This paper studies about forming process design of seamless one-piece LPG vessels and in this paper. We will discuss the process design of multistage deep drawing for large size cylindrical shells with multithickness wall sections such as straight, stepped, tapered sides. These shells are constructed of type 6061 O temper aluminum starting with a blanking size of 877mm plate. Lts diameter to length ratio of 1 to 2.78 and a 36.7% wall reduction is achieved by continuous deep drawing process. This process required no in-process annealing. But after cold working, these shells is performed heat treatment to T6 condition. These shells are used for the making of seamless LPG pressure vessels after the spinning process. This process is composed of deep drawing, reverse redrawing, drawing-ironing and several ironing processes. For the verification of forming process design. We used DEFORM code.<br/>

In this paper, an assessment has been proceeded about component technology that stamping car panel can be designed and manufactured efficiently. Also this study investigated standard model of CAD/CAM system in production process of automobile dies. Recently, motor companies are doing their best to increase productivity and to reduce production time. So to develop user-friendly and effective standard model of CAD/CAM system is very important. The obtained results will lead to the reductions in lead time and man-hour required for the design and manufacture of the automobile dies.<br/>
