        비전통적 오차 최소화 방식에 기초한 비선형 빔의 휨에 대한 혼합형 유한요소해석 모델 연구

        In this paper, new type of finite element models for the analysis of nonlinear beam bending are developed by using unconventional residual minimizing method to increase accuracy of finite element solutions and overcome some of computational drawbacks. Developing procedures of the new models are presented along with the comparison of the numerical results of existing beam bending models.

        A Comparative Study on Single Time Schemes Based on the FEM for the Analysis of Structural Transient Problems

        New time schemes based on the FEM were developed and their performances were tested with 2D wave equation. The least-squares and weighted residual methods are used to construct new time schemes based on traditional residual minimization method. To overcome some drawbacks that time schemes based on the least-squares and weighted residual methods have, ad-hoc method is considered to minimize residuals multiplied by others residuals as a new approach. And variational method is used to get necessary conditions of ad-hoc minimization. A-stability was chosen to check the stability of newly developed time schemes. Specific values of new time schemes are presented along with their numerical solutions which were compared with analytic solution.

        기하학적 비선형 판재 해석을 위한 혼합형 FE Model 연구

        전통 판재이론을 이용하여 기하학적 비선형성을 갖는 판재의 휨해석을 위한 혼합형 유한요소모델을 구성하였다. 혼합형 유한요소 모델의 구성에 포함되는 변형률과 합성력의 관계에 대한 적절한 가중함수를 찾기 위하여 라그랑지 승수법과 최소가상에너지 원리를 사용하였다. 각 요소별 유한요소 방정식의 계수행렬과 뉴턴 반복법 사용을 위한 접선 행렬에 대한 구체적 값을 제시하였다. 구성된 유한요소 해석모델의 선형 해에 대한 정확도 분석을 위하여, 여러 경계조건하에서의 수학적 해와 제시된 모델과 기존 모델의 유한요소해를 비교하여 현재 모델의 정확도의 향상을 확인하였다. 또한 수렴된 비선형해를 이용하여 제시된 모델의 경우, 각종 합성력들에 대한 요소 경계에서의 연속성이 기존의 모델의 합성력에 비해 개선됨을 제시하였다. 최종적으로 수렴한 비선형해에 대한 유효성을 보이기 위하여 기존 모델의 비선형 수렴해와 현재 모델의 비선형 수렴해를 비교하여 제시하였다. A mixed finite element model was developed using the classical plate theory to analyze the nonlinear bending of a plate. The appropriate weight functions for the constraints integrated over the domain were determined by the Lagrange multiplier method by using the principle of minimum virtual energy; which provides the constitutive relations between force-like variables and strains. All of detail terms of element wise coefficient matrices and associate tangent matrices to be used in the Newton iterative method are presented. Then, the linear solutions of the current model and those of the traditional displacement model under the SS (simple support) boundary conditions were compared with the existing analytical solution. The post-processed images of the nonlinear results of the force-like variables are presented to show the continuity of the solutions at the joint of the element boundaries. Finally, the converged nonlinear finite element solutions of the current model are compared with those of existing traditional displacement model.

        A mixed finite element model was developed using the classical plate theory to analyze nonlinear bending of plate.         The rapidly changing technology of computer and communications will lead to the Digital Society of the 21st century. Academic demands for information on 'weapon system studytresearch and development)' are drastically increasing. 'Weapon system study' is not just for the military usage but also the area where collaborative work of university with the military is necessary. For this, academic circles and military should be able to freely communicate 'weapon system study' related subjects. First of all, the standardization of terminology is important. and the field of interests should be identical to one another. This article is written to introduce various matters regarding weapon system study to universities. The author reviewed some current issues on weapon system study related concerns. The purposes of this article are as follows: (1) It will be used as a reference when we prepare the document of ROC(Required Operational Capability). (2) It can be useful in establishing Korea's Defense acquisition strategies in the future. (3) Also, it will be used as an educational aid while we educate students(cadets).
