        건축자산 진흥구역에서 결합건축 제도의 시행이 도시 형태에 미칠 영향에 관한 연구

        A primary objective the Conjoint Building Program(CBP), as articulated in the legislation proceedings as to stimulate renewal andregeneration of old deteriorated districts. By allowing the transfer of development rights between two lots located within 100m radius or thesame block surrounded by 12m wide streets, CBP encourages reconstruction of old buildings with low investment value by linking it toanother lot that can buy its unused floor area ration. Most of the debates and studies prior to the introduction of the new legislation focusedon possible abuse in financial terms, and little research has been done to illustrate possible merits of deficiencies in term of urbanmorphological influences. This study offers a visual prediction of the various ways CBP can influence an urban block by reshaping andreorganizing it thrown augmented development rights to assess the pros and cons of the current program. 건축투자 활성화 대책의 일환으로 2016년 1월 건축법 제8장의3 결합건축 항목이 신설, 2018년 2월 시행을 앞두고 있다. 결합건축이란 건축법 제56조에 따른 용적률 기준을 협정을 체결한 2개의 대지에 통합 적용하여 기존의 용적률 기준을 완화해주는 제도이다. 제도 시행에 앞서 선도적으로 결합건축제도를 분석하고 건축자산 진흥구역 내 구체적인 대상지에 적용하여 건축물 단위 리뉴얼 활성화에 용적이전 방식이 효과적으로 활용 될 수 있는지 확인하고 더불어 결합건축제도의 시행이 우리 도시환경에 가져올 변화에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

        서울중앙성원의 계획적 분석과 변화 과정에 대한 고찰

        The study examined the planning and architectural transformation of the Seoul Central Masjid, the first existing mosque in Korea, andconsidered its meaning. Seoul Central Masjid was built during the period when there was a lack of information on Islamic architecture, andit was designed in the 1970s based on a superficial idea of what a masjid should be like. During the construction process, the building wascompleted in a form of omission and alteration, unlike the initial plan. After the construction, the building underwent several architecturaltransformations while using the space. The study examined what designs were adopted to realize Islamic architecture that was unprecedentedin Korea at that time. Also, the condition of the Seoul Central Masjid which was realized through design alterations was to examine how ithas changed while using since its construction. This study is further meant as a consideration of the multicultural space that has not beendealt with much in Korea so far.

        고해상도 빛공해 지도를 통한 서울시 조명환경관리구역 기준 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the classification of Seoul’s environmental lighting zone based on a high-resolution light pollutionmap of Seoul. This map was created through a data integration of night time images produced by VIIRS (Visible Infrared ImagingRadiometer Suite) and ISS (International Space Station). This map provides a detailed space grid of light pollution which allows for aquantitative analysis of the light pollution in Seoul. There are four different environmental lighting zones in Seoul based on land use:Commercial/Industrial zones, Residential zones, Green zones and Protected natural areas. These zones have corresponding light emissionstandards by regulation in which the emission standards decrease in the order listed. Using the Grasshopper Image Sampler Algorithm of thelight pollution map, this paper examines whether the current environmental lighting zone regulations agree with the current state of lightpollution level. The result shows that a lot of residential areas of the 25 District of Seoul have the same or even higher light pollution levelthan commercial areas. This is because a lot of the residential areas have mix-used facilities where high levels of commercial activities occurat night, making the city at higher risk of light pollution. In lighting zone 3, residential zones, there is a clear pattern showing that 2ndclass residential zones, 3rd class residential zones and mixed-use residential areas have higher light pollution levels than purely residentialareas and 1st class residential zones. Between commercial zones and industrial zones which are both categorized as lighting zones 4, someindustrial zones have lower light emission levels than residential zones at night depending on the type of business. Therefore, this researchsuggests lighting sub-zones for areas to have higher or lower light emission standards depending on its local land-use conditions andcommercial activities for a more efficient way to manage and govern light pollution levels at night.

        자동화, 대형화로 인한 물류센터의 건축적 변화에 대한 고찰

        Logistics centers, distribution centers, or warehouse facilities increasingly dominate urban and suburban landscapes, their enormous but blank,repetitive facades completely overshadowing adjacent buildings. Mostly ignored by architects, this new building type symbolically representsthe arrival of post-anthropocene, or post-urbicene era of architecture, in which an increasing portion of our built environment will not beintended for human occupancy, but rather for use by machines and artificial intelligence. As a new wave of logistics centers are becomingmore automated, and more supersized, it is important to deepen architects' understanding of the organizational logic and programming factorsthat inform the overall design decisions for these facilities. With a particular focus on three case studies--Coupang, E-Mart, and AmazonFulfillment Centers, this research examines the current trends in automation and expansion of logistics centers, and offers an analysis andforecast for future facilities in South Korea.

        포스트 디지털 시대의 콜라주 건축 이미지에 관한 연구

        Post-digital images in architecture recall the aesthetic sensibility of the avant-garde collages from the twentieth century by freely incorporating digital techniques into conventional representation methods to blur the boundary between the digital and the analog. Whereas the post-digital hybridization of digital and analog tools is a frequent topic for critical debates in the fields of music and aesthetic theories, it has remained mostly outside the critical discourse in architecture, despite its broad popularity among young architects. This study traces the lineage of post-digital aesthetic sensibility in architecture and attempts to define its unique characteristics that differentiate them from the avant-garde collages of the past century. '포스트 디지털'은 근래에 사회문화 전반에서 논의가 진행 중이다. 이는 디지털 기술을 기반으로 하나 아날로그와 디지털이 융합된 양상을 의미한다. 건축에서는 포스트 디지털리스트들이 제작한 콜라주 건축 이미지에서 그 경향을 살필 수 있으며, 그들은 디지털 툴을 사용하나 아날로그와 유사하도록 추상적이고, 비사실적인 표현을 사용한다. 그들의 아날로그적 표현은 1960-70년대 아방가르드의 급진적인 건축가들이 제작한 콜라주 이미지에서 영향을 받았다. 본 연구는 포스트 디지털 경향의 콜라주 건축 이미지를 고찰하며, 그 특징과 가치를 살핀다. 이를 위해 건축이미지의 역할과 콜라주의 특성을 살피고, 이를 통해 콜라주 건축 이미지를 분석한다. 아날로그에서 디지털로 툴이 변화한 것을 넘어, 포스트 디지털의 건축 이미지는 새로운 표현 방식을 통해 아이디어를 전달하는 도구로 사용되고 있다. 이러한 특징을 통해 포스트 디지털의 건축의 단초를 건축 이미지에서 찾을 수 있을 것이다.
