방사선조사시 열처리의 효과를 알기 위하여 수도종자에 방사선조사시 열전후처리를 행하였던바M1 세대의 생물학적인 반응 및 M2 세대의 변이율에 대해 몇가지 결과를 얻었다. 1. 방사선선량 20kR에서 열전처리는 방사선단독조사에 비해 생물학적인 장해를 적게하고 변이율을 증가시켰다. 2. 방사선단독조사 및 조사전열처리에 비해 heat shocking으로서 열후처리하는 것은 변이율을 증가시켰다. 3. 열전처리에 의해 M1 세대의 장해가 적고 변이율이증가되는 가장 효과적인 열처리온도 및 시간은 60℃ 에서 30분간이었다. 4. 열처리는 방사선단독조사에 비해 mutation spectrum을 달리했다. For the purpose of finding out the effect of heat treatment on biological response and mutation rate, rice seeds were heat treated before and after gamma irradiation. 1. At a dose of 20 KR, pre-irradiation heat treatment showed reduced biological damage and increased mutation rate as compared with non-heat treatment. 2. Mutation frequency was increased in post-treatment of heat shock than in pre-irradiation heat treatment and non-heat treatment. 3. Pre-irradiation heat treatment at 60~circC for 30 minutes markedly reduced the biological damage and increased the mutation rate. 4. Mutation spectrum in heat treatment was different from non-treatment.

흉부 컴퓨터단층촬영(CT scan)을 시행한 환자 중 폐기종 소견을 보인 32례를 대상으로 각 질환에 따른 폐기종의 CT 소견을 분석하여 보았다. Pulmonary emphysema is an abnormal alveolar space produced by the destructive changes of the alveolar septae. CT scan supplies more reliable informations as low-density area or pulmonary vascular change than a simple view or fluorodensitometry. We studied the pattern of the pulmonary emphysema related to lung cancer, pulmonary tuberculosis and other mediastinal diseases. Total 32 cases were collected from Jan. 1989 to Sep. 1989, at Inje University, Seoul Paik Hospital. Lung cancer mainly showed distortion of the pulmonary vessels around the tumour mass. But ill-defined low-density areas as a compansatory emphysemas were seen in pulmonary tuberculosis as well as in remaining area in adjacent to passive collapsed portion of the other mediastinal diseases. The emphysematous changes were presented ranging from 10 to 100% of the CT cuts in the above cases and therefore no significant differences were considered.
