The purpose of this paper is to develop a temperature acquisition instrument by the telemetry system. The telemetry temperature measurement system's hardware can be divided into two assembly. One is a transmitting part which consists of thermocouples(K-type). amplifiers(L TCI050), analog to digital converters(LTCI298), PIC16F87X microcontroller and radiometrix(TX2). The other is a receiving part which consists of radiometrix (RX2), MAX232 and a connection socket for serial communication. On the other hand, according to the telemetry system's software, transmission data is controlled by RS232C serial communication, received data can be monitored by the VC++(MFC) program.<br/>

This paper introduces a new approach to the measurement of low fluid velocities. A new type of anemometer uses a self-heated thermistor instead of a platinum hot-wire. The principle is based on hot-wire anemometer. To enhance the probe sensitivity to fluid velocity during reducing convection, the thermistor is kept at the lowest possible temperature. The heat removed from the thermistor is expressed by the characteristic function which depends not only on the fluid velocities but also on the fluid temperature. The cross-sensitivity of the probe to the fluid temperature is compensated. This process of temperature compensation and characteristic function makes accurate measurements possible with a simple configuration. The experimental result shows that it is an exact and useful air flow measurement device.<br/>
