program to provide an expanded experience of social participation through connection with local communities for students, and various qualitative data for analysis of results were analyzed. As a result, positive effects were noticed not only from learners but also from various members who participated in the program to participate in the region through cooperation between museums and regional institutions. In conclusion, the community-connected participatory museum program coupled with the digital technologies showed the possibility of a practical model for the participatory museum required in the present era.

포스트 코로나 시대의 지역연계 참여적 박물관 교육방법론에 대한 탐색

‘디지털 테크놀로지’와 ‘참여’는 Covid-19의 장기화로 인한 비대면 사회에서 온라인을 통해 외부와의 연결과 교류로 이어진현 사회의 특성을 대변하는 의미로 제시될 수 있다. 포스트 코로나 시대에 따른 사회전반의 변화는 지역사회의 핵심구성이자 지역유산을 보존․보전의 책임을 지닌 박물관에도 영향을 미치며 지역공동체와 적극적인 소통과 관계로 이어지는 박물관의 모습을 실천하고 있다. 곧, 참여적 박물관에서 지역 참여적 접근이 적극적으로 이뤄지기 위해서는 공동목표에 이르는 구성원 간의 협력과 주도적 참여로 이어지는 교수설계 및 실질적인 단계가 요구된다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 박물관이 지역사회와 연결을 통해 주민과의 소통과 교류, 활발한 논의의 장으로 이어질 수 있는 지역연계 참여적 박물관에서의 구체적인 접근을 제안하고자 하였다. 이에 따라 참여적 박물관을 위한 실천적 접근으로서 지역연계 참여적 학습과 함께 포스트 코로나 시대의 특성을 반영한 유비쿼터스 학습 환경, 박물관 스탭의 애자일 조직을 위한 실천으로서의 조직․문화적 특성을 고려하여 지역연계 참여적 박물관 교육을 위한 총 여섯 단계에 이르는 구체적인 학습단계와 세부 활동을 도출하였다. 결론적으로 포스트 코로나 시대를 살아가는 학습자를 위해 지역사회에 중추적인 역할을 하는 지역연계 참여적 박물관으로서 실천적이고 궁극적으로 나가야 하는 교육방법으로서의 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. ‘Digital technology’ and ‘participation’ represent current society that connect and exchange through online in non-contact society caused by COVID-19. The changes era are key components of local community, affecting museums responsible for preserving local heritage, and practicing participatory museums for active communication with community. For participatory museum to have active participation, instructional design and practical steps are required for members to cooperate and participate in achieving goal. This research attempted to propose specific approach for community‐connected participatory museum to connect with communication, exchange and active discussion. As a practical approach for participatory museums, six stages of learning and detailed activities were derived, taking into account the ubiquitous learning environment reflecting the characteristics of the post-COVID-19 era, and organizational and cultural characteristics of museum staff, along with community-connected participatory learning. In conclusion, for learners in post COVID-19 era, this study tried to explore possibility of community‐connected participatory museum as practical education method in community.

디지털 박물관 활용을 통한 학교 학습공간의 변혁적 확장

박물관은 전시물을 중심으로 한 탐구학습, 실생활과의 맥락적 학습, 자기주도적 학습, 협력적 학습 등의 특성을 가지고 있다. 또한 학교 환경에 비해 새로운 디지털 테크놀로지의 도입과 활용 면에서 앞서가고 있다. 이로 인해 이전부터 논의되어 오던 박물관과 학교 연계의 교육모형은 4차 산업혁명시대에 맞게 새롭게 진화된 형태로 발전하고 있다. 이런 맥락에서 본 연구에 서는 혁신적 디지털 테크놀로지(예를 들어, VR, 위치기반 기술, BYOD 등)를 활용한 국내외 박물관 사례들을 살펴보고 이것 을 학교 현장에도 연계하여, 학교교육의 페다고지적 변혁과 더불어 학습공간(learning space)의 물리적(physical) 측면에 서의 변혁적 확장 방안을 모색하였다. 디지털 박물관을 통한 학교교육의 학습 공간적 확장 방안으로 첫째, 학교 학습공간 안에서 온라인 박물관과의 연계를 통한 학습공간의 확장, 둘째, 학교에서 물리적 박물관 방문을 통한 학습공간의 확장, 셋째, 온라인 박물관과 물리적 박물관의 혼합 을 통한 학습공간의 확장으로 제안하였다. 더 나아가 학습공간 측면에서 학교라는 형식교육기관의 물리적 공간을 넘어 비형 식 교육기관과의 물리적, 페다고지적으로 융합된 관계로 확장되어야 함을 강조하고자 한다. Museum is a good place to practice inquiry-based learning using exhibits, contextual learning related with real life, self-directed learning, and collaborative learning. Beyond that, early adaption and implementation of IT use in museum education seems to be far ahead of schools. As a result, an new version of ‘museum and school partnership’ which has been practiced previously, seems proper as a model fit for the fourth industrial revolution. In this context, this study intended to explore, first, how museums are using a variety of innovative digital technologies in educational situations and then, suggest a model for museum and school partnership by linking museum’s technologies with school environment. This, ultimately, might lead to a transformative learning environment which expands learning space in both real and digital spaces and pedagogical practices as well. In conclusion, this study presented that collaboration with digital museums and school becomes a new approach in converging formal education with informal educational institutions in terms of physical and pedagogical expansion, which is followed by transformative learning environments suitable for the current society.
