In case of newly constructed office buildings, the construction types of their vertical envelope are almost curtain-wall system or high WWR. These kinds of buildings have problems with energy efficiency. So, national regulations on building energy efficiency have been established, but the regulations focused on the U-value, air leakage and SC of window. The building which have large windows on their vertical envelopes is influenced by solar energy. Therefore, window’s optical properties; SHGC, VLT are important factors for building energy. In this study, the correlation between glazing performance(U-value, SHGC and VLT) and energy consumption in office buildings was analyzed with simulation. EnergyPlus was used for building energy simulation. The main results of this study are as follows; 1) As U-value is decreased, heating energy is decreased within a range of 34.3% and cooling energy is increased within a range of 10.1% . And the sum of heating, cooling and lighting energy is minimum at U-value 1.20 W/㎡ ℃. 2) As SHGC is decreased, heating energy is increased within a range of 28% and cooling energy is decreased within a range of 29%. And the sum of heating, cooling and lighting energy is dramatically decreased, because the change of cooling energy is greater than heating energy. 3) As VLT is decreased, the increment of heating energy and the decrement of cooling energy are alike.

Asbestos hazards have been studied by many people. Approximately 10% of slate containing asbestos, and asbestos which was imported in the 1970s was used to construct as building materials. The slate company, Asano which is located in Young-san in 1930's becomes the beginning and the slate is coming to be used until recently. Since 1960 in the aftermath of the Korea Saemaul Movement it was greatly expanded slate industry. Slate containing Asbestos and the surface is likely to drift over time, the government managed the comprehensive plan of 2010 Asbestos slate farmhouse in the National Survey on the usage of the progress and improve farmers slate roof construction. Non-conventional evaluation of the slate there is no index, especially in the concentration of urban population exposure to asbestos is a wide but a range of survey data on an unprecedented situation is urgent so long-term management measures are urgently needed. In this study, slate intergovernmental basic data for comprehensive measures proposed.
소규모 건축물에 적용된 SCW 형식의 GWHP 시스템의 운전방식에 따른 냉난방시 지하수 온도 특성에 관한 연구

Standing column well(SCW) in ground water heat pump(GWHP) system that is well known for the high efficient heating and cooling system was introduced in Korea 2004, and has been applied in large facilities. Therefore the research of optimum planning of the standing column well for small facilities should be made. Accordingly, this research is aimed to understand the characteristics of underground water as heating and cooling source of the standing column well system that is applied in a small building in accordance with operation methods during heating and cooling. And these results also offers DB(database) for planing of the efficient standing column well systems, which are able to prevent the waste of underground water. For this research, the thermocouples were installed at 10 spots in the well, and the data on temperature of underground water were collected through the data logger all the year round. And temperature changes of the underground water were analyzed by shifting the operation methods of the standing column well system. Differences in the temperature of underground water in accordance with operation methods are clearly defined. Therefore, these findings are expected to contribute to constructing DB required for the optimum planning of small-scale SCW in GWHP system.

Today, due to the global environmental problems and energy depletion the need for alternative energy and its saving has increases. Therefore, buildings built nowadays has a facility of something new or innovative and they playa major role as both education and advertisement. After Taegu city has been selected for Solar City, alternative energy use becomes the duty for public buildings and by trying to follow this trend, Taegu city has a plan to build solar energy system in large buildings. For instance, a solar energy system is going to be built at a EXCO, exhibition and convention building. But before doing this project, a pattern of energy consumption is required.<br/> Therefore, the purpose of a study was to analyze a pattern of electric energy consumption on EXCO, the large exhibition building, A pattern will be categorized in four ways, by a year, month, day and an hour. This survey will be used as important data for studying solar energy system and finding its results.

The damages on buildings and urban facilities caused by disaster from climatic change is unpredictable. Moreover, the scale and power of disaster are totally different from what we have undergone. so it's almost hard to cope with. According to climate changing, the grade of natural disaster getting worth. It is really dangerous fact in point that natural disaster like flood causes to cut off the urban energy supply, municipal lifeline, and bring the emergency to city. As the sudden urbanization and centralization, damage is serious. It's an important theme to secure its function in the urban environmental engineering field about buildings which are thought it's important just like business, a hospital and a government office in case of emergency. It's possible to utilize a concept of a safe household and apply it by a casting plan of emergency energy demand and supply in an urban area for high urban function town‘s preparation in the time of disaster. In this paper, when natural disaster in an urban area with climatic change, for proposing to introduce a concept of safe house and safe housing as a building including a concept of special dwelling of the restored dimension. we search not also maintenance of function in a building but the order of priority-like plot of emergency energy demand and supply between the building in the city and we'll prepare basic material in a safe area and a safe house as management system of the city unit about emergency energy securement and system of supply and demand.
