When deep hole drilling with BTA drill, there are serious problems such as accuracy of diameter, surface roughness to inhibit the required qualities. With the purpose of the accuracy improvement in deep hole drilling, we investigated the influence of the drilled hole accuracy and the cutting resistance of materials that occurred as the variation of the cutting condition after deep hole drilling with BTA drill on fuel oil supply pipe for large ship.

Gear is main machine element which is used for the power transmit device when it si short in the gear. We use a standard goods in the case of the gear. But in case of special purpose, we need to manufacture the gear that have different angles. In this paper, we manufactured standard gears using W-EDM and Hobbing machine. We got a 3D shape doing reverse engineering manufactured gears. And then compared CAD data and measured data. Finally we verified ADS through comparing ADS data and KISSsoft data.

This paper is the perfomance evaluation of reverse engineering system using simple mechanism. The existing equipment didn't use in the field popularly as it is too expensive. So we constructed the reverse engineering system of simple mechanism using the laser sensor, LM guide, micro step driver and control program. And we caught the Characteristics to measure some product. Finally we confirmed the precision to compare measured data and CAD date.

We produce master patern with the rapid prototyping and to research the process which produces the prototype with vacumm casting in study. In order to select the condition where the shrinkage which appears in each process becomes smallest it used the DOE. We could confirm error value using reverse engineering. After getting the P-value with the method due to the Full Factorial Design and the ANOVA 2-way it will be able to judge the factor which gives an effect to error. It applied the error of each process in the masterpattern and improves the Size Precision of vacuum casting prototype the method which it presented.
