Recently PZT is used in ultra precision mechanism field. PZT itself has a small driving range although it has a high resolution. Many methods, such as inchworm, impact driving, inertial sliding method, etc., have been applied for moving range expansion. In this study, a new actuating mechanism for rotational motion with two driving PZT is proposed. The Fixed-Fixed beam support is applied for compensation of the difference in driving force between expansion and contraction of PZT. The behavior and design parameters of the proposed mechanism are analyzed for improving performance.
Analysis and Design of 3-DOF Parallel Mechanism Based on Kinematic Couplings

This paper presents a high-speed automatic micro-alignment system that is a part of an inspection machine for small-sized molded lenses of mobile phones, palm-top computers, and so on. This work was motivated by the shortcomings of existing highest-grade commercial machine. A simple tip/tilt/Z parallel mechanism is designed based on kinematic couplings, which is a 3-degree-of-freedom (3-DOF) moderate-cost alignment stage. It is used to automatically adjust the posture of each lens on the tray, which is impossible by the conventional instrument. Amplified piezoelectric actuators are used to ensure the accuracy and dynamic response. Forward kinematic analysis and simulation show that the parasitic motion is small enough compared to the actuator stroke. From the workspace analysis of the moving platform, it is clear that the output motion range satisfies the design requirements.

This paper presents die modeling mill control algorithm of a steer-by-wire (SBW) system for improving the performance of die vehicle. The control algorithm is based on die variable steering gain concept mid derived by using an enhanced reference yaw rate and lateral acceleration feedback. Finally this algorithm has combined with the ABS control algorithm. The lane change maneuver in die high ?? and ??-split conditions shows that the vehicle performance with proposed control is drastically enhanced not only in Inking performance, but also in directional stability

When vehicle is stayed at one spot or carried by transport for a long time, tire is deformed by environment elements. It is called tire flat spotting phenomenon. This tire deformation makes the vibration of the vehicle like steering wheel shake, body's under-floor tremble. This research analyzed the results which are induced by each environment elements and found the root causes of the tire flat spotting. It showed that the root causes are the carcass weakness and the stress concentration locally of tire tread applied to the tires. Finally this research suggests the re-occurrence test process for prevent of the tire flat spotting before tire mass production.
