        Research on Coupling Coordination Evaluation of Sustainable Land Use and Economic Development: A Case Study of Guangdong Province, China

        Sustainable land use is an essential part of the regional natural ecosystem. Likewise, economic development is needed for national prosperity, societal progress, and the high living standards of people. However, some regions blindly pursue economic development and ignore sustainable land use, reducing the level of sustainable land use and hindering economic development. Hence, exploring the coupling coordination between sustainable land use and economic development is conducive to the overall economic development and land protection in any region. Hence, this study collected data on the land use and economic development in Guangdong Province, China for 2008 and 2019 and established the evaluation index system of sustainable land use and economic development for the province. Further, a coupling coordination model of sustainable land use and economic development was established to measure and analyze the level of coupling and coordination between sustainable land use and the land use subsystems, and economic development in the province, respectively. The results of the measurement and analysis were as follows. The sustainable land use and regional economic evaluation values of the province changed during 2018 - 2019. In addition, the respective coupling coordination levels of the two sustainable land use subsystems maintained an upward trend during the period. Meantime, the contribution of the overall development of the two subsystems to their respective coupling coordination degree had been increasing during the period. In particular, this coupling coordination degree had changed from a low to a good coupling coordination stage. Hence, the construction of environmental facilities should further be improved to realize the ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable development of land resources in the province. In particular, the province should promote the optimization of industrial structure and develop tertiary and high-tech industries to coordinate sustainable land use and economic development in the province.

        중국 하북성 탕산시 농업인의 토지유통 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which influencing factors impact the transference willingness of farmers. The research method is based on the survey data on transference willingness, and the binary logistic model was used to analyze the influencing factors. The results show that the educational level, annual household income, farm labor, and farmers' understanding of land transfer policy notably influence land transfer. Based on the results, suggestions include improving farmers' social security system, improving a sound market for rural land transfer, and deepening the promotion and explanation of land-related policies. 이 연구의 목적은 각각의 요인들이 농업인의 토지 유통 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위함임. 본 논문은 중국탕산시 농민의 토지 유통 의향조사자료를 토대로 로지스틱스회귀 모형을 활용해 농민의 토지 유통 영향을 미치는 요인을분석하였음. 그 결과 농민의 교육수준, 총가족소득, 노동력, 토지정책 이해도가 토지유통에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타남. 그러므로, 우리는 탕산의 농촌 토지 유통을 활성화하고, 농지사용의 효율성을 증진시키기 위해서 사회보장제도를 개선하고, 농촌의 토지 유통 시장을 구축하며, 토지정책을 선전해야 함.

        A Three-Stage DEA-Based Efficiency Evaluation of Broiler Breeding in China

        Broiler chickens are one of the essential meats for residents in China. To analyze and improve the efficiency of broiler chicken breeding and to promote the industry's healthy and stable development is of great significance, improving international competitiveness in China. The three-stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) model estimated the production efficiency of broiler breeding in 13 provinces of China in 2020. The results showed that China's broiler production efficiency was generally at a low level, that the average value of technical efficiency for Stage 1 was 0.595, and that there are differences between efficiencies of the regions. After removing facts about the environment and random interference, the average value of technical efficiency for Stage 3 was 0.630, and the efficiency in most areas had increased. The impact of per capita GDP and market openness on broiler production efficiency was not noticeable, but agricultural support affected broiler production efficiency. Therefore, this study puts forward countermeasures, such as strengthening investment in science and technology and actively cultivating and introducing high-quality breeds, promoting the development of appropriate-scale broiler chicken breeding according to local conditions, and we suggest increasing government support to improve the scale of breeding.

        Analysis of Broiler Production Cost-Revenue and Efficiency in Jilin Province, China

        Because it is the main area for producing broiler chickens, a cost-revenue and production efficiency analysis of Jilin Province is significant. Based on data in the National Agricultural Product Cost-Revenue Data Compilation, cost-revenue and production efficiency of broiler production in Jilin Province for 2007 to 2020 was analyzed using panel data and the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model. The results showed that broiler production costs in Jilin Province rose overall, but were still lower than the national mean. Concentrated feed costs accounted for the largest proportion of the cost structure, followed by newborn animal costs (for chicks). The technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency, and scale efficiency of broiler chicken production in Jilin Province from 2007 to 2020 were 0.991, 0.994, and 0.997, respectively. Broiler chicken production was still in a state of high input and low output, and had a non-economic scale phenomenon, so its technical efficiency should be improved. The research results determined the purpose of improving the development of the broiler industry, combined with the specific conditions of broiler production in Jilin Province. This study puts forward corresponding suggestions in terms of attaching importance to the development and application of broiler production technology, large-scale breeding, and the development of intensive management.

        The Research on Technical Efficiency and Influence Factors of Chinese Cabbage Production in China

        중국 배추 생산의 기술 효율 변동 및 그 영향요인을 탐구하기 위해 기술효율 이론에 근거하여 본 연구는 27개 성과 시의 2012~2019년 기간 내의 216개 샘플 데이터를 활용하여 초월 대수 생산함수 모델을 구축하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 중국 배추 생산기술의 효율은 평균 0.880로, 기술 효율성에 현저한 손실이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 각 지역별 채소 생산기술 수준은 서로 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 이 평균기술 효율을 높은 순으로 나열하면, 동북지역, 화동지역, 서북지역, 화북지역, 화중지역, 서남지역, 화남지역의 순이다. 대규모 농업생산 성(지역)과 경제발달 지역의 배추 생산기술은 비교적 높다. 동시에 비료 투입과 기온운 배추 생산 기술의 효율성 향상에 긍정적이며, 피해 면적은 기술 효율성 향상에 부정적인 영향을 준다. 따라서, 중국 배추산업의 질적 발전을 위해, 본 연구는 데이터 분석 결과에 의거하여 배추생산의 규모화 운영과 배추생산 품질 안전 및 기술 보급 강화 등의 측면에서 개선방안을 제시하게 된다. This paper aims to explore the changes in the technical efficiency of Chinese cabbage production and its influencing factors. This paper uses 216 sample data from 2012 to 2019 in China"s 27 provinces to construct a Trans-log production function model based on the theoretical basis of technical efficiency. The analysis results show that the Chinese cabbage"s average production technical efficiency is 0.880, and there is a significant loss of technical efficiency. Furthermore, there is a big difference in the level of technical efficiency of Chinese cabbage production in various regions. The average technical efficiency from high to low is in Northeastern China, Eastern China, Northwestern China, Northern China, Central China, Southwestern China, and Southern China. The technical efficiency of Chinese cabbage in large agricultural provinces and more developed regions is generally higher. At the same time, the chemical fertilizer input and temperature positively affect the technical efficiency of Chinese cabbage production. In contrast, the disaster area harms the improvement of technical efficiency. Therefore, this paper puts forward suggestions to develop the scale of Chinese cabbage production, ensuring the quality and safety of Chinese cabbage production, and strengthening technology promotion. All this is based on the analysis results expected to promote the high-quality development of China"s Chinese cabbage industry.

        Evaluation of Grain Security in China’s Major Grain-Producing Areas Based on the Entropy Weight TOPSIS Method

        주요 식량 생산지역은 중국의 식량 안보를 보장하기 위한 핵심점이다. 본 연구는 주요 식량 생산지역으로부터의 쟁점 사항들에 접근해보고 공급용량, 식량 가용성과 식량 지속성의 세 가지 측면에 대하여 2010년부터 2019년 사이의 중국의 식량 안보를 전반적으로 평가하기 위하여 Entropy-weight TOPSIS 방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면 시간적 차원에서 안후이성, 허베이성, 헤이룽장성, 네이멍구성와 쓰촨성 지방의 식량 안보 수준은 상승하며 변동하였고; 허난성과 후베이성의 식량 안보 수준은 상대적으로 안정적이었으며; 다른 6개 지방은 변동성 있는 하락을 보여주었다. 공간적 측면으로 보면, 쓰촨성 지방을 제외하고, 다른 지방의 식량 안보 상태는 일반적으로 중상위 수준이었다. 최근 10년 동안, 후난성 지방이 전국 평균 생산량 1위를 차지하며 최상의 식량 안보 수준을 보여주었던 반면에 쓰촨성은 식량생산에 있어 최하위를 차지하였다. 마지막으로, 식량 생산 능력을 확보하고, 식량 생산을 안정화하며, 식량 가용성을 보장하기 위한 전체적 계획과 전략을 강화하고, 식량 생산의 지속가능성을 확보하기 위해 식량을 과학적으로 경작하기 위하여 관련한 정책 제안을 식량 안보를 보장하기 위하여 제시하였다. The major grain-producing areas are the key to ensuring China"s grain security. This paper approached the issue from major grain-producing areas, and used the entropy weight TOPSIS method to comprehensively evaluate the grain security of China from 2010 to 2019 from the three dimensions of supply capacity, grain availability, and grain sustainability. The results show that, from the time dimension, the grain security levels of Anhui, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Sichuan provinces fluctuated upwards; the grain security levels of Henan and Hubei were relatively stable; the other six provinces showed a volatility decline. From the perspective of space, except for Sichuan province, the grain security status of the other provinces was generally at the upper-middle level. In the past ten years, Hunan province boasted the highest level of grain security, whose average output ranks first while Sichuan ranks last in grain production. Finally, the relevant policy recommendations from ensuring grain production capacity and stabilizing grain output, strengthening overall planning and deployment to ensure grain availability, and growing grain scientifically to ensure the sustainability of grain production were proposed to ensure grain security.

        Evaluation of Grain Production Efficiency in the Main Grain Producing Areas in China Based on a Three Stage DEA Model

        식량 생산 효율성은 경제 및 자원 사회의 지속가능한 발전의 중요한 요인이며, 중국의 식량안보 및 지역 경제의 평가 척도가 된다. 경지면적이 제한되고 도시화가 급속히 진행되는 배경에서 식량 생산 효율성을 합리적으로 평가하고 식량 생산 현황을 정확히 인식하며 식량 생산 효율성을 높이는 효과적인 경로를 모색하는 것은 중요한 이론과 현실적 의미가 있다. 본 연구는 3단계 DEA 모델을 이용하여 2007년부터 2019년까지의 자료를 바탕으로 중국에 있는 식량 주요 생산지역의 생산 효율성을 분석하였다. 외부환경변수인 도시화율, 농업 보조금 및 1인당 순수익이 중국 지역의 생산 효율성에 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 외부환경 및 임의오류를 제외한 후 중국 식량 주요 생산지역의 생산 효율성은 0.916에서 0.918로 증가하였고, 순수기술 효율성은 0.953에서 0.965로 증가하였으며, 규모 효율성은 0.962에서 0.952로 감소하였다. 분석결과, 중국 식량 주요 생산지역의 각 성은 생산 효율성을 개선하기 위해 각성의 특성에 적합한 생산 특정에 따라 관리수준을 제고하거나 생산규모를 확대해야 하는 것으로 분석되었다. There is a great theoretical and practical significance attached to the reasonable evaluation of the efficiency of grain production, recognition of the current situation of grain production, and exploration of effective ways to improve grain production efficiency against the background of the limited cultivable area and rapid progress of urbanization. Based on the data of 13 main grain-producing areas in China from 2007 to 2019, this study adopted the method of three-stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) to analyze agricultural production efficiency. The results revealed that exogenous environmental variables had a marked impact on grain production efficiency. The three-stage DEA model can reflect the level of food production efficiency in the main grain-producing areas more accurately, so the focus should be on formulating efficiency improvement strategies according to the local realities.

        중국 허베이성의 채소 산업의 발전은 이미 농민의 소득 증대를 촉진하는 중요한 경로로 되고 있으며 생태환경 오염, 자연 자원 부족 등 문제가 날로 심각해지는 상황에서 채소 산업의 고품질 발전을 실현하기 위해서는 반드시 채소산업의 생산효율을 제고함으로써 실현해야 한다. 농가의 생산성 제고를 위한 효율성 측정이 중요하다. 특히 효율성 계측시 농가의 자본투입, 토지투입 등 현실적 투입 고려가 필요하다. 본 연구는 국내외 연구 성과를 바탕으로 허베이성 2011-2018 채소 생산 투입량, 산출량 데이터, 맴퀴스트 지수와 DEA 모델을 바탕으로 허베이성 산업의 생산 효율성을 연구하였다. 효율성 계측 결과를 이용하여 비효율성의 원인을 규명하고, 농가 효율성 향상을 위한 대안을 제시한다. 분석을 통해 기술 진보 요인이 허베이성의 채소 생산능률의 증가에 영향을 미치는 중요한 원인이라는 것을 발견했다. 연구결과에 따라 본 연구는 채소 생산기술 수준을 제고하는 목적에 기초하여 허베이성 채소 생산의 구체적인 조건과 결합하여 채소 생산기술의 개발과 응용, 기계화 생산, 집약화 경영 발전 등 방면에서 상응하는 대책과 건의를 제기할 것이다. The development of the vegetable industry in Hebei province has become an important way to increase a farmer"s income. Under the background of increasingly serious problems, such as environmental pollution and the shortage of natural resources, it is necessary to improve the production efficiency of the vegetable industry to achieve high-quality development of the vegetable industry. Based on collating research results at home and abroad, this study selected the 2011-2018 vegetable production input and output data of Hebei Province. The production efficiency of Hebei Province"s industry was studied based on the Malmquist index and DEA model. The analysis showed that technological progress is an important factor in improving the vegetable production efficiency in Hebei Province. Based on the research results, the level of vegetable production technology, combined with the specific conditions of vegetable production in Hebei Province, can be improved by developing and applying vegetable production technology, mechanized production, and intensive management development.
