In order to re-establish affordance theory in space and apply it to space design, the spatial composition method based on Legio Emilia’s educational theory concept was reinterpreted as affordance concept, and several cases were selected and analyzed from the spatial composition and interpretation. Previously, affordance in space was acted on or considered as a phenomenon in and out of space, such as furniture and decoration, but this study could confirm the possibility of a perceived affordance design by reconstructing a clear and specific process in constructing a space where perceived affordance and environment interact. By configuring various environments, a space with deeper human-centered interactions than the existing space is formed by causing collisions with users.

Space evolves from the concept of deterministic static location to a dynamic, connected area through the interference of the user. While this does incorporate physical changes of the space, it also reflects the changes of the program or characteristics of the space through the actions and changes of the user. Therefore, in this study we plan to review the characteristic of time appearing within space, thereby discussing the impact of changing of condition in time-space to the decision making of the user. Further, we plan to analyze the specific causes, and subsequently introduce a new perspective over space. In order to achieve this, we need to first understand the reason why the attribute of time needs to be discussed in space, and perform a fundamental analysis of factors for the changes of the users’ actions following changes in space-time condition. This means that space is not limited to merely satisfying its innate objective as an area, but may have a basis for modifying its role to help the decision making of the users caused by changes in space-time conditions. Accordingly, we analyze the factors for change of environment that can appear in space following the flow of time caused by correlation in space-time, as well as psychological factors and variables for decision making by the users. Based on this, we analyze cases to study the influence of condition changes in time-space on the action decision judgment of the users. Through this, we propose that the actions of the users can be determined following changes in time-space conditions, and discuss the need for changes in our perspective of space.

Due to development of digital technology, a concept of stage design management is being changed. In addition, stage management technique is changing a viewpoint of the audience watching a stage through the convergence of analogue and digital technology. Three-dimensional media such as LED and hologram and works combining with previous stage performances are rising, and the audience’s requirements about spectacles on the stage are increasingly higher. Interaction between a stage, audiences and actors is a communication tool by a work story and its direction. In other words, stage design should newly focus on not only concluded work story but also comprehensive delivery of direction and the expression and extreme delivery. Therefore, this study aims to examine how to combine analogue and digital direction elements in the stage design. To this end, this study looks into everything the audience feels through performances and analogue and digital elements directed for performances and then analyzes and arranges them to present a possibility of various types of work performances. Stage structure, set, and lighting that are analogue direction elements are the basis of stage performance. Analogue direction elements mean a media vehicle that can differentiate except for basic direction of each work. This study aims to analyze new performance culture when analog and digital direction elements are combined through stage performance and a possibility of new stage performance. In addition, through this it desired to seek for a development possibility of Korean leisure culture and art culture. As the work cases, this study shows 10 works through actual stage performances held in Korea and introduces elements directed in those works.

Design is one of diverse human communication activities. Development of technologies has led to execution of more active design communication functions, stirring social and cultural changes. The concept of design communication has become stronger by overcoming the limitations of verbal communication and expanding the methods of communication. These social changes are highlighted In the design of modern space. Even though communication in interior design activities is so important, detailed studies on communication of each entity are still very insufficient. Design communication refers to tools and activities for overall communications in the design process. In design activities, relevant communication is indispensible. Therefore, studies on practical communication methods are essential for accurate communication of content that has to be shared in the results or in the process of obtaining the results, rather than only focusing on the future techniques and functions of design. In other words, improving the efficiency of interior design communication requires establishing a communication relationship structure of each entity, which calls for proper expression methods depending on each entity. Therefore, this study is aimed at exploring efficient expression methods in line with the relationship structure of each entity in the interior design process.
