        Biosurf actant를 이용한 유화

        천연계면활성제인 lysolecithin과 오일성분인 squalane(SQ), liquid paraffin(LP), octylpalminate(OP), octylstearate(OS), alkylbenzoate (AB), isostearylbenzoate (ISB)를 사용하여 제조된 에멀젼의 입자의 크기, 형상을 광산란 장치를 사용하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 동적광산란실험을 통하여 에멀전입자는 크기가 150nm~250nm로서 subemulsion 임을 확인하였고, 오일상의 농도가 0.25wt%에서 입자의 크기가 감소하다가 증가하는 오일의 임계농도가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 SQ에서 ISB의 순으로 오일의 극성이 증가할수록 입자의 크기가 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 정적광산란을 통하여 산란강도의 각도의존성으로부터 관성회전반경(Rg)를 구할 수 있었고 Rg/Rh 로부터 극성류인 ISB, AB의 입자형태는 구형, 반극성인 OP, OS는 타원형 그리고 비극성류인 LP, SQ는 막대형에 가까운 형태임을 알 수 있었다. 제조된 에멀젼의 점도는 구형입자에 비하여 막대형 입자의 점도가 높음을 알 수 있었다. The o/w emulsions were prepared by lysolecithin as a biosurfactantsto to emulsify oils with squalane(SQ), liquid paraffin(LP), octylpalmitate(OP), octylstearate(OS), alkyl benzoate(AB), isostearyl benzoate(ISB). The droplets size and shape of o/w emulsions were investigated by laser light scattering. With dynamic light scattering hydrodynamic radius(Rh) of emulsion droplets was varied from 150nm to 250nm and critical concentration of oil in which the hydrodynamic radius(Rh) of emulsion droplets decreased and increased was found in the point of 0.5wt% oil concentration, and it was found increasing the polarity of oil deccreased the droplets, the droplets size of SQCpolar oil) were lower than SQ(nonpolar oil).) With static light scattering radius of gyration(Rg) of emulusion droplets was to be calculated. From measurements of the ratio of Rg/Rh it was found that the shape of droplet of ISB, AB(poIar oils) were sphere, for OP, OS(apolar oil) were oblate, for LP, SQ(nonpolar oil) were rod. The viscosity of emulsion in the form of rod was higher than that of emulsion in the form of sphere.

        당류계 계면활성제로 제조된 o/w 에멀젼의 구조

        당류계 계면활성제인 sucrose distearate(SllO), sucrose monostearate(S160), POE(20) methyl glucose stearate(SSE20)과 오일성분인 알칸 계열의 탄화수소 hexane(C6), decane(Cio), tetradecane(Ci4), octadecane(Cis)과 squalane(SQ), liquid paraffin(LP), octylpalminate(OP), octylstearate(OS), alkylbenzoate(AB), isostearylbenzoate(ISB)를 사용하여 에멀젼을 제조 하였으며 에멀젼 입자의 구조 형태는 광산란법을 이용하여 fractal 차원으로 나타내었다. 에멀젼 입자의 fractal 차원은 오일의 농도 및 탄소수와 오일의 비극성이 증가함에 따라 크게 나타났다. fractal 차원은 대부분 1.7~2.8으로 입자의 구조 형태는 fractal 구조를 이루고 있으나, S110계와 S160계의 C18) SQ, 내의 fractal 차원은 3.0-3.2으로 내부 구조가 비교적 조밀한 회합체 구조를 형성하였다. S160계와 S110계의 fractal 차원은 2.1-2.6으로 서로 비슷한 fractal 구조를 형성하며, SSE20의 fractal 차원는 1.5-2.1으로 S160계 및 S110계 보다 덜 조밀한 회합체 구조를 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 입자의 구조 형태는 오일과 계면활성제의 종류에 영향을 받으며 계면활성제의 친수부가 동일하면 비슷한 구조를 형성하였으며 S160의 친수부 구조인 sucrose보다 SSE20의 polyoxye仕iylene group에 의한 장애효과가 더욱 크게 나타났다. The o/w emulsions were prepared with saccharide surfactants which were sucrose monostearate(S 160), sucrose distearate(S110), and POE(20) methyl glucose stearate(SSE20). And for emulsion the oils used were n-hydocarbon, squalane(SQ), liquid paraffin(LP), octylpa!mitate(OP), octylstearate(OS), alkyl benzoate(AB)5 isostearyl benzoate(ISB). The structures of o/w emulsion droplet were investigated by laser light scattering and the fractal dimensions were calculated from light intensity curves. Increasing of concentration, chain length, and nonpolarity of oils, fractal dimensions of emulsion droplets were found greater. In general fractal dimensions were varied from 1.7 to 2.8 and its structures were fractal. But the fractal dimensions of octadecane(Cis), SQ, and LP emulsified with SI 10 and SI60 were varied from 3.0 to 3.2 and its structures were more dense. The overall fractal dimensions of S110 and S】60 were varied from 2.1 to 2.6,that of SSE20 were varied from 1.5 to 2,1. So it was found that the structures of SSE20 system were less compact than that of SI 10 and SI60 system, because the hindrance effect of polyoxyehtylene group of SSE20 was stronger than that of sucrose of SI60. The strucures of emulsion droplets changed according to the nature of emulsifiers and to compositions of oil substances which they contained, and the structures were found similar when the hydophilic moiety of emulsifiers was same.

        합성 항균제를 대체하기 위한 천연물질의 항균 효과

        화장품 항균제로 사용되는 합성물질인 paraben과 천연물질인 aroma oil의 항균력을 비교하였다. Aroma oil은 pine, rosemary, lemon, eucalyptus와 paraben은 methylparaben, butylparaben을 사용하였으며 각 농도는 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0wt%으로 하였다. 대상 균주는 그람양성균인 Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC No. 6538), Bacillus subtilis(ATCC No. 6633)와 그람음성균인 Escherichia coli (ATCC No. 8739), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(ATCC No. 9027)을 사용하였으며, 항균력은 disk paper method와 broth dilution method로 측정하였다. Aroma oil과 praben의 항균력은 그람음성균보다 그람양성균에 대하여 우수하게 나타났으며, aroma oil이 paraben보다 높은 항균효과를 보였다. Aroma oil은 eucalyptus, lemon, pine, rosemary 순으로 항균력이 높게 나타났으며, butylparaben이 methylparaben보다 우수하게 나타났다. Rosemary와 pine을 각각 단독으로 사용했을때 보다 3/1의 비율로 혼합하였을 때 항균력이 더욱 우수하게 증가하는 상승효과를 나타내었다. Aroma oils extracted from the natural material have antibacterial, antivirus, antiinflammatory, and preservative effect. The preserve efficacy testing between aroma oils and parabens as an artificial preservative had been performed and then it had been suggested that aroma oil was possibile to apply to the cosmetics. Aroma oils were pine, rosemary, lemon and eucalyptus, and parabens were methylparaben, blitylparaben. Antiseptic concentrations of aroma oils and parabens having 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0wt% were tested respectively. Escherichia coil(ATCC No.8739), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(ATCC No. 9027) which are gram-negative and Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC No. 6538), Bacillus subtilis(ATCC No. 6633) which are gram-positive were used as the test organisms. Disk paper and broth dilution methods were used as the methods of preservative efficacy testing. The antibacterial activity of aroma oils and parabens for gram-positive were better than that for gram-negative. For the antibacterial activity aroma oils were better than parabens. Among the aroma oils, rosemary and pine having superior antibacterial activity were selected and blended to illuminate if there is any synergy, There was synergical effect and optimum ratio of aroma blend is 3 : 1(rosemary pine) in this study.

      • Inositol-Hexaphosphoric Acid의 피부노화방지

        The anti-skinaging effects on woman's skin were investigated with inositol-hexaphosphoric acid(IP_6). The concentrations (wt%) of IP_6 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0. The IP_6-skin lotions were applied on the arms and face of the subjects everyday for 7 weeks. The moisture, lightening, sebum, elasticity and wrinkle of the skin were measured. The experimental instruments were corneometer, sebumeter, autometer, mexameter. MX-16 and image analyzer. It showed that IP_6 substantially improved the subject's skin condition. The moisture value changed from 47 to 89, the sebum values of dry and oily skins changed close to that of normal skins, lightening of the skin changed from 490 to 461, elasticity changed from 0.118 to 0.134, and the improvement on wrinkle was 12.9%. With the experimental results the 0.4-IP_6 skin lotion showed the best results.
