The purpose of this research is to introduce the regulations of the trailer hitch that had been applied at the United state and how to divide the type of trailer hitch and what is the testing method. So we have divided the trailer hitch into the weight distributing hitch and weight carrying hitch by the maximum gross trailer weight(MGTW). When a trailer is hitched to a vehicle. The wind and rolling resistance of the equipment is increased. Therefore. we have analysed the traction performance and the endurance strength of the trailer hitch with the mounted B/BEAM by the load test of6 stage. In this way we show the guidelines for designing the trailer hitch to combine the B/BEAM.

The prupose of this research is to introduce the correlation between FEA and TEST for a pedestrian Lower Legform on SUV. Recently, Domestic and Europe have been evaluating the K-NCAP and Euro-NCAP for pedestrian. Until now, it has been applied the 1st regulation on pedestrian protection on Europe, but It will be applied the 2nd regulation in 2013 on domestic and Europe. But SUV is worse than passenger cars to meet the pedestrian performance. Because it has a high ground point on the center of bumper beam, approach angle over 25°. Therefore, In this research we show the result of the correlation analysis methods that include the Mesh type, boundary condition, sensor measurement and Test VS Analysis Error

Pedestrian protection has been an important issue to get a high NCAP rating and to satisfy enhanced regulation. These days, many advanced industries are striving for a better protection of pedestrians by using an active hood lift system. In this research, the mechanical active hood system is designed to down the hood and a sensor and electrical parts do not used. Hinge and latch can be reversible by spring and locking unit. The result of headform impact test shows a decrease to reduce head injury criteria (HIC). And this system have cost and weight lower than active hood system.
