        The sled test equipment is a simulated crash test system that applies an acceleration pulse corresponding to the deceleration pulse of the vehicle’s body generated during an actual vehicle collision using a catapult system. Since the sled rail is composed of a unidirectional rail parallel to the axial direction of the catapult, only the dynamic behavior of the dummy in the direction of the sled rail according to impact of the catapult. Therefore, it is impossible to continuously implement a multiple collision mode in which the main axial direction of the collision is rushed according to time using only the general sled test equipment. This study is an introduction to a new sled test method to reproduce the multiple collision mode in which the secondary collision in the forward direction occurs after a certain point after the primary collision in the lateral direction of the vehicle. In order to provide the amount of impact to the vehicle body and to reproduce the behavior in the case of an atypical multiple collision in which the second collision occurs after the first collision, each collision event is separated from the overall collision process, and the lateral impact and behavior of the vehicle body that occurred during the first collision is reproduced. In order to do this, new test device such as an impactor and a linear motion guide were additionally configured in the sled test equipment.
