토압에 대하여서는 1773년 Coulomb의 Wedge theory 이래 많은 연구발표가 있었다. Rankine 등에 의한 소성이론을 바탕으로 한 토압론, Boussinesq 등에 의한 해, Terzaghi 등의 실험적인 경험 등 많은 식이 있으나 현재 실제사용에는 대부분이 Coulomb와 Rankine의 두가지 토압론이다. 그런데 위의 두 토압론은 많은 가정으로 문제점이 내포되어 있으며 특히 벽의 이동현상에 대응하는 토압식이 없으므로 본고에서는 압력재분배법에 의한 방법을 논하고 위의 두 고전식과 비교해 보고자 한다.

A Study on the Coefficient of Permeability in Fine Soil By Sang Sook Han. In this studies, the special characteristies of soil and the various factors which exert inf-luences upon the coefficient of permeability of soil were studied through the physical experements, using Fine soil (Silt and Clay whose effective grain size is less than 0.05mm) as the study object. Especially it was tried to find out factor which exert the most important functions in the determination of the coefficient of permeability of soil, and to derive the empirical formula from which the coefficient of permealility is can be calculated. The summary of the results are as follows. 1. In the Coarse soil, the grain size plays absolute influence upon the coefficient of permeability, but in the Fine soil the grain size has little effects. 2. As regards to same Fine soil, there exist the following relation between the void ratio (e) and the coefficient of permeability (k) log k=Ae+B (Where A and B are constants) 3. As regards to the Non-plastic soil, it was found out that there exist the linear relation between k and e, even if the soil is of fine grain. 4. Regarding to the compound (or composition) shape factor(c), in case of sand the value of "c" is small and almost constant, but in Fine soil the balue of "c" is greater comparing to that of sand. 5. As regards to the Non activity clay, if the void ratio is 1, and the value "c" which is the clay constituent percentage plus the passable portion percentage to the #200 sieve, is more than 73% ?×10?cm/sec=-2.905C+5.853 but it the "c" value is 35to 72% the relation is ?×10?cm/sec=-16.555C+31.711 6. Purpose: This study was done to provide fundamental data for developing a depression prediction model by discovering main factors that affect depression in patients who do maintenance hemodialysis. Method: The subjects were 191 patients doing maintenance hemodialysis selected from outpatient dialysis clinics at 9 major general hospitals, The Instrument tools utilized in this study were adapted from depression, fatigue, sleep disturbance, stress, adaptation,symptoms, daily activities, and role limitation and thoroughly modified to verify reliability and validity. The collected data was analyzed with a SPSS-PC 11.0 Window Statistics Program for real numbers, percentage, average, standard deviation, and multiple regression. Results: The correlation factor for depression was (M=2.54) fatigue(M=3.12), sleep disturbance (M=2.82), stress(M=3.04), adaptation(M=2.53), daily activities(M=2.24), symptoms(M=2.37), and role limitation(M=2.24). The strongest factor that affected depression was explained by symptoms of the patients who performed hemodialysis. The analysis of the factors that affected depression revealed a 58.4% prediction in symptoms, stress, role limitation, and adaptation. Conclusion: It has been confirmed that the regression equation model(Depression=7.351 + .266*symptoms + .260*stress -.189*adaptation + .057*fatigue) of this research may serve as a prediction factor for depression in Hemodialysis Patients.

In order to accelerate the process of Consolidation settlement for the construction of some structures, the useful technique of building sand drains can be used. There are some methods for solving consolidation problems in the case of sand drains, but only this paper treated a study on the finite-difference technique.
