In automobile frame work, thin walled box-sectional members are widely used. In such members, obliquely jointed ones can be often found. Exact solutions of stress distribution and the strain for such members are very difficult owing to complicated strain at obliquely jointed part. However, the designer of automobile body structure must know the stress distribution and the strain on them for their more resonable design. In this report, an approximate estimation obtained by changing actual automobile frame of the obliquely jointed box-sectional member into simply simulated model for structural analysis is reported. Estimated models are four kinds of obliquely attached angles of 0°, 30°, 45° and 60°.<br/> <br/>
