N/A [Ga]-MFI and H-ZSM-5 catalysts were synthesized under atmospheric pressure and used in the propylene aromatization. The effect of temperature on the product distribution was also investigated. The catalytic activities of the prepared catalysts were compared with the commercialized H-ZSM-5 which was converted from NH_4-ZSM-5. In the propylene aromatization, product distribution does not depend on the ratio of Si/Ga_2 with [Ga]-MFI catalyst, but depend on the ratio of Si/Al_2 with H-ZSM-5 catalyst. [Ga]-MFI catalyst shows better dehydrogenation and alkylation activities than H-ZSM-5 catalyst. The addition of Ga to H-ZSM-5 catalyst increases the conversion of propylene, selectivity to aromatics, and alkylation. In the propylene aromatization, the selectivity to aromatics slightly increased with increasing temperature with [Ga]-MFI catalyst, while slightly decreased with increasing temperature with H-ZSM-5 catalyst.

This study was conducted to find a catalyst system which has high conversion and selectivity for the oxidative coupling of methane to produce ethane and ethylene. Various catalysts were tested in a fixed bed reactor ar 750℃, 1 atm, and the feed ratio(CH_4/O_2) of 2/1. Under the reaction condition, 10wt% PbSO_4/MgO catalyst showed the highest catalytic activity : methane conversion, C_2 selectivity and yield were 50, 40 and 20%, respectively. Catalysts containing sulfate compounds, 10wt%PbSO_4/MgO, 10wt%MgSO_4/MgO and Na_2SO_4/MgO revealed a moderate methane conversions such as 38, 50 and 50%, respectively and low C_2 selectivities such as 18, 5 and 9%, respectively. Catalysts containing carbonate compounds, 10wt%PbCO_3/MgO, 10wt%Li_2CO_3/MgO and NaCO_3/MgO, also showed a moderate methane conversions such as 64, 44 and 51%, respectively and low C_2 selectivities such as 5, 6 and 2%, respectively. With the existence of chlorine and mercury, C_2 selectivity was decreased.

n-Octanoic acid, MJU-100A, Tetronix T-701, POE(6)-2-ethylhexyl ether, Newpol PE-68, 솔비톨 및 인산 등을 블렌딩하여 산성탈지제(ADA)를 제조하였다. ADA로서 알루미늄 시료편을 택하여 여러 가지 물성시험을 해 본 결과, ADA-5의 농도 3wt%, 70℃의 조건에서 탈지율은 98%로서 양호한 탈지효과를, etching율은 0.277%로서 시판품 보다 더 낮은 etching율을 각각 나타내었다. 또한 ADA-5의 농도 20wt%, 65℃의 조건에서 제청율은 93%였고, Ross and Miles법과 Ross and Clark법에 의한 저기포력시험 결과 양호한 소포효과를 보여주었다. Acidic degreasing agent(ADA) was prepared by blending n-octanoic acid, MJU-l00A, Tetronix T-701, POE(6)-2-ethylhexyl ether, Newpol PE-68, sorbitol, and phosphoric acid. The physical properties of ADA tested with aluminum specimen showed the following results ; when 3wt% ADA-5 was performed at 70℃, the degreasing rate was 98% which is comparitively good, and the percentage of etching was 0.277% which was found to be less than that of commercialized product. When 20wt% of ADA-5 was added at 65℃, the percentage of derusting was 93% and the good defoaming effect proved by following low foaming power tests respectively : Ross and Miles, and Ross and Clark methods.
도데실기를 함유한 제4급 암모늄염의 합성과 감량촉진제로서의 응용

Some weight loss accelerating agents. dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride(DTAC), dodechltrimethylammonium chloride(PDBAC), and 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-benzyl-2-undecylimidazolinium chloride(AEUIC), were synthesized. As a result of weight loss treatment of the weight loss accelerating agents with NaOH to PET fiber, the increase of weight loss was the order of PDBAC > DDBAC > DTAC > DTAB > AEUIC. Among the weight loss accelerating agents, AEUIC hardly showed weight loss effect, and it was separated into two layer in the NaOH solution at the treatment concentration above 6g/L, but POBAC showed good weight loss effect of 21% that approach almost to a theoretical weight loss, 21.6%, at the concentration above 8g/L.

Polyoxyethylene(30) octadecylbenzylammonium chloride(POAC), propylene oxide와 ethylene oxide의 블럭 공중합체[p(PO-b-EO)glycol], Sedlan FF-200(FF-200) 및 polyoxyethylene(10) nonylphenyl ether의 술폰산-아민축합물 (PSAC) 등을 블렌딩하여 무용제형 저기포성 정련제(LFSA)를 제조하였다. LFSA로서 여러 가지 물성시험을 해 본 결과, FF-200/POAC/p(PO-b-EO) glycol/PSAC/water(20g/10g/5g/5g/60g) 혼합물(LFSA-5)은 세정력, 침투력, 유화력, 알칼리 안정성 등이 양호하였으며, 수질오염에 대한 영향이 크지 않았다. LFSA-5의 정련효과는 정련전 후의 염색온도에 따른 염착률의 변화로서 확인하였는데, 정련전 PET 직물인 경우는 70℃에서 4.5%의 염착률을 나타낸데 반하여, LFSA-5로서 정련된 직물은 1.3%의 염착률을 나타냄으로써 LFSA-5의 정련효과가 양호함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 LFSA-5는 Ross and Miles법에 의한 거품 생성 직후의 기포력이 포고 6mm로 나타났고, Ross and Clark법에 의한 기포력이 30℃에서는 포고 300mm 이하로, 80℃에서는 20mm를 각각 나타내어 양호한 저기포성 정련제임이 입증되었다. Solvent-free low foaming scouring agents(LFSA) were prepared by blending of polyoxyethylene(30) octadecylbenzylammonium chloride(POAC), block copolymer of propylene oxide-ethylene oxide[p(PO-b-EO) glycol], Sedlan FF-200(FF-200) and sulfonic acid-amine condensate of polyoxyethylene(10) nonylphenyl ether(PSAC). In consequence of several tests, FF-200/POA C/p ( PO-b-EO) glycol/PSAC/water (20g/10g/5g/5g/60g) mixture (LFSA-5) showed good cleaning power, penetrating ability, emulsifiability and stability to alkali, and gave less problem in water pollution. Scouring effect of LFSA-5 was investigated by the change of percentage of exhaustion before and after scouring at various dyeing temperatures. The percentage of exhaustion of the unscoured PET fabric was 4.5% at 70℃, while that scoured with LFSA-5 was 1.3% at the same temperature, which proved LFSA-5 to be a good scouring agent. Moreover, the foaming power of LFSA-5 measured by Ross and Miles method was 6mm foam height immediately after foaming, and that measured by Ross and Clark method was less than 300mm foam height at 30℃, and 20mm at 80℃. As a result, LFSA-5 proved a good low foaming scouring agent.

Methanol was directly produced by the partial oxidation of methane with four-component mixed oxide catalysts. Four-component(Mo-Bi-Cr-Si) mixed oxide catalysts were prepared by the co-precipitation and sol-gel methods. The catalyst prepared by the sol-gel method showed about eleven times higher surface area than that prepared by the co-precipitation method. From the $O_2$-TPD experiment of the prepared catalysts, it was proven that there exists two types of oxygen species, and the oxygen species that participates in the partial oxidation reaction is the lattice oxygen desorbing around $750^{\circ}C$. The optimum reaction condition for methanol production was $420^{\circ}C$, 50 bar, flow rate of 115 mL/min, and $CH_4/O_2$ ratio of 10/1.5, providing methane conversion and methanol selectivity of 3.2 and 26.7%, respectively.

N/A Two PU flame-retardant coatings, 2,3-DBPO/N-100 (DBPON) and 2,3-DBPO/IL (DBPOI), were prepared by curing 2,3-dibromo modified polyester (2,3-DBPO) with isocyanate curing agent Desmodur N-100 (or Desmodur IL) at room temperature. The physical properties and flame-retardancy of the two coatings were tested and compared. As a result, the pot-life, yellowness index, lightness index difference, 60˚ specular gloss, cross-hatch adhesion, viscosity, and accelerated weathering resistance of DBPON were better than those of DBPOI; the fineness of grind of the two coatings were the same; and the drying time, hardness, and abrasion resistance of DBPOI were better than those of DBPON. The flame retardancy of the flame-retardant coatings increased with the content of the flame retarding component, 2,3-dibromopropanoic acid (2,3-DBP); and the LOI values of the two coatings were in a range of 27∼29% when the content of 2,3-DBP was 30wt%.
