In this paper, we implement an audio conferencing system for group communications using RTP(Real Time Transport Protocol) on the MBone(Multicast Backbone). The audio conferencing system is developed in Windows 95 environment at PC and supports various capabilities of audio mixing, several audio encoding schemes, playout synchronization and so on. Also, our system improves transmission efficiency with silence detection and gives better audio conferencing quality using echo cancellation technique.

In this paper, we implement a video conferencing system for Internet in Windows 95 environment at PC. This video conferencing system uses RTP(Realtime Transport Protocol) and MBone(Multicast Backbone) for more efficient multiparty video communications. Also, MMG(Multiple Multicast Groups) concept is employed in order that each layer of encoded video stream is broadcasted on the MBone using different IP muticast adds. The receiver can play out video stream using optimum number of IP multicast channels according to network congestion status.

Many researches have been focused on optimal designs of a pole shape in order to reduce cogging torques, which are generated between permanent magnets and slots. In this paper, an adaptive controller is proposed for reducing the effect of cogging torques in servo motors. The controller stabilizes the control system and shows an excellent trajectory tracking performance compared to the conventional PD controller.

A lumped parameter model of Liion battery in hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) is constructed and system parameters are identified by using recursive least square estimation for different Crates, SOCs and temperatures. The system characteristics of pole and zero in frequency domain are analyzed with the parameters obtained from different conditions. The parameterized model of Liion battery indicates highly dependant of temperatures. The system pole and internal resistance changes 6.6 and 18 times at 20℃, comparing with those at 25℃, respectively. These results will be utilized on constructing modelbased state observer or an online identification and an adaptation of the model parameters in battery management systems for hybrid electric vehicle applications.
