In the measurements of plane table surveying, instrumental errors arise from imperfections or faulty adjustment of the devices with which are taken. The conditions and magnitude of the error will be discussed and some suggestions are presented in this paper.
유세포 분석기와 Neutral Red Retention Assay를 이용한 자연산 참굴(Crassostrea gigas)의 면역력 측정

Hemocyte parameters of the wild Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas inhabiting intertidal zones in small bays (Gwangyang and Jinhae Bay) on the southern coast of Korea were evaluated using flow cytometry and neutral red retention (NRR) assay. Morphological features, cell count, mortality, DNA damage, phagocytosis, and lysosomal membrane stability of hemocytes were analyzed. Three types of hemocytes were identified in the oyster hemolymph: granulocytes, hyalinocytes, and blast-like cells. Immune related functions of hemocyte including phagocytosis and lysosomal membrane stability were significantly different among the study areas (P<0.05), while cell count, mortality, and DNA damage of hemocytes were not significantly different. In Gwangyang Bay, phagocytosis of granulocytes and lysosomal membrane stability of oyster hemocytes inhabiting inside bay were significantly lower than those of oyster hemocytes in outside bay (P<0.05), indicating that oysters in inside bay of Gwangyang were relatively suppressed the immunological function in hemocytes. Contrary to Gwangyang Bay, immune parameters of oyster hemocytes in Jinhae Bay not showed the difference between sampling sites. In conclusion, flow cytometry and NRR assay using oyster hemocyte has a powerful tool to investigate the cell level in a short time due to no-preprocessing of material.
LAN 환경에 적합한 저비용 고효율 스트림 서비스 알고리즘

Most stream servers currently in use are developed for WAN (Wide Area Network) or Internet to serve live video and VOD (Video On Demand) images. They are large in size and expensive, but not scalable to meet growing user requests. So, the users have to purchase more powerful, but expensive servers. However, many schools and institutions are not affordable to buy them, which are in fact too powerful for their LAN environments. This paper proposes a cost-effective algorithm which works efficiently in LAN environments. Each host of an institution belongs to a group in which a server is responsible for transmitting all the required services to the client hosts internally within the same group as well as to the remote servers externally. Once the remote server gets the services from the original server, it retransmits them to its members. As a result, it can reduce significant amounts of traffic and utilize the network resources more efficiently.

Development of bio-plastic synthesis have garnered many researchers' attention to turn the chemical plastic polymers into biocompatible plastics, such as using biologic enzymes for manufacturing, or using eco-friendly biomass as base materials. Regarding that above mentioned, poly(Lactic acid) (PLA) has received much attention such in food chemistry, electronics, and car industries due to biocompatibility, biodegradability, and/or non-toxicity. In this research, poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)s were synthesized, composed of L-lactide via bulk ring-opening condensation polymerization with a series of the mixtures of metal-based catalysts. The effect of metal oxide as a co-catalyst to molecular weights of polymers, and the effect of shape of the Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticle catalyst as initiator/co-catalyst in the ring-opening polymerization will be given in the meeting.
