        니켈 - 철 전지 전극의 전위 및 전류밀도 분포 예측

        니켈-철 전지 전극판에서의 전위와 전류밀도 분포를 계산하고, 이를 통하여 전극의 방전깊이 분포의 변화를 예측할 수 있는 유한요소법에 근거한 전산모사 프로그램을 개발하였다. 각기 전극판의 종횡비와 탭의 위치가 다른 전극들에 대하여 해석을 실시한 바에 의하면, 전근판의 종횡비와 댑의 위치 변화는 전각의 전위와 전류밀도 분포에 영향을 주어 전극의 방전깊이 분포를 결정할을 알 수 있었다. 전근의 방전깊이의 분포를 균일하게 함으로써 전극의 활물질 이용률을 높이고 전지의 수명을 연장하기 위하여는 전극형상 설계의 최적화가 필요함을 확인할 수 있있다. A computer simulation program based on the finite element method was developed in order to calculate the potential and current density distribution for the electrodes in a Ni-Fe battery, through which the depth of discharge(DOD) distribution and variation with time could be predicted. The analysis on the electrodes of different aspect ratios and tab positions revealed that the aspect ratio and the tab position influence the potential and current density distribution, thus affecting the DOD distribution within the electrode. As a result, it was found that an optimization for the design of an electrode shape is necessary to make the DOD distribution more uniform and to enhance the utility of the active material of an electrode influencing the cycle life of a battery.

        Development and Evaluation of Text-to-Scene Model for Korean Language Writing Education as a Foreign Language

        In this paper, we propose a text-to-scene model as one of educational games for Korean language writing education as a foreign language. In order to immediately provide feedback on user input sentences, the proposed text-to-scene model automatically generates the scene corresponding to the user input sentence by analyzing its semantic structure. For the purpose of improving the user's writing ability by correcting errors in the user input sentence, the proposed text-to-scene model provides both the scenes of the correct sentence and the scenes of the user input sentence; so that the user can easily recognize the errors in the user input sentence and correct them. Previous text-to-scene approaches have a weak point that it is difficult to construct the resources and to generate the elaborate scene. Considering that the construction cost and the processing time, the proposed text-to-scene model generates the simple scene that foreigner can easily understand. Experimental results show that the proposed text-to-scene model takes 14.94ms per sentence and produces every scene for 1,048,576 sentences, which is made by arbitrarily combining 15 words. On the paper writing test, a foreigner writes 4.7 incorrect sentences among 10 sentences; while the foreigner writes 0.87 incorrect sentences with the proposed text-to-scene model on the writing test.

        두개뇌압 항진과 뇌탈출증의 임상증상

        Neurocritically ill patients commonly develop secondary brain injury such as brain herniation and intracranial hypertension because of space occupying lesion in the brain. Currently, the aim of neurocritical care is early detection and minimizing secondary brain injury. In order to meet these treatment goals, an awareness of associated symptoms and signs of patients in the neurological intensive care unit is needed, even in those with decreased consciousness due to severe brain injury. In this review, we aimed to describe clinical manifestations and imaging findings of intracranial hypertension and brain herniation.

        한반도 평화인문학의 기초 과제로서의 종교평화학 형성 방안 연구

        모든 종교는 평화를 추구한다. 평화는 삶의 모든 양식과 관련되어 있음에도 불구하고, 평화에 관한 연구는 전공 분과학문의 테두리 안에 서 개별적 관심에 따라 이루어져 왔다. 한반도 평화는 종교연구와 평화연구의 공통된 주제이다. 그러나 종교연구자들은 평화의 사회적 측면을 간과해 온 반면, 평화연구자들은 종교의 심층적 이해를 도외시 해 온 경향이 있다. 이 연구는 인간에 대한 종교연구의 심층적 이해와 사회에 대한 평화연구의 사회과학적 이해를 융합한 ‘종교평화학’을 한반도 평화연구의 새로운 방법론으로 구성하기 위한 기초연구이다. ‘종교평화학’은 종교연구와 평화연구의 개별 분과학문 체계에서 출발하 여, 분과학문의 경계를 넘어서는 융합적 차원에서 수행됨으로서 종교연 구와 평화연구 각각의 한계를 극복하고, 종교와 평화 연구의 상호 발전과 성숙에 기여하는 담론 생산을 목표로 한다. Peace has both social and internal aspects. Despite the fact that peace is related to all aspects of life, research on peace has been made in accordance with individual interests within the boundaries of the major and scholars. Peace on the Korean Peninsula is a common research topic of religious and peace studies. However, religious scholars have overlooked the social aspects of peace, while peace scholars tend to ignore a deep understanding of the inner side of religion. This study provides an integrated perspective on the issue of peace on the Korean peninsula by presenting ‘Religious Peace Studies’ as a new research methodology, which is a fusion of the understanding on human being in religious studies and on society in peace studies.

        단발성 홍반 결절 형태로 나타난 기저양 편평세포암종

        Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma (BSCC) is a rare malignancy, which has a predilection for the upper aerodigestivetract. A 78-year-old man presented with solitary erythematous nodule on the right neck. The tumor mass was rapidlyenlarged for last 5 months and firmly attached to deep soft tissue. Neck computed tomography showed enhanceddensity in vallecular region and enlarged cervical lymph nodes. Wide excision of the tongue base with modifiedlymph node dissection, including the solitary erythematous nodule, was performed. Histopathologically, the tonguebase and cutaneous lesion displayed closely packed basaloid cells with comedonecrosis and squamous eddyformation. The cells demonstrate a high nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio and abundant mitotic figures. Staining for p63,cytokeratin 5 (CK5) demonstrated diffuse uptake within the tumor and CD56 stain was negative. We diagnosed thiscase as the first Korean case of metastatic cutaneous BSCC.

        Design and Implementation of Quest Level Design Authoring Tool Considering Interactive Storytelling

        Recently, there has been an increase in the number of users watching game play through internet broadcasting as well as playing games directly. Therefore, it is important not only to show brilliant graphics based on technology as before, but also to convey impressive stories to players or viewers. In this paper, we designed and implemented an authoring tool that can design levels of quests, one of the methods of delivering story in the game, considering interactive storytelling. The implemented quest level design authoring tool allows the generation of various types of quests based on background contents such as NPC, field(monsters), items, and then by setting the interaction to connect them. The quests created in this way are clear in terms of cause and effect, and this helps the player to understand the details of the quests easily. Also, the quest level design authoring tool can be easily used by organizers who do not know the programming methods, and it can be used for the planning and production of time-consuming, costly quests.
